Over the years, my sorority sisters and I have used her Uber services and I hired her to pick up my sorority sister at the HSV airport to drop her off at her Daddy's house where she was staying because it was such a late flight. I felt 1000% confident and peace of mind that Miss Eunice [as she always does!] would be the best, safest bet to transport this "Precious Cargo" to her Daddy's house. She is incredibly responsive, loves the Lord and walks in His ways, is *always* on time, beyond pleasant, and just an all-around joy! I've been in a lot of cabs in my day, ya'll! I've had plenty of less than stellar experiences both locally [shady characters, crappy vehicles, and *not* on time] and while TDY [I'm looking at you DC cabbies!!] Rest assured you are in the BEST of hands with sweet Miss Eunice, she has not only raised the bar for providing transportation, she has vastly exceeded the bar in each and every respect! I was told 20 minutes, and after an hour, I called back - they said they were on their way. 25 minutes later (Kroger had long closed), I called three times - no answer (they must have Caller ID). Since they wouldn't answer my cell, I launched my Xfinity phone app and called again from my home number - Gotcha! - they hung up, twice. After one and a half hours of waiting in near freezing weather, the driver finally showed. He was apologetic, and I didn't take it out on him, I knew it wasn't the driver's fault - so I tipped nearly 100% - the last penny they'll ever see from me.

Huntsville is not a big city, and from looking at the driver logs when I was picked up a number of times this past weekend, they weren't all that populated, so I have a hard time understanding why it takes 30+ minutes between calling for a cab, and calling for a cab, and eventually getting a cab. It's ironic from my viewpoint to be picked up in a pink taxi supporting breast cancer and the taxi and driver both reek of cigarette smoke. While I am not a super fan of UberX, it's this kind of disruptive business model that will either force cab companies in Huntsville to get their act together, or watch them fold operations altogether. I can't see them effectively competing with Uber from what I've seen this weekend and in the long run, the consumer will be real winner here.

He approaches his business, which is that once he has the pick up location and drop off location he gives you a written estimate, which you approve, and then send him the pre-payment just like an Uber. After that, I got a picture of the car that was picking up my godson which I passed on to him. The whole process was quite seamless. Cost was around $68 plus tax tip. I paid around $76 total.
