A second installer had to come out to rectify 'deficiencies' in the first installer's work. As part of the 'job', I also requested that they install a gas line to a stove and BBQ on the same day as the AC install to minimize my time off work. No one showed-up to complete the gas line work, but I later found it was included in my AC install invoice. After multiple calls, they finally came out to install the gas lines, however, their work DID NOT pass the City inspection and I am still waiting for a callback on how they are going to correct the installation. They probably have the have the worst customer service I have ever experience as every contact requires a 'call back' that you rarely receive. Using ROMANIUK has cost me multiple lost work days due to their incompetence and dysfunction.

There started the heated disagreement over everything. I told them that they could take everything back and I'm taking my business elsewhere. I refuse to be treated horribly and worse no one returning any calls. I hate to believe that it's because I'm a woman but that's the vibe that was laid out and they way I felt. I am over trying to get this company to finish my installation. It's been a month and I have yet to get my AC installed. I have never had this many issues with one company even when renovating by entire duplex with 5 different contractors! This is how it all started: April 18 I was told that the two furnaces and AC would be installed. Then get a call the day before that the electrical panel would need a sub panel. I knew there was room and had to get their electrican to come out to look on a Friday at 7 pm and tell me that yes there is room he just moved a few things around. Come April 18 the basement furnace was installed the next day a crew was too come out and do the upstairs furnace NO ONE showed up! So I get rescheduled for 2 weeks out. Two weeks out Tim comes to install the upstairs furnace. Right when he comes in he has the attitude that he doesn't want to be there. He's shown the job and complains, sighs, rolls his eyes and is rude. I kicked him out of my house and off the job. Speak to Walter the manager on the phone this this isn't acceptable and then find out Tim was not sent home but out to a different job where he was kicked out by another home owner!!! Now two more weeks go by and another crew comes Darrien and his partner are great. The issue comes when they turn on the furnace. I wanted to have all the piping out the roof and they didn't want to do this so I said fine if you can not go up like if there is absolutely no way go out the back. They didn't even try to go out the roof they are straight away out the back. When the furnace is on the venting out the back is so loud near my bedroom window!!!! The new furnace is louder then my old one and creates this irritating loud humming that vibrates the wall. We were especially specific that this furnace needed to be quiet as it's beside the bedroom. So now this isn't going to work. Then they were finished at 1 and didn't have the time to install the AC? After being messed around this much this job should have been a priority and it's clearly not. I called Romaniuk three times to book yet again for another day for the AC installation and NO ONE called me back! I had to have the installers call the manager to book me in for Tuesday otherwise I'd be waiting another 2 weeks. I'm honestly at the point of you can take both your furnaces back and I'll call someone who actually cares about their customers. I'm tired of being lied to, ignored and rescheduled. This is the last straw. If this isn't resolved and fixed by Tuesday I'm starting a BBB complaint.

Payed his invoice just to get him off our backs. Ended up hiring another plumber to do the work, and payed the same amount for the same work he didn't do! I am all for paying for work. I believe that everyone needs to make a living and paid a fair wage for what is due. We had asked Sean to come install a sump on July 5th at 5pm. He said he would come the next day, which he did at 5pm on July 6th, dropped off a black bucket the size of a garbage can and left - was at our house for less than 1 minute. We had another tradesman over at the time who found a sump hiding under our linoleum. I contacted Sean right away, and told him that we no longer needed his service. we ended up receiving an invoice for $339 for the 1 minute stop to drop off of the bucket. I messaged Sean back and forth for a long time trying to explain that I was very much willing to pay a dispatch fee, as Sean did come out to drop off some materials (the bucket), and we didn't end up using his service. However Sean insisted that he performed work is worth over $400. We later discovered that our sump wasn't working and asked another plumber to come and do a switch for us. The other plumber came and spent more than two hours to install and check everything over, supplied the pump and charged us $305 for the whole thing! I had talked to him about this situation with Sean, and planet plumbing. And our plumber said that for such a routine installation - sump pump, new or switch outs, the material list, prep work is very routine, all plumbers should have a template of what is required, and there is not much new or figuring out required if he is experienced and knows what he is doing, hence the invoice should not be more than a dispatch fee. At the end of the day, we just felt very hurt and deceived. so be cautious if choosing to use this contractor.
