I hired Gibb 2017-18 and echo the same comments another reviewer stated that GIBB is:…read more'unresponsive, unmotivated, unaggressive. He has no paralegals or other staff so it's just him'. I go on to add my own experience with Gibb as follows: Gibb was always late for our scheduled meetings as he was never in his office (and drove from home the days he was to meet me). He showed up in flip-flop thongs with no socks, shorts and T-shirts. GIBB was very slow in putting his thoughts together throughout my case, and had trouble constructing and writing letters to other attorneys. He needed from another attorney (of which I didn't agree to pay for that time Gibb spent with him). Gibb kept needing his help and input and Gibb was charging me to consult with that attorney!). I told him I wouldn't agree to pay for that portion but he charges me anyhow. Gibb's office was a huge mess (which concerned me) and the case took a lot longer than it should of and Gibb led me to believe it would an easy case and a lot cheaper to hire him . GIBB overcharged me, admitted to it in a phone call and PROMISED to refund me a very small amount money. This was months ago. Although I believe he owes me more money, I agreed to his offer. Gibb promised to pay .. but never sent me the check. For approx 8 years, there was a gofundme online asking people to donate to help the GIBB BABIES of which I believe was very Tacky, especially to benefit an Attorney's family (his!). Gibb first told me he knew nothing about it, but then back tracked and said his neighbor put it up. The fund raised $1,600.00, I have all the screen shots. Did his donors get a special rate from Gibb to do their legal work? Gibb lectured me how the medical bills for his "babies" were $9,000,000.00 (9 Million Dollars) in an uppity tone (as I had a triple neck fusion, at the same time and never once did he comment on my condition or the financial bind I was in). And, I did NOT have a gofundme account for my situation, but there was one for his! Had I known that at the time, I would of never hired/trusted him! I was wrong to believe in him and should of gone elsewhere. Gibb offered me in a phone call, to refund a very small portion that he overbilled me but he never sent the check. Don't make the same mistake I did.... I should of reported Gibb when I had the chance. If I were you, I'd go elsewhere!

Dealing with him was easy and he took care of all the hard work. He even sent people to my house to take pictures. I loved working with him.

He was so sneaky he couldn't even tell me he was dropping my case I found out by the judge in the judge reamed him. But yes he is no good, he said that he was getting a position for a non-profit but yet he still has his law firm open but dropped my case after I paid in full. He was sneaky I had no idea that on the receipt it said retainer. I sent my mom to pay the fee otherwise I would have noticed real quick. My mom's in an elderly woman so they took advantage of her. In my conversations with him that is the price he gave me and that is what I paid him and he gave me no refund well I guess if you call $120 a refund then go on and do that. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone because he is lazy he didn't want to do the work and so he took my money and ran. Stay away from him and I'm trying to find the non-profit that he works for but I can't so I think he was full of crap. All I see when I Google his name is that he has a private practice he's a sneaky sneaky snake!

If you are ok with being sick to your stomach and full of worry and doubt, then hire anybody else. I left Utah in 2015 for personal reasons, leaving behind my little girl. I wound up in Long Island, NY. My daughter came to visit for the summer, we just bought our dream house, have great jobs, were about to get engaged, and were already planning a fall wedding. We had a lot on our plate. Then, my daughter informed me, that her living situation at home was less than ideal. Frankly, it was dangerous, neglectful, and irresponsible. I told her "they'll have to throw me in jail before you ever go back there". A friend of mine who works for DCFS in Ogden gave me one recommendation. My wife's uncle who is a big shot attorney in NYC did his research, also giving me one recommendation. That Jason Richards is the best of the best! I was told "he's a bulldog in the courtroom". So that's what I did. I explained my situation, and knowing how challenging it would be for a father to gain custody across State lines, he gladly accepted the task. From the get go I was expertly guided through the labyrinth of procedures that we would have to go through. He conveyed his opinions effectively, while ultimately allowing me autonomy to go in the direction I wish. I took all of his suggestions, the best thing I've possibly ever done. Ultimately it took us about 9 months, several flights from NY and back, and a lot of digging, but we won! We won in a landslide because Jason IS a bulldog in the courtroom! The way he prepared and executed was one of pinpoint precision. He was always steps ahead of the opposition, prepared to counter in ways that literally left them without a rebuttal. He was there to answer any questions I had at literally any time of day. He made a situation which could be extremely frustrating, exhausting, and at times overwhelming, as peaceful as a massage Oceanside while on vacation in the Bahamas! Jason not only was my representation, but at this point I consider him to be my friend. An extension of my family. Again, I cannot stress enough, JASON IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST ATTORNEY YOU COULD POSSIBLY ASK FOR, stop questioning yourself and hire him. It'll be the best decision you've ever made for you and your family.
