Hazem is hands down a miracle worker!!! I brought my wedding dress pretty last minute and I wasn't sure if he would be able to take it in but he was so accommodating. I purchased a bridesmaid dress from the online boutique the wedding planner set up. It was full length and velvet with a silk liner. I really procrastinated trying it on and the Monday before the event I figured out it was too long. I called and he saved my day. The hem line followed the flare style of the dress and it looked like it was made that way. I paid less than I had planned based off of pricing for other places. I came in here comparing prices from other competitors. From the customer service to the affordable pricing to the quality of his work, you definitely get your money's worth when you come into the store. simply, I just needed to get my length of my dress cut shorter. There are two layers and at most places they like to keep it longer so if they do messed up, the customer can let them know. Because I was on a time constraint, I let the gentleman know that it is needed by next month and he was able to get it to me long before. The stitching was as if he's never touched it before, very professional! I would definitely recommend coming to this place for alterations! This is my go to for every alteration. I'm 5' 1 1/2" tall and even petite can be too long sometimes. Hazeem is an amazing tailor and has altered everything for me from coats to jeans to formal dresses and everything in between. He's taken up jeans and put back on the original hems, shortened sleeves, lifted shoulders. He's let out seams when I've put on weight, taken in seams when I've lost weight too. He's made my husband's work shirts into button down collars which he prefers. There's nothing that he can't do. Highly recommended read more

I showed up at 9:30, as their hours are displayed but they did not arrive until 10:30. Then I went to get my item shortened (a very simple alteration) asked how long it would take (expecting 1 hour) and he said SEVEN DAYS. That is 100% false advertisement. Why would you name your business ONE HOUR if it takes seven days to simply cut one strip & sew it up? Would never come here with misrepresentation of what they do. read more

I realized the NIGHT before my friend's wedding, (the week before Christmas) that the dress I planned to wear needed to be taken in. I woke up early the next morning and called Expert One Hr Alteration in utter panic. I explained the situation, and asked if they could have it done before we left Houston at 1pm. They made no promises until they saw the dress, so I raced over. The man behind the counter had me try it on and show him where I wanted it taken in. He listened carefully and made sure it was pinned just the way I wanted, and agreed to have it done in time. He actually called me earlier than expected with it done, and it was PERFECT. I wish I had taken before and after pics! The dress was too large in the waist and hips initially, but the alterations had my curves lookin SNATCHED! I felt so confident and sexy that night, and was even still able to enjoy the food, cake and drinks without the dress getting too tight and making me look bloated. 10/10 will use them again and recommend to anyone. read more

Ok guys if u need a dress altered only go to him!! I needed my bridesmaid's dress to fit perfectly for my best friend's wedding & he did the most wonderful job. I told him when I needed it ready so of course he had it ready before then in case any adjustments had to be made. Dress was ready before scheduled pickup date.
