They're too many of us experienced workers that have been treated a certain manner and talk to a certain way by the staffing specialist just because they have the control and power over, giving us jobs and taking us off jobs. Specifically the Westland office now mind you, I said everyone experience is different. However, the Westland office Cynthia and Brandon, they need to be investigated for code of conduct policy violations. No one cares about the actual workers, opinions, thoughts and views. No one calls to do any type of survey or anything to get our opinions on how we can make the company better at all and I'm tired of it. Upper management of people ready. They can care less and I do mean they can care less. I have two interactions with the marketing branch manager. I think it is two very unpleasant phone calls with that gentleman. I came in around 11 and there wasn't a wait like I was told there usually is. I was helped immediately and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have never filed unemployment before so I wasn't sure everything I was supposed to do based off the email I was sent. It was a very easy process and I was able to walk in and out in less then 10 minutes! I highly recommend this facility!

They seem to be run very loosely and I felt unsure from the get go. After wasting several hours of my time filling out paperwork on my own computer I was asked to find someone official to help with the I-9 form since Lajoy has NO local office here. So not only did I waste MY time but I wasted an officer acquaintance who went out of his way to help me. LaJoy will stress that you can't have a felony and that you must pass a drug test. No problem here! The only thing that I had was a petty misdemeanor from 20 YEARS AGO that wasn't anything serious. They were only required to dig back 7 years but guess what, they went ALL the way back to my tiny misdemeanor 20 years ago and rejected me! After getting my hopes up and making me do so much on my end! So let that be a lesson and an example of how ruthless they are. I've read that they fire people on a whim and I believe it. BEST part, not only do they reject your employment by email, they reject via telephone and regular mail as well! So if you weren't angry enough at them once, you get to experience your blood boiling multiple times. STEER CLEAR OF LAJOY GROUP. There are a TON of jobs out there and MUCH BETTER hiring agencies to work with. Oh, and guess what the job was that they offered? Stocking bread on shelves as a merchandiser part time. Not even a serious job. WTF Lajoy? Pull it together.
