I love that they use ADP and I can electronically put in my hours from home or at work. I'm not sure of the prior experience of a prior disgruntled employeewith her issues with pay but my experience is you get your hours in by the deadline, you get paid on time. If you don't, you have to wait until the next pay period. I've never had any issues with my pay from them but I always report on time and they send a nice reminder out to you as well! They actually take the time to contact you if you seem like a good fit, if they find work you may like, and even if there are some concerns. They're just easy to talk to and to work with. After you go through the initial song and dance to see if you are a good candidate for employment, it's all down-hill gravy from there... or maybe it's just gravy. The staff is super friendly and understanding. And the best part is that they helped me find several temporary jobs that I liked and would never have found on my own. During the hour-long interview, I can't help but notice that this agency is "religion-based" (Evangelical Christian). I am a practicing Catholic, but I felt that we should be focusing more on my skills, professional/educational backgrounds, and potentials. It was so cringy as I felt like I was getting recruited to be a part of a ministry or cult. Also, I felt so uncomfortable getting interviewed while there are several conversations going on in the background. I tried to follow up with two of their associates and I never heard back from them which is a blessing in disguise as I would have not been a good fit and I personally wouldn't be happy in the long run. In all honesty this is not a reputable agency, and the Department of Labor should probably look into their practice. For someone who has a background in Human Resources, in my opinion, an agency should practice fairness and equity and Theophany Staffing missed the mark.
