I read…read morethe reviews from this shop before taking my S550 Mercedes there to be repaired, the reviews seemed to be very good so I believed this would be a good shop to get my car fixed. I was not fully aware of what was wrong with my car that I drove from NC to FL before the engine just stopped when I came to a stop sign. I had my car towed to this shop which claims to "specialize" in foreign cars BMW, PORSCHE, MERCEDES ETC. I called and spoke to Dan Royster himself and I told him I felt that my starter or engine control was bad and needed to be replaced, he asked me how did I know and I told him I watched a few videos on my car and that was the common issue, his exact words were "why are you letting YouTube fix your car when I'm the professional and why would you go for the jugular so soon when it may be a simple fix". He reassured me with his words and I felt that my car was in the right place. He called me the very next day and said he had bad news for me, my engine was completely locked and my beloved car was finished, he told me it happens to those cars all the time, I tried to inquire about getting it fixed regardless and he insisted it wouldn't be worth it quoting me $14,000 to repair it! I dropped my car off to Dan Royster's shop on Nov. 23rd of 2024 to be diagnosed and repaired which was never done properly, I was hoping the mechanic would take a deeper look and call back with better news which never happened. I have voicemails from Dan Royster stating that my engine was gone, every phone call to his shop he would reiterate that the engine was bad which lead me to believe him being that he claims to be a professional! Fast forward to January 9th of 2025 I listed my car for sale on FB marketplace for parts trusting the word and so called expertise of this mechanic, the Buyer met me at the mechanic shop and purchased the car I paid $50,000 for, for $8500 with the intent to use for parts, the person that bought my car called me the next day with the car running in perfect condition after changing a $200 part (starter)!!!!! He told me the mechanic lied to me and it was only a $200 fix and not $14,000 like I was told by this shop! I was very hurt and upset once I learned that I was lied to in hopes that I would forfeit my vehicle, I contacted Dan Royster immediately the very next day to let him know the loss I took due to his misdiagnosis and his exact words were "I'm human I make mistakes"!!!! A simple mistake is understood but quoting me a $14000 mistake is mind blowing and I am now at a total loss and headed to litigation with this shop for the balance of the true value of my vehicle. Dan Royster agreed to make it right at first which we have recorded, then changed his story after disappearing for a week and now says he isn't responsible and that "I should not have listened to him and trusted his word, I should have towed it somewhere else for a second opinion" which we also have that statement recorded as well. Stay far away from this place and in his own words "ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION" do not take his words for anything, if he quoted me $14,000 for a $200 job I am pretty sure he's done this in the past and got away with ripping off unknowing customers that believe and trust his word. Be VERY careful and sure to double check his work, parts and the amount you are being charged because he has no problem quoting & charging you for things you don't need!! He is either totally incompetent and really has no clue of what he's doing or he's just dishonest and ripping people off but it's definitely one or the other which equals bad business, do not listen to this guy you may just need a $10 fuse, take your car somewhere else and don't fall victim to the "honest" reviews like I did they just didn't uncover the truth because we're customers not mechanics and this guy will get over on you!

On numerous occasions, I've paid for one wash but received a different one. The drying wheel rarely seems to work properly, and after one of my recent washes, my truck was left with significant swirl marks in the paint. The final incident was the last straw. I have a truck with a ladder rack that had been approved by the manager, and I had successfully gone through this wash more than 50 times without any issues. During my most recent visit, the employees incorrectly operated the wash. They failed to properly retract the overhead bar and also allowed the vehicle behind me to get within about two feet of my truck instead of maintaining a safe distance. As my truck continued through the wash, the overhead wash bar came down onto the bed of my truck, ripped my entire ladder rack off, damaged my truck, and completely destroyed the rack. Their response was simply that it "wasn't their fault." However, this incident was entirely preventable and was the direct result of employee error. It was the staff's responsibility to correctly retract the overhead equipment and properly space the vehicles before sending them through the wash. After the incident, I contacted corporate but never received a response. I was left with a damaged truck, a destroyed ladder rack, and no accountability from the company. As a result, I immediately canceled my membership. It's disappointing because this used to be a business I highly recommended. Sadly, based on how this situation was handled, I can no longer recommend it.

When I called to confirm availability, I spoke with Jesse who was polite and helpful over the phone and he said they could get me taken care of so I decided to give them my business. I dropped my truck off at 1:00 and was helped by Gloria who was also very friendly. I went to the mall nearby and walked around while I waited since it's an outdoor car wash. In every industry there are people who represent that industry well, and people who misrepresent,…read morecon or scam their way through it. This shop and owner are part of the latter group. Let me tell you about my experience with these crooks.. with both of their "services." I took two vehicles to them for a tint job. And later on, decided to get them detailed as well. I spent about $1000 in total. Keep in mind their prices aren't cheaper than other shops in the area, in fact more expensive in some aspect. Knowing this, I wrongly assumed they would do a perfect or at least a "good" job, and oh boy was I wrong. I got one car fully tinted, including the full windshield, and another car windshield tinted. This has got to have been the worst tint job, and experience I have ever went through. To begin with, the Initial tint took forever. I've never had to wait so long for tint to be done in my life. After the initial tint. Right away, on both cars I noticed "scuffs" in the tint on pretty much every single window they did. When I expressed my concerns about them he told me it was just "water" and the tint needed to "cure." I waited 3-4 days as he told me too. After 3-4 days, I'm sure you can guess, - the scuffs were still there. I contacted him, and he told me to bring it in, in the morning and he'll have it done for me first thing in the morning. I did as he said and brought it at 8:45am since he told me he'll be there at 9am. Instead of the car being done first thing, as he said it would; the car was instead done last and I didn't get the car until almost 8pm. I wasn't too thrilled with having to wait all day. But decided If the tint is done well, it would be okay... When I got home and under better lighting I once again found those same scuffs under the tint. I again expressed my concern, and he called me saying it needs to "cure" and it's just "water." I told him if that's the case why hasn't that "water" disappeared from the other car? The owner then told me that he's been doing tint daily for "10 years." He then said that the tint he did is "perfect" there was nothing wrong with it, and basically told me that's as good as anyone could do it. He said I couldn't get it done better anywhere other than what he did. (But I have gotten it done better before. I know what a good tint job is supposed to look like, and that isn't it. Far from it, in fact). At this point I've had my car tinted and retinted several times; each time he did a crappier job and the last. I asked him to either redo it right or for him to give me a partial refund . He then said he "trusts someone who's been doing tint for 10 years (talking about himself) more than a customer who doesn't know what he's talking about", I asked if I can get a quote from another "professional" and see if they say it's done poorly, if he would believe me, he said no and said he isn't doing either and hung up on me. Refusing to do it right, or give me a partial refund for a crappy job. After this conversation with him I decided to do a full inspection of every window he tinted. *pictures attached* I got also both of my cars "fully" detailed with them, the day after the tint job. (This was during the period "tint curing." So I haven't discovered all of the things wrong with the tint yet) Once again, mobiletampabay took all day on the cars. I'm not sure what they did, but I found water spots on the cars, that I wiped away with my own towel. To make things worse they didn't even vacuum the trunk on one of my cars. I firmly believe that work should speak for itself. I was wondering why "Mobiletampabay" offers both vehicle tinting and detailing... that's because they do half a job on each of those services. I've worked with true professional and masters of the craft, and mobiletampabay are in my opinion, a disgrace to both the tinting and detailing industry. By doing half a job and a bad one at that, and refusing to make things right or refund the customer, it's safe to say that they are scamming unsuspecting customers. I recommend anyone looking for tint or a detail to go to an actual reputable company that doesn't do shady business practices. Steer clear from this place. Don't waste your hard earned money, or time there. But If for some reason you still decide to go there. PAY WITH A CARD. If you aren't satisfied and they refuse to refund you, you can dispute it. I wish I didn't pay with cash. Don't make my mistake.
