I had a very disappointing experience with Adam from Expert Locksmith. He charged me $280 for the first key he made, and it broke after only 4 months. When I contacted him again, he charged me another $100 for a replacement key, which stopped working after just 3 months. On top of that, Adam lost my original key while working on the job. Technician/Adam came out and did not complete the job. He cut a key but could not complete the process of making the keypad so he stated he would return the next day to finish the key as it was getting late. He asked for payment in full which we didn't feel comfortable giving being this was our first interaction with the company. We paid $155 of the $250 balance with the expectation he would return the next day to finish. The key that he cut does not work at all. After calling all morning at 2pm he finally answers after I had someone else call from another number. He then says he will finish the job but not today. After asking for an expected date he can complete job he got mad and hung up in my face. I am a very professional and reasonable person so this type of behavior is completely unacceptable and uncalled for. Adam was upset because he said my husband called him to many times regarding the key. But if he had held true to his word and returned he wouldn't have had so many missed calls from him. No one ever yelled at the technician or got rude with him so his behavior was completely unexpected. He became extremely frustrated when he realized we wanted the job completed and paying a portion of the price wasn't going to suffice for us. The worst part of it all, the key doesn't work at all so we paid for a shell of a key, $155. After hanging up in my face he blocked my number so when I called back I got his voicemail. I left a message telling him I would give him a little time to either come out and finish the job or return the money and he could pick up the nonworking key at his convenience. I further stated that if he didn't contact us I would just go forward with filing a police report and whatever next steps would be necessary.
