They make me absolutely sick I have literally waited 3 months to even start getting my pay from this company and then I get called by my caseworker which never happened and asked me why would I work for a company like that and I said what do you mean and he said well I'm telling you right now that company has horrible reviews yesterday Marie Daniel from la Joy group the head of payroll told me the day of payday after they didn't pay me at all that she needed some kind of paper but she was just reading my messages you can see the read receipt but she wasn't responding and I said are you going to respond to me that's my legal right I worked for these hours and she said I was waiting for my boss because you didn't hand over that paper or we're talking the payroll week of 8 7 20 22 through 8:13-2022 but she waited until payday when I had no money on my card to tell me that she needed that paper that's why they're not going to pay me so I resent the paper again and you know those unprofessional I'm going to keep the name to myself closed and refuse to pay me and left me and my daughter with no diapers no clothes no gas will we have clothes excuse me but no gas knowing I work 7 days a week for them it didn't bother them even though my client is one of the clients in lenawee county suffering from losing their home at the high-rise on college avenue I didn't even phase them they are the most heartless group of people I've ever dealt with in my life and just so they know they're not getting away with this it's illegal I've contacted the state of Michigan better Business bureau as well and other departments, oh and get this I have the app for notified on my phone they blocked me on that blocked my email and they don't answer calls my client and Adrian Michigan that deals with the joy they don't even answer the phone for him or his case manager how disgusting is that I don't know who your guys's manager is but you guys need to be put in your place read more

Zero stars. DO NOT ACCEPT A JOB FROM THEM no matter how appealing it sounds!! You can roll the dice but you've been warned. They seem to be run very loosely and I felt unsure from the get go. After wasting several hours of my time filling out paperwork on my own computer I was asked to find someone official to help with the I-9 form since Lajoy has NO local office here. So not only did I waste MY time but I wasted an officer acquaintance who went out of his way to help me. LaJoy will stress that you can't have a felony and that you must pass a drug test. No problem here! The only thing that I had was a petty misdemeanor from 20 YEARS AGO that wasn't anything serious. They were only required to dig back 7 years but guess what, they went ALL the way back to my tiny misdemeanor 20 years ago and rejected me! After getting my hopes up and making me do so much on my end! So let that be a lesson and an example of how ruthless they are. I've read that they fire people on a whim and I believe it. BEST part, not only do they reject your employment by email, they reject via telephone and regular mail as well! So if you weren't angry enough at them once, you get to experience your blood boiling multiple times. STEER CLEAR OF LAJOY GROUP. There are a TON of jobs out there and MUCH BETTER hiring agencies to work with. Oh, and guess what the job was that they offered? Stocking bread on shelves as a merchandiser part time. I have called this company several times they never return calls I have looked for reviews on this company not to many kind reviews and I can see why terrible people skills and I dont believe the have the jobs the jobs that they post! read more
