Justin Berube and his law firm has a reputation for extending services to manipulate his clients in the Ogden area when speaking with many other legal professionals. Justin will do everything he can to extend and draw out services to line his pocket and extract more money from his clients. When Justin was unavailable, Kaden Bickmore filled in and was the most incompetent attorney I have ever delt with. He extended the process significantly longer than needed showing his lack of ability to handle the case and run up legal fees. As for Justin, he will lie, cheat and manipulate the law to get his way in court. Definitely unprofessional and highly unethical. Run away and do not look back!!!!!!! In Response to Mr Berube, the reputation is still the same. If he was ethical, there would be no need for this review and would have acted respectful. In the legal profession and my litigation against him, and like I said, other attorneys in the area are extremely disappointed with the way he fleeces his clients and drags out cases only for the benefit of his own gain. If he had done his job, he would have actually been available when it was time to show up. The facts remain that he is definitely not honest in his dealing and lied to the courts in every single court document. I really liked Brody at first he was with Farr Cragun and Berube my case went over a year and a half.. He told me it should only go for a couple of months and it was an easy win. And I could get attorney fees back too. He left in 2024 to his new law firm he's working at now. I got a new attorney instead of the case going with him. They defended the other party and threw the case. It cost me several thousand around $12 to 15 thousand the attorney office told me to put it into insurance and have the hoa take care of it now. The hoa is saying there putting the owner now on the board and hasn't even fixed their leak. And since it went that way they put it on my insurance for over $17,000 instead of the other parties insurance like it should be. I know Farr Cragun and Berube are not good attorneys I think I would have had better luck with Brody. There is no other attorney that I would have rather had representing me as I worked through my divorce than Justin Berube. My ex-wife surprised me with a divorce filing and we both felt that we would be able to work through the divorce process together. It wasn't long before things took a turn for the worse and the divorce turned nasty faster than I could have ever thought. The months that followed are among the darkest and most emotionally crippling of my life. I retained Justin Berube as my attorney for my custody case if February of 2016. There were a few charges that did not apply to our contract during his employment. Small charges. The first charge the office agreed and deducted, the second charge was based on an attempt to contact Justin by phone, and was returned with a phone call from his new paralegal to see if there was something she could assist with. I told her no, I called to speak with my attorney. I was charged by Justin $10 for the attempt. Justin justified the charge as an attempt to move my case along. I disagreed but would pay the frivolous charge anyways. A short time later I received notice from Mr. Berube that he would be withdrawing from my case. He stated, "If I go to my doctor and they give me a test result that shows me positive for cancer and I don't like the results-do I get to tell them I don't like how you did the test, I don't like the result so I'm not paying or seek to haggle on the price? The used analogy by Mr. Berube had absolute no reference or relevance to the situation. Mr. Berube interpreted my dispute as questioning the integrity of his office. I questioned the charge because I thought it was unfair. Clearly he runs a business where he believes all charges are justified and his clients don't retain the right to question reasoning behind them. I invested a lot of time and money into Mr. Berube with very little in return. His false interpretations clearly took priority over his client and the child he was hired to defend. Hopefully you can seek legal representation elsewhere and find an attorney that cares more about his clients then he does about a dollar. read more

This guy is dishonest. He promises one thing and does another. For 3 years this guy helped me with divorce custody and each and every time we went to court the cost was between 400.00 and 800.00 The most my bill ever was was 1800.00 At one point I brought him 2000.00 in which gave me a credit. He burnt through that and told me we needed to go to court for the divorce. I told him that I did not have more money to keep throwing at this case. we spent 20 minutes in court where he made an agreement with the other layer that my ex would not have to pay any child support, day care, medical care or anything since she was "UNABLE" I left that day unhappy and angry. Two weeks later I was billed 11,867.63. FOR 20 MINUTES in court. I called his office to speak with him regarding this he never retuirned my calls, I wrote him a note. He never responded, I came by, he was never available. I said I was not paying it until I could speak to him about this. They sent me to collections got a judgement on me and have tried to garnish me. I used him for 3 years and always paid my bill. I pay my bills.. We could have worked this out.
