I got my hair done with Ally on the 24th of feb. and let me tell y'all this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a hair stylist. Ally was born to do hair. A couple years back I had gotten a blonde balayage done and I loved it, so for awhile after it had grown out I had been wanting to do it again. It was important that the person I went to knew what they were doing cause like most people, I had envisioned how I wanted it to come out and was stuck on that specific look. I Found Ally and knew by just the pictures of her work that she was the bomb diggity. So I reached out, we set up a consultation, talked about what I wanted done, fast forward to the 24th and I got my hair done and it's perfect. You can tell this girl loves what she does and really has a passion for hair. I absolutely love my hair and walked out feeling like a new woman. For what I wanted, I needed a color correction to lift some gross brassy red I had in my hair, a good chop to get rid of dead ends and even out all the uneven pieces of hair from heat damage and anything else you could think of, and a good blowout to finish it off so I was there for several hours but tbh it didn't really feel like it. With Ally I felt like I was hanging with a friend. We talked, we laughed, and she offered me a glass of wine plus a hand massage to top it off. With this being said she still always kept it professional and was very knowledgeable and kind. I really liked that she listened to any concerns I had and answered questions I had with confidence. I do also appreciate her recommendations because I went in wanting long layers, but because of all the damage I wanted cut off, she suggested that I wait till next time to do layers otherwise my hair would've been too short for I wanted and she was 100% right because the length it was at in the end was perfect and my hair looks beautiful and have already gotten tons of compliments. Not to mention what I got done from Ally is slightly different than what I had when I got it the first time a couple years back, BUT that's what I asked for and she hit it right on the nail. ***if you have curly hair look no further!!!*** WOW, where do I begin?! First off, this was my first salon experience, never having dyed my hair at all... and I was trying to do something a lil crazy(blonde balayage/shadow root)! Second, I was visiting the area and just happened to stumble on Ally through Yelp. It was spur of the moment that I would try to get my hair done while out of town. She was super sweet with educating me on whats safest for my curls and so I went for it! The fact she even cared about the integrity of my hair vs what I wanted her to do really meant a lot to me. She suggested less blonde as a first timer and I am so glad she did. Ally exceeded ALL my expectations. I dread seeing anyone else because if how amazing she was. I have very curly hair and Ally knew EXACTLY what to do. When I first met her I could tell how much she LOVED what she did and how experienced she was. Flawless technique. She's literally a hair scientist! Even though I was nervous (but excited), Ally never told me not to feel that way because nervous means you care about the end result! I loved that. Recently moved to this area after living in Ohio for a majority of my life. I was stressing to find someone who could do my hair. I was in a desperate need of a touch up and hair cut. I spent time researching stylists near me that had a good portfolio for coloring, especially to keep my teenage daughter's hair in good condition. We had a consult/haircut appointment to discuss, in length, what objective my daughter was trying to achieve and any short and long term goals. Because she's a teenager we also chatted about ideal maintenance and finding both a style and color that wouldn't need us driving her back for an appointment in 4 weeks. Ally worked to get us on her schedule for an absolutely BEAUTIFUL result of my daughter's hair. She was so pleased with her new layers and how they framed her face but when she got the extra blonde put in her hair, she was hooked. Her hair still looks natural, looks great up and braided and complements her natural hair color, skin tone and eyebrows. I am thoroughly impressed with Ally's skills but to top that off, her professionalism is appreciated. She made my young daughter feel comfortable, inspired her to explore her personality in her hair and spent extra time educating to make sure she understood how to properly take care of her hair. Two words: MIRACLE WORKER! Ally absolutely transformed my at home box dye back into my highlighted blonde look. I was so worried that I had messed my previous highlights up, but Ally ensured me that she could help.
