She's traveled the world and lived everywhere, so don't be shy about your own travels and places you'd like to visit, because my girl has got recommendations! I can't recommend this sweet soul's work enough. She's an artist and will not lead you astray (or let you lead yourself astray with requests for color that won't suite you). I'm mixed and have had a hard time in the past finding stylists that knew how to cut my hair without leading to a total disaster (I once walked out a salon with my hair one inch shorter than the other side, and no I wasn't going for an asymmetrical look). I had finally found someone I loved a few years ago, and then of course I had to move away. I LOVE my hair shorter and took years to find the perfect cut to frame my face. I have had a lot of stylists that were hesitant to cut my hair as short as I was asking for or missed the mark as far as the shape of the cut was concerned. Nicole really listened. She looked at every picture, confirmed what I wanted, and even went back and cut more at my request. She was great from start to finish, had reasonable prices, and I will definitely go back to her in the future when I need a trim. Her styling was great, and she cut my side bangs perfectly, which is rare (I don't think even my last greatly loved stylist was able to do it in a way that it curls towards the back of my hair and blends in the way I like it to). The styling was included with the cut, which was really nice. I will have to see how the cut looks with my natural hair the next time I wash it, but I have no reason to doubt that it'll be just fine.

My first hair appointment I was notified last minute it needed to be pushed back 30 minutes and it didn't start till 1 hour past the time. My second appointment she last minute asked to change from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. I told her quickly that wouldn't work and I waited to hear back. By the time I heard back, it was too late for me to make it to this appointment. I had to organize my whole week around this appointment and I feel like the repeated tardiness and last minute notification was unprofessional. Then she said I had to pay for the entire service and she is threatening to take it to court. I thought she was a professional and would be respectful of peoples time. But now she is wanting to charge me $300 for services not rendered and threatening legal action. Response To Owner: I have screenshots showing the text exchanges with her which shows I was never 45 minutes late, to the initial consult. I was 1 minute late to the 6/26/2024 1:30 pm consultation appointment due to issues finding parking and where the entrance was located.You can see where I texted that I was parking, along with the timestamp. Then my first hair appointment on 6/27/2024 I was on time, but had to wait an hour past the appointment time for it to start. I attached the text communication to show that as well.
