I experienced a wait time of over 2 hours, during which no more than 3 patients were seen and at least 2 individuals left without being seen. When I was finally seen, the evaluation required a more involved work up than I had anticipated. I expressed my preference to follow up with my primary care physician, who has access to my prior history and comprehensive records. However, the urgent care physician was persistently insistent that I proceed with testing on-site, which became uncomfortable. I ultimately chose to leave after a prolonged wait and an interaction that I found to be unprofessional. read more

The doctors and NPs at Express Family are all caring and wonderful! The fact that they are a one-stop shop (did you know you can get XRAYS here WITHOUT going to the hospital?!?! Most send you to the hospital for EXTRA bills to pay!!) is wonderful. The facilities are clean and it was super fast like they really care about you and your time. I HIGHLY recommend EFC! read more

The doctors are nice but the rest of staff are inconsistent. You never know if you'll get a nurse or receptionist who cares about the patient, or one who passes the buck and has a "that's not our fault/problem" attitude. Also, nowhere on the website does it say that a sick visit requires an appointment. Also, your appointment confirmation says you'll get a link with your place in line, according to the girl who checked me in "that's not accurate either." Photos below. If you're going to go, would go in the morning. That seems to be when the decent staff are working. If you have concerns, don't waste your time trying to talk with the practice manager, they will conveniently not be available. read more

I give Express Family Care (EFC) on Brambleton Avenue five stars in every respect. The place is sparkling clean, the staff is courteous and efficient, and the PA who attended to my wife was a great listener, highly qualified, and his advice promptly resolved her vertigo issues. On most medical issues short of a heart attack or stroke I'd recommend EFC over any of the local emergency rooms. read more

The first time I used this Bussiness I had an appointment for a Covid test and flu test and waited 3 hours to be seen. While being sick that is not what you want! The second time I was also trying to get a Covid test and flu test and waited for 50 minutes. read more

I have been here many times and this was the WORST experience I have every had here. Arrived at 9am, taken in for vitals very quickly. Sat and waited 25 mins and still not seen. Asked staff in back part of office when I might be seen. A PA came in a few minutes later, never saw a Dr. PA was good, thorough, but had come on duty at 9am and by time I was seen it was 9:30. Only one other person in a room, that I could tell. However, I heard a great amount of loud laughter and talking from back office; when I was leaving after seeing PA I noticed a man that I believe was the Dr and his friends coming up to front, still socializing. This is not showing proper respect for patients and their issues. I have been here many times and have never experienced this before. I am glad that I had no serious issues that needed prompt attention. I must say that the front desk staff was very efficient and friendly. read more

My wife and I have both been to Express Family Care twice each in the last 3 months. We were both greatly impressed by the caring attitudes, the professionalism, the speed at which we were seen and the facility it's self. They accepted all of our insurance providers and truly made us feel welcome. It is the best facility of its type we have dealt with. read more

Wait time much too long when the place is not even busy. Does not deserve to be called "Express" Med at this point. More like, sit and wait just like a hospital emergency room. I left this facility after being in severe pain and went to the Lewis Gale mini-ER on Franklin Rd. I was seen promptly there and got excellent care. I have used Express Med many times in the past for both me and my mother, but will never use it again when Dr. Allgood is working. The staff is very nice but Dr. Allgood has no apparent sense of urgency in an urgent care setting. read more

This was the worst "urgent" care facility I have ever visited. I was there for 2 hours (the place wasn't even busy) to get about 1 minute with the doctor. I am not from here and if I would have known better I wouldn't have gone. I will say that the receptionists seemed very nice. That's about the only positive. read more

I took my daughter here for a sick visit. We were seen quickly. The staff was so professional and caring. Then nurse, I believe her name was Amy, made my daughter's fears disappear. My daughter even asked if we could go back tomorrow! Haha! Keep up the great work. read more
