Let's start with the positives...clean place even though there's no privacy in the front room and Luna and Wafa are friendly! Now the reason I gave them only one star is because of the work. I should've done my research about Wafa and get an understanding as to why it's ineffective to have someone design the brow (Wafa) and another person do the microblading. When I went in and discussed my design I made it VERY clear to Wafa that I didn't want my eyebrows cut short like hers and I reiterated this again to Luna as she was microblading them. Wafa mentioned that "you're eyebrows are like mine" during her drawing and designing my brows and again I was very clear...I do not want my eyebrows cut short like yours and I didn't want them looking like a tattoo. Wafa used very dark black pencil to design which you're not allowed to take a picture of because she claims it's her art! I explained that I loved the design of the left eyebrow and didn't love the right one. Luna attempted to draw it to my liking and explained to Wafa what I didn't like and understood it. In the middle of the design part which took almost an hour and half Wafa had to tend to another client so I felt rushed to agree as there were other people waiting and Wafa told me she can make adjustments at the touch up if I needed. So I followed Luna to the back room which is behind a closed door and she started working. At one point she got up and came back with scissors and started cutting my eyebrows. I stated again that I don't want my eyebrows short at all as I personally didn't like Wafa's look not had any desire to come every week or every couple of days for them to cut them. I wanted and expected my microblading to be designed based on MY eyebrows and how they were NOT when they cut them off completely! When I was done they have you sign a sheet stating you approved the work however it was very difficult to see what my brows looked like or the length bc they were covered in Aquafor which I was required to keep on for two weeks. When I got home and followed their aftercare and looked in my mirror that magnifies things I noticed my eyebrows were practically gone! Yes GONE! I immediately texted Wafa and Lima responded stating if they were kept long they'd look bushy and not good and this is how they have to do it. I then called Wafa a few days later after going for consultations with two other professional microblading people who couldn't get over that my eyebrows were cut off almost! Wafa said during our call that they can't do it keeping the hair longer than they cut it and also stated during the convo that she didn't cut them short. When I mentioned Luna did she said Luna doesn't cut that she's the only one who can cut. Well guess what? THAT'S the problem with two different people doing the work! She asked if I wanted to come in to show her what I didn't like about the short hair and gave me an appointment for two weeks from then because she was so busy! Seriously? My hair is starting to grow out however looks absolutely ridiculous bc it's not inline with the microblading bc they designed it based on cutting my eyebrows so short that they literally stick straight out! She offered to redo it however I made it very clear that I don't trust her or her work because had she told me from the beginning when I told her NOT to cut my eyebrows short like hers that she couldn't do it another other way but to cut them short I would've never paid the $600 for this! I've disputed the charge and I have all the pictures and texts messages. She's not honest or clear about what she's capable of. An ethical person would've said "I cannot give you what you're asking for" and never would've taken my money. Wafa's reply to my review is so twisted and distorted so a reply isn't worth my time. If you want really good microblading check out Sculpted By Robyn! Her work is amazing and she's honest and leaves your eyebrows with the proper trim. Not the buzz cut Wafa does!!! I have been going to Wafa and Luna for a few years. I reserve writing reviews after I know I will not regret what I am going to say. Wafa is truly an artist. She never urges or forces any of the services. In fact, it took me a while to find out all she does. I came in originally for eyebrow threading. She put me in eyebrow rehab. (no plucking in between visits) so we could see what my real eyebrow growth could be. After 3 months my eyebrows were markedly fuller and along with tinting, they looked amazing. (I have blonde eyebrows and eyelashes even though I have dark hair. After about a year, I finally went to Luna to have my micro-blading done along with my tight lining at the eyelashes. So glad I finally went through with it! The whole process from design to execution was professional and open to my input. Luna has the best numbing for your eyeliner you don't even feel a thing....I must say the touch up that they include makes the look perfect!! I am in love with my eyebrows and obsessed with my waterline :) Wafa's design and Luna's permanent makeup expertise is a perfect combo. Love Wafa! Not to mention her sweet daughter! So I googled eyebrow threading around my area & Wafas came up & I decided to give it a shot! My eyebrows were perfected. During the time of her working on my brows I decided to ask skin care questions ( I tend to break out every so often & have scars from picking at them. Terrible! We first started with a deep cleaning facial, which everything was taken out of my skin, black heads,white Etc. my skin felt refreshed! Although you will leave with red marks because this is a deep cleansing facial, so worth it! Now we're working on my scarring & this will be my 2nd chemical peel in 2 months.. OMG love love loving my bright, even toned, scarring, already looking BETTER skin!! I can't give it a 5 YET, just because we're still working on my skin & have a few sessions left! Other then that ..
