The van was a little clunky and the low tire pressure light stayed on despite normal air pressure. Price was right, staff were helpful. I would use them again. There was a nicer van available for higher price that I elected not to rent. read more

My boyfriend and I used this business for a car rental in thanksgiving and we were going to use it for a summer trip this year. (About an $900 rental). However when we spoke to the woman on the phone about insurance today she was very condescending and rude and we decided to go to someone else... whoever has better customer service. It may be dismissed but being treated kindly.... respectfully at minimum..... is a big deal to my partner and I. Though especially me. Very disappointed because the experience we had earlier (Thanksgiving) was okay but the way she treated us was unacceptable and we have no desire to support this business any longer. read more

While I was OK at first. First car I bought was great. Paid it off bought another one. The sales people were of course great after you take the car home that is the problem. I was promised the car had a oil change it didn't. A week into owning it the cruise control and the transmission are going out. The inspection promised was not performed prior to purchase. Also there was a oblivious undisclosed accident. Update. I received a call from the owner I believe and he really did make things right. He was super nice about things and made sure to handle everything that I was frustrated with care and really made it seem like he cared about my specific situation. While many companies have others handle their issue this was handled direct so I knew things would get done. Thank you Mr McCurry you have made me feel a ton better about my purchase. I had a very professional and helpful experience buying a vehicle at the Athens car lot. Everyone that uses a buy here- pay here dealership has some kind of credit issue. So, yes you are going to pay more for your car. However, I did check other businesses and McCurry was the most reasonable in price, the best cars and didn't add all kinds of fees to make the buying experience hurt. I dealt with Tim, who was caring, knowledgeable and did all he could to get me in the car I wanted. The terms of payment and length of the loan and whether I would be burdened by the amount was his priority - not just selling a car. Management really worked with me and I walked out with a decent vehicle and feeing as if everyone cared. It is my opinion, before you go with another business, give them a try. read more
