Well after getting some fudge we popped in to check it out, and I was pretty much blown away by the sale they were having and I believe this is a fairly ongoing thing. So, I needed a new wardrobe badly and I had this one shirt that I loved dearly by Izod, which was bought out by Van Heusen some years back, and I tried to find more of this shirt. We asked the lady at the counter to check on it, and unfortunately they didn't carry these any longer, but she pointed out some other shirts I might like. So, we meandered around the store and found these polo type shirts. They came in all the main colors and sizes. Very stocked and the shirts were actually really nice. The lady stayed with us and even helped me pick out a color to match me. Heck, I am pale as a ghost and a couple of the shirts looked decent holding them up. She was super nice, easy going, and we laughed about my old outfit and what I wore. My girlfriend is always trying to dress me better. hahaha Ok, ok enough chit chat. Jeanine was her name and she was really, really helpful. I never try on shirts, but being that we were out of town, I decided to. It fit perfectly and felt great and when i came out both my girlfriend and Jeanine thought it looked good on me. It did! So, I decided to buy two shirts, blue and black. I also needed a pair of pants, and they had these super comfy looking casual wear pants and I tried those on, and they actually had my exact size. I have never really found my perfect size before, since i like things baggy and also not too long in length. Well, they had 36 by 29. We bought a Khaki colored pants. Almost everything in the store was 70% off and some items were 80% off. We went back to the hotel and went out to dinner, me wearing my new outfit. I looked good and I felt really comfy, and comfy to me is the most important thing. The prices for the shirts were $11 dollars. I mean seriously! The pants were $16. What a deal. Next day, we were going on a boat tour which found us right near the outlet again, and I thought, what the heck, lets go back and I will complete my casual wardrobe. So we bought two more shirts, and two more pants. All of this cost a little over $100, give or take. It was amazing. On the second day we got to meet both Val and Emily. They helped us out and they were so friendly and we actually took a photo with them and me in the middle for them to upload somewhere on their website. How is that for customer service. I did attach a few photos of the store and them as well. I have never had a better and easier day shopping in my entire life, so this gets 5 stars for the great customer service, the clothes they had in stock that fit me, and the prices. There are a few of these outlets scattered around, but hey, if you ever make it down to Lake Arrowhead, check out this store and in if you need some casual wear, do it. It is such a great deal. Oh yea, I forgot, I also bought two belts (2-PAC) actually that were women's belts. They fit me better than the men's belts and cost a lot less and were super thin, which I like. I can't say enough positive things about this store, so with that, happy shopping! Thank you so much Val and Emily for making our stay there so wonderful.

When we first walked in, my girls were finishing a protein bar "cause they have roaches" and we were asked to step outside while they finished eating, which I completely understood. When we came back in, an employee asked what we were looking for and I mentioned ballerina dolls and tutus. She followed us over to the doll section. My girls immediately recognized the dolls and one of them picked one up and she took it out of her hand. The employee quickly told her "no, no, no" and said she didn't want them to get dirty. It was honestly so upsetting. We came in specifically to purchase those items, and being told my children couldn't even pick one up felt very unwelcoming. We've visited this store before, but after that experience we we'll not be returning.

The canned oxygen was a life saver! My dad had brought a couple bottle for our hike, and I am so thankful that he did! It was literally a game changer/ life saver for the hike! We hit Leroy's Ski & Snowboard Shop afterwards to get more oxygen! It is worth every penny. Especially if you are a "flat-lander" planning on going up the mountain and doing physical exercise (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc). This is a must for anyone with the altitude change. This ski shop has everything you need for outdoor sports/ activities. Any gear you need, you will find here. They sell keychains and other merchandise too.

I walked in and had a strong positive reaction as I'm currently obsessed with all things Yellowstone. I saw many Native American inspired blankets and wardrobe items, which made me feel a certain way. Or rather, a few ways. I was in love with the SUPER soft ponchos for $79 that are colorful, cozy & comfortable. A fair price for such a unique piece of outerwear. But I am struggling with whether the Native American styled items are crossing the line into cultural appropriation. I'm much more sensitive to how indigenous peoples feel about white people profiting off of their cultural artistry, and I am unsure if this would be resented if I were to wear these clothes. I am actually going to explore this with indigenous friends and acquaintances to get their take on this. I am hoping that it is not offensive, because I'm dying to wrap myself up in one of those gorgeous ponchos.

This trip turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and scenic spots in the area especially this time I got to feed the ducks!!! For just $1, you can buy a brown bag of duck feed and toss them into the village. It was fun to see ducks and fish as well eating the food pellets. This village sits right along the lake, and the views of the water surrounded by pine trees and mountains are absolutely beautiful--perfect for photos or just relaxing while walking around. I espeically love the clean air and peaceful tranquility this place brings to me. The village is filled with charming and tourist-friendly shops that are fun to browse. A few standout stores included Big On Bears Lake Arrowhead for souvenirs and apparel, Coach for outlet shopping which I was able to grab a few trinkets and wallets for friends and family members, and Village Ice Cream and Sweet Shoppe for a sweet treat while strolling by the lake. All of these stores staff were quite friendly and helpful. The variety of boutiques, gift shops, and snack spots made it easy to spend a few hours just exploring and since it was low key, it made window shopping and browsing just as fun! They also have a McD and a Jersey Mike's if you just want a quick snack! Overall, Lake Arrowhead Village is a charming mountain destination that I like to visit. Just have to get past the long winding road up the mountains and not get too scared as a passenger looking down at the views. If you go slow you don't think of the scary and winding driving up the mountains. Parking was fairly convenient, with both a main lot and a parking structure available for visitors. Highly recommend for visitors as well as locals for a weekend getaway.

Plus there's a lot of stores coming in and some of them are pretty remarkable. THEY STILL HAVE THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, BUT IT'S NOT ON THE STAGE THAT IT USED TO BE. IT'S DOWN TOWARDS THE LAKE NOW.
