The salesman Paul who came to measure and discuss my needs is fantastic. He applied a significant discount, making it cheaper than Home Depot which we had serious problems with twice (Crew 2 subcontractor installers). It seems that most subcontractors are a little bit shady. The installers were a little sloppy, leaving behind some debris and loose nails around the area. I'm not 100% sure about this, but the a box of hard floor panels was left behind by crew 2, and after my carpet was installed, one of the ten boxes was empty. I don't know who took it, but my guess is the contractors from express. read more

On October 24th we had carpet installed in 3 bedrooms. The installers had moved the bed and dresser from the master bedroom to the master bathroom so they could lay the carpet. We had previously had the entire interior painted in preparation to sell the house and the master bathroom was a tan and had been repainted white. The installers scraped the paint off the wall. It stuck out like a sore thumb. One thing the salesman told us was we could always reach out to customer service through their application if we installed it so we did. Sounded easy right? NOT. I went on the application to explain and request someone contact me. No response. I called twice. No response. I filed a BBB. Then the BBB me two emails stating they had no response from Express. After this I get a call from April M. I call her back and we finally discuss the issue. Again we go back and forth, I try again twice through their app and make calls. The end result is FINALLY April arranged for John to come out to paint the wall. The result is great. It's a match. This is the second time we've used them for flooring and we've had issues both times. read more

This review is overdue on this forum. I have had people say they were unhappy with them and others say they were. I am very happy to say they did a beautiful job and although I was dreading the process, it honestly was worth it. Our condo had white tile and while carpet. It had to go and once we were ready we had a few companies give us estimates. One was a "friend of a friend" who gave us an estimate, then wanted to subcontract it out because it was too hot to work inside in the summer. The second company was smaller-more mom & pop type-gave an estimate but we had to move all of our own furniture; that was not an option. We called Express flooring and I'm glad we did. The process starts as usual: someone comes to the house, brings samples, talks about which flooring has what properties, goes over the process and gives an estimate. The estimated price was negotiated down a bit but within our budget and we signed on the dotted line. We gave a deposit and the full price was due before they came to install. They would be here for 5 days. We moved to a hotel. These guys showed up when promised, moved my furniture without incident-nothing broke. My husband worked closely with them everyday, we bought lunch for the installers and we wound up having a good relationship with these guys. They stayed late to keep the project to its 5 days schedule. Due to the amount of dust one of the workers recommended a cleaning company and we had them come in and clean before we came back to stay. The cleaning of all the dust (we had a lot of tile) took two days but so worth it because I could never have done as good a job. When I walked in that first time; wow! I am in love with my floors and I think Express Flooring not only delivered beautiful flooring but has some kind, professional installers working for them and I hope they realize that. Stay Away - They Don't Honor Their Warranty We've had ongoing warranty issues that Express Flooring refuses to address. Despite multiple calls and emails, they've stopped responding altogether. On top of that, their installers caused damage to our recently renovated bathroom. Be aware that Express Flooring hires third-party installers, and unfortunately, the quality has been terrible in our experience. Express Flooring had no problem showing up for the consultation and charging my card immediately, but the moment I needed something simple--a basic piece of paperwork for my HOA--they vanished. I called multiple times a day for an entire week. Every time, I was told they would "create an account" for someone to reach out. They created several of these so-called accounts. Guess how many people actually got back to me? NOT ONE. I spoke with Annette, supposedly a supervisor. She also created another useless "account" and promised to give me her direct line if the issue continued. When I followed up, she handed me the main customer service number--the same black hole I'd been stuck in from the start. So yes, she flat-out lied. I also spoke with the scheduling coordinator, Lindsay, who assured me she would help figure everything out. And just like everyone else at this company, she disappeared--no returned calls, no texts, nothing. This company is disorganized, dishonest, and clearly only cares about charging your card--not providing service. We had carpet carpets installed in 2018, the install went good, I have them cleaned every 6 months and I have a home carpet cleaner I use in case of any spills, We paid extra for upgraded carpet, stain guard and wear and tear... I clean my house daily and I have professional house cleaners come once a month. The carpets started deteriorating last year and I had them cleaned again in Oct, I contacted express flooring because they are not coming clean now, their customer service is horrible and their "warranty specialist" (Maribel) is extremely rude. I had to file with the BBB, and their response was that my carpet is un-keep as they termed it. They REFUSED to even come out and evaluate the carpet due to the fact that I only have 1 (the latest) receipt. I have an area that is original to the house 25 yo, and it looks better then their carpet.. The carpet is no where near the quality they say, and we were definitely cheated.. They use false advertisement and lies to steal your money... The carpet is very poor quality and not worth the money you spend.. They give you nice looking warranty certificates to make you feel secure But you NEED to READ the fine print which they do not tell you about.... Hindsight.... DO NOT HIER EXPRESS FLOORING!!!!! eware of Express Flooring! We had a leak from the roof of our 1400 sq ft townhouse which is a rental property. As a result, we had to replace all the flooring, baseboards & walls and ceilings had to be repaired and repainted. September 2024 we interviewed several contractors for the flooring job. We went with Express Flooring based largely on their 50 year warranty. Our salesman went to great length explaining this incredible warranty that covered all damage including scratches and water damage 100% covered. All we would have to do is call customer service and they would take care of you. We do have in writing that there is a 50 year warranty on the flooring and the job was over $13,000. Ultimately this is who we went with. Flooring and baseboards were completed in a timely manner and we did notice after the guys left there were a few scratches, but we were not too concerned as we had a 50 year warranty and wanted to wait until our tenant was out. When our tenant moved out in January we decided to put our property on the market & while doing a thorough inspection we found that the bathrooms had not been completed around the tub & the shower in 2 bathrooms. We also noticed some additional scratches that could have been from our tenant moving furniture. We immediately called Express Flooring in January 2025. Once we made the initial call it took them a week to come to the property. When the guy came to the property he said the bathrooms were unfinished and that some of the scratches may be superficial and asked that we clean first which we were happy to do. He said it had to go through Express Flooring and he would submit his report first thing Monday morning as this was the previous Friday. Express Flooring NEVER called us back. My husband and I called multiple times always having to go through customer service and them telling us that it's been turned over to the install team that will do the job and it's up to them to call us. We waited on hold up to 30 minutes at a time to talk to customer service to be told the same exact thing over and over. After 20 days of calling, waiting on hold, being told the same exact thing we finally called on 2/12 and told the customer service person that we were done and this was being turned over to the Better Business Bureau, Registrar of Contractors, I was going to start writing bad reviews and even contact local media . The last 2 days customer service even promised a call from manager. That call never came, but we did receive an email from the April Macias on 2/12 the 20th day. April Macias IC/ Service Manager PHX Express Home Services, LLC. p: 602-535-3021 a: 4110 W. Washington Street, Suite 100      Phoenix, AZ 85009 April stated in her email there was severe wear and tear and they were not responsible for any of the scratches and the bathroom clearly went through a remodel and finishing them was not their responsibility. Let me be clear there was no remodel to the bathrooms and the only contractors in the bathroom was their contractor who did the flooring and the baseboards & the painter. We admit our tenant may have scratch some of the flooring while moving furniture, but again we were not concerned because we have a 50 year warranty and this was discussed thoroughly in the consultation when we were interviewing companies for the flooring job. In April's email she offered "as a courtesy" they would do the job with no warranty for $1344.91. We have moved forward and found our own contractor for far less than their courtesy offer. We should have never had to pay one penny out-of-pocket for any thing after what we were promised. Our townhouse has been put on hold for 20 days to be told we had to pay for what was promised to us as a 50 year warranty. We are literally in shock and can't believe how inconsiderate and unprofessional Express Flooring has been in handling our situation. I found April's manager online and sent him an email. Installers was unprofessional. Didn't show up on one day at all. States miscommunication between dispatch and him but no one help accountable. The main installer also told my wife she had pretty eyes in Spanish. Thismad ger feel uncomfortable in her own home. At least one of the installers should be fluent in English so they can communicate with our customers. I speak Spanish, but my wise does not, and she felt very uncomfortable trying to speak to them when they didn't understand what she was trying to say, and she didn't understand what they were saying. She had to consistently get me on the phone to try to translate what was going on. The technician also left a 1" x 1 square of tile that was in a spot depths very visible, looked unprofessional, and I had to fight with him about fixing it. He also put tile underneath the dishwasher and cut around the legs of the dishwasher, which made it almost impossible to take a dishwasher out without having to mess with the dishwasher legs to get it out. Also had to fight with him about fixing that. Now to get onto the sales person. He was very misleading. We had to finance our floors through a third-party company and we were told we could make any amount of payment for the first year and as long as it was paid off before one year, we wouldn't pay any interest. This was incorrect information. When we tried to speak to him about it, he just referred us to the corporate office, basically washed his hands of our business and moved on. Which is a sad story because we were also talking to him about doing our upstairs and now we will be looking for a different contractor to do the upstairs work. Overall express flooring it's too big for their own good. Everybody points the finger out somebody else that somebody else is responsible and nobody's held accountable. The lack of communication between dispatching and technicians is unacceptable and I will never use or recommend this company again. PS they washed out their grout buckets in my gravel rock side house that left all the rocks discolored not matching the rest. Also very unprofessional. read more

The installers did an outstanding job and very thorough and timely. I have doubts about salesperson as I feel she was either not totally knowledgeable about the installation process or I was not being told the truth. She was adamant that it could not be laid over the existing hardwood floor which was in excellent condition but making the house look aged. However as soon as the installers arrived their first question was why did i want to take up the hardwood as the next owner may want it and would not be damaged with the new flooring being laid down. I did ask for a refund for the extra labor that was not needed and received it. HOWEVER I was also offered a travel package with the purchase and cannot get an answer as to whom is going to contact me after numerous phone calls. I only give the 3 stars due to this not being finalized after about 2 months. Floor and installation process is very satisfactory. read more

Express Flooring installed new flooring throughout my home in January 2023. Their website states they have a Lifetime Warranty that guarantees the installation on all of their work. By August 2023, the boards were coming apart and the flooring was showing signs of significant defects. I contacted them and an inspector was sent out. Their inspector concluded that the entire house needed to be re-done due to improper installation. Despite their inspector's report, I did not hear back from Express Flooring. I followed up multiple times in October 2023, reaching out to both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the finance company they had directed me to in order to obtain assistance. On December 11, 2023, two groups of workers arrived at my home, but they caused significant damage to the paint and baseboards. During their visit, the workers got into a heated argument about who was going to pay for the job and ultimately left without completing any work. The end of December 2023, the flooring was replaced. On January 25, 2025, I contacted Express Flooring again because the flooring was separating throughout the entire house again, which has persisted since the original installation. On February 5, 2025, two subcontractors arrived at my home, took pictures of the flooring throughout the house, and concluded that the issues were due to improper installation. The planks were hammered in too tightly, causing the tongue and groove to break - in every room of my home. They stated that the entire flooring needed to be replaced again. They took detailed photographs and promised to send their findings to Express Flooring. After over a week or repeatedly calling and texting, a manager from Express Flooring came and agreed with the subcontractor's findings. He asked for 3 business days to figure out how to proceed. That timeframe is well past; he will not return calls or text messages. read more

What a horrible experience with the consultant who came to our home. First of all, 3 bedrooms and closets needing the carpet removed and replaced with vinyl plank shouldn't cost $16,000!! Of course, if we agreed to the job immediately, it would bring it down to $14,000. Still too high (especially considering that our son had his entire home demoed, carpeted and tiled with another company for $13,000). Also bear in mind that the price is 75% off as advertised on their website and flyer. Suspiciously this guy claimed that he could catch "his guys" off contract and have them do the labor work independently so he made a phone call and miraculously brought the price down to $9,870!!! Too suspicious that you can start at 16k to 14k and now almost 10k. When we resisted and claimed it was too much and that we were leery of the manner in which the price can drop so much he became even more rude and made rude and inappropriate comments to us. When we said we needed a day to decide, he asked us what difference a day would make to which I replied that at least it would give us time to discuss the big expense. I told him I was uncomfortable and felt pressured like we have felt in the past when purchasing a vehicle. He became worse as far as rude and angry. He walked out of our home leaving the front door hanging open. True to what we've heard about Express Flooring, they use shyster tactics, are way overpriced and appear completely dishonest. UPDATE: First, I want to clarify that my floor was installed in March of 2023. Between the installation and January of 2025, for reasons outside of my control, my home was occupied for probably a total of five months. EF has repeatedly advised me that they feel too much time went by before I brought the problem to their attention. The warranty on the installation was for a period of two years and I filed my claim in January of 2025. Regardless of whether I filed the claim in the second month or the 22nd month of the warranty, I believe they are obligated to honor the terms of their contract. Obviously, the floor became dusty during the unoccupied months, but it was not "lived on" due to the house being empty. I don't feel there is a legitimate argument that the problem was made worse because of the amount of time that has gone by. After I published my negative review, I received two phone calls from two different EF representatives. An appointment was made for the EF Quality Assurance rep who originally inspected my floor at the beginning of February 2025 to come and clean it on a Thursday. Both EF representatives advised they would call and follow up with me on Friday. The EF representative arrived promptly at noon and seemed surprised that most of my furniture had been moved out of the room, which made me question if he was going to be cleaning the entire floor. I will say that he worked very hard on the floor, but after approximately 4 hours, he was only able to remove the adhesive from about one-fourth of the floor. I think EF underestimated what it was going to take to remove the adhesive. I understood that the QA Rep had another customer obligation on Friday and could not return. He advised he would text me with another cleaning date. I heard nothing on Friday. I did not receive any follow-up calls from either EF representative and I did not receive a text with a new cleaning date. I was left hanging once again. On Friday evening, I decided to schedule an appointment with a professional floor cleaning service for Monday afternoon. On Monday morning, I received a text from Express Flooring advising me my next appointment would be on Wednesday from 1 to 3. On Monday afternoon, the professional floor service arrived and after inspecting the floor advised me that they would not touch it. The chemicals that they would need to use to remove the adhesive would ruin the floor. They recommended I continue to try to work with the original installer. Obviously, I was disappointed. I also decided that the frustration and aggravation of trying to work with EF just wasn't worth it. After two months of numerous attempts to have the issue addressed, they finally wore me down and I decided I was done and I put my home back in order. I advised EF that I wanted to cancel the appointment and I did decline/refuse any further visits and/or service from Express Flooring. I did ask for a refund and they are unwilling to give me one. They have expressed a willingness to continue to work with me, but I am no longer willing to work with them. Once again, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Express Flooring to do your homework before you sign an agreement. Take the time to read all of the reviews that have been posted by their customers. Granted there are many positive ones; but there are just as many (if not more) negative reviews from unhappy and regretful customers. read more

An unending nightmare. In September 2023 I was sold flooring and told that the flooring would be practically indestructible, promised transition pieces from carpeted areas to the new flooring, and was told the flooring would slide in under the baseboards so they would not need to be removed.... the contractors that came into my house had a very different story. The flooring is delicate and should not be cleaned with anything stronger than vinegar and water, no transition pieces were on the order, and the baseboards needed to come off. They broke the baseboards, damaged the walls, lost little pieces, stole bottled drinks off my counter, left razor blades on my cat tree, broke the handle off an antique trunk, broke two shelving units, left furniture outside, broke my bathroom door knob, ruined my mop, used a food storage container to store their hardware, failed to turn back on the water to the washer...they lied about there being no left over tiles, they lied trying to say the little pieces of baseboard never existed. It has been horrible trying to get anything done with them. I wasted a whole day waiting for someone to show to fix some of the damages but they never came. Last week February 7 2024 someone finally showed up, they put in the transition pieces and hid the missing and broken baseboards in a layer of caulk. Today someone finally called me about restitution for the broken and stolen items, they bullied me about the antique trunk and take no responsibility for that. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!! On install day I was called and told installers would be at my house between 10-12, installers showed up at 2:30. I did not receive a call about update or customer considerations. Next I called for install repair as they laid the cable line on top of padding. Was not called for install time on repair day as promised when scheduled. Had to call to find out. Was told by CS that management were busy and someone would call me back in 30, it's been 2 hours and no call. They really pushed to get my business, but customer service is HORRENDOUS!! read more
