they suck. drivers don't drive as safe as they should and they tell you the taxi will be there 10-12 minutes and taxi never shows up.

On Friday 9/23/22 at approximately 930am the driver of # 6 Express Van entered Route 9 without looking at the direct oncoming traffic. I beeped him to express my surprise where he started blowing his horn and cursing. I was pissed also and returned his gestures. If this is the quality of drivers you have - you'll be out of business or sued for causing an accident. Good luck. read more

Absolutely erratic drivers. I was driving through Freehold at 7:40 AM and a driver with license plate OT2634 almost crashed into me as he was aggressively trying to pass me in a lane that was ending. You should be ashamed of yourself for hiring such incompetent drivers. This is a regular occurrence as I drive to work every morning. read more

Don't use this service at all. The dispatcher raises the rates almost daily. One day you will be paying $25 for a fare and the next night at the same time he quotes you a price of $40 for the same distance. The drivers all need to be drug tested since a few of them are on Xanax or some other drug and they are driving under the influence. This business needs to be investigated and shut down permanently!!!!! read more

What a Racket! I called Express Taxi for a 1/2 mile ride to the Freehold Courthouse to attend a very distressing hearing and was preoccupied with it. I was told the fare would $5.00 and I was charged $20.00. Being distressed, wheelchair bound, not knowing where I was going, and the driver being argumentive with his earphones blasting, I paid the "arbitrary tip" the driver decided on for himself rather than risk being late. Now, I'm not preoccupied and I agree with Amanda's assessment. I called for a return trip at 3:45 P.M. and was told the driver would be there in ten minutes. After being lied to time and again by the rude, and abrupt dispatcher about being on the way and 2 hours later they informed me that they "were too busy to pick me up and it would be at least 2 hours" before they could get to me, so the Sheriff's Dept. called Elite Taxi who was there in minutes and I finally got home promptly was charged $5.00 only. I was going to write to Express Taxi about this and decided against it judging from the other reviews and realizing this is "just business as usual" with them so that would be an exercise in futility. I not only had to sit in a court hearing for hours, then wait an additional 2 1/2 hours plus to get home at 6:15 and in low blood sugars as I'm Diabetic, which they knew about but just didn't care as the money is more important. I even called Express a week in advance to make prior arrangements so there would be no hassles. The law of "supply and demand" applies here folks, so dry up their supply and then we'll see what their demands are then. The dispatcher is completely rude. Both of them. They hang up on you before you were done talkin and when they make a mistake they get mad at you like it's your fault. They leave you before you can even get out the door when you try to tell them to pick you up at a certain point but they don't hear you because they hung up on you. They're Vans are completely unsafe without seat belts. I always bring my child's car seat and there's no seat belt to latch it to. What am I supposed to do just leave the seat belt on hooked? There is absolutely no seatbelt. All the check engine lights are on the brake lights are on there's no air conditioning in these Vans the doors don't stay open they shut on your legs they are highly dangerous I don't know how they even have a permit to run. This company needs to be put out of business! The "owner" does not know a thing about customer service, respect or decency. The driver my mother had tonight was rude, abusive, unprofessional and not fit to be working with the public. My mother was a victim of elder abuse. She is handicapped and has a heart condition. The woman did not attempt to open the door help my mother with her walker or any of her packages. The woman at the end of the ride also almost drove off without my mom getting to close the door. When I called and I spoke to someone who claim to be the owner, I was told you were not getting a refund this is not ShopRite or food town with a customer is always right.My family has been notified and we are reporting them to the bed is their BBB, Dept. of labor,The Taxi coalition, the department of health and human services... As well as all the local news station News 12, CBS, NBC, ABC.The woman that answers the phone is also extremely obnoxious, rude, ignorant, and not very well educated. She claims to be under age. In looking at the reviews I should have known better. Always, giving a company the benefit of the doubt. Well, in our experience has not been a great one. On a typical business day. I watched the taxi driver pass Up and down the road. Then i called the EXPRESS TAXI Company to express what was the dilemma. I explained to driver that I needed to get to my destination as he sat still...not moving in the driveway trying to make me late. I asked if he could drop me off because the Express taxi stated they would pick up in 10 minutes....not 45 minutes later. I told my husband Parwinder I needed him to wait with the taxi. One star is too much for this company!! They give you a rate when you call and when you are in the middle of the ride, they call the driver and change de rate for a higher price!! That happened to my mother and when I called to complain the dispatcher/costumer service/Owner started to yell at me. She hang up 3 times when I was trying to reason with her.
