Some of the dresses can be made to order but others you can take home day of. Abby was very helpful and patient with me during the whole experience and even ran up the stairs to help me take a picture with a cathedral veil from above. And she definitely had me clipped into those dresses very securely which I appreciated! There isn't a huge selection but there is a good variety! From what I understood Marianne has started her own line as well so dresses from that line are a little more modern than the others. They have the dresses organized by silhouette and you can go through and pick the ones you want to try on and afterwards the attendant can recommend dresses to you based on the ones that you picked too in case you missed anything! The prices seemed to range but nothing was over $2500 that I saw!

She was very encouraging and gave me so much helpful advice along the way. She was also super fun to work with and made the experience awesome. I didn't catch her name, but another attendant ended up overhearing what I was looking for and happened to find the perfect dress at the very end of my appointment. I felt so comfortable in it and also very excited - which I hadn't found yet in a dress! I thought they had an awesome selection of dresses and I tried on multiple that I really loved - which is more than larger bridal stores I've been to where I didn't find any that I loved! Marianne also had me try on some veils and I totally changed my mind about veil length - which was super helpful and got me excited. It was also great to get the dress at a discounted price and get to go home with it that day. Overall - would very much recommend!

The stock throughout their stores is way too varied and inconsistent and in general, their stores all are completely different. This one is honestly not that bad, and rather large for that matter. Doesn't have the three stories like Natick, but then again, it's also not 100 degrees in this store (the air conditioning actually works!) like it is in Natick. Then again though, it doesn't seem to anticipate a high rate of change, but since the Natick location is closing, this store may become somewhat busier; because in the current state, I'm nervous of another closure! The store is vast and has a wide selection in every department I was in. Prices are high for some things, but if something is on clearance or on sale, you can normally find things for prices like Marshalls or TJ Maxx sometimes. The staff are friendly and even with the lack of people shopping find those who are to help, and even still seem energetic and friendly at checkout (this would be the most boring job.... waiting all day to have just a few customers check out....). Lots of parking, and it's near other stores (in the Solomon Pond Mall) which is useful if you want to check other places before buying things here or vice versa. Convenient and never busy in general (the mall). 3 stars for the Marlborough JC Penney.

My mother wanted to purchase a pair of sneakers for her grandson's 4th birthday. A sales associate assisted her and found her a pair the correct size. The sales associate gave them to my mother without a box. At the check out, the manager preceded to berate my mother for not having the sneakers in a box. Even after being told repeatedly that her sales associate was the one who gave them to my mother like that. And my mother doesn't work here and wouldn't know whether she needed a box or not. The manager, Carla, continued to berate and disrespect my mother throughout the entire interaction. It was absolutely disgusting behavior and an unacceptable way to speak to anyone.

The girl at the front desk was dry and dull. She did not even greet us when we got there. When we were checking out my mom asked a question and she kind of rolled her eyes a bit. Odd behavior. HOWEVER- the girls helping in the fitting rooms were amazing! They found us dresses when we described what we were looking for and they helped zip some up for us. They had great personalities and I could tell they enjoyed their jobs! Huge thank you to them! Not going to lie- we almost walked out within the first five minutes just from the girl at the front desk.
