Cute little shopping area and sightseeing area. It was just too hot in July but I am sure the rest of the year it is fantastic. It definitely is the star attraction for the area, with shopping, boat rides, ducks, and other things to do. There are 4 or 5 levels, with plenty of stairs and some elevators. There are some great spots to take photos too. There is a grocery store, CVS, and McDonalds among several other businesses. There is a visitor center, which has all kinds of helpful information, maps, and you can get a day pass for certain nearby activities. There seems to be a lot of parking, but when it is packed, it is not enough and the spots are ridiculously small. Enjoy the photos. read more

This little village was probably our favorite part about this little trip me and my husband had. It was so nice to walk around and also have our pup with us. We fed the ducks. There's some stores that seek the duck food only for a $1.00 thought it was such a good deal and something fun to do. I sure do like visiting Lake Arrowhead Village! I come back here every few years to get away from the city life and enjoy some peaceful time with nature and low key touristy shopping. This trip turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and scenic spots in the area especially this time I got to feed the ducks!!! For just $1, you can buy a brown bag of duck feed and toss them into the village. It was fun to see ducks and fish as well eating the food pellets. This village sits right along the lake, and the views of the water surrounded by pine trees and mountains are absolutely beautiful--perfect for photos or just relaxing while walking around. I espeically love the clean air and peaceful tranquility this place brings to me. The village is filled with charming and tourist-friendly shops that are fun to browse. A few standout stores included Big On Bears Lake Arrowhead for souvenirs and apparel, Coach for outlet shopping which I was able to grab a few trinkets and wallets for friends and family members, and Village Ice Cream and Sweet Shoppe for a sweet treat while strolling by the lake. All of these stores staff were quite friendly and helpful. The variety of boutiques, gift shops, and snack spots made it easy to spend a few hours just exploring and since it was low key, it made window shopping and browsing just as fun! They also have a McD and a Jersey Mike's if you just want a quick snack! Overall, Lake Arrowhead Village is a charming mountain destination that I like to visit. Just have to get past the long winding road up the mountains and not get too scared as a passenger looking down at the views. If you go slow you don't think of the scary and winding driving up the mountains. Parking was fairly convenient, with both a main lot and a parking structure available for visitors. Highly recommend for visitors as well as locals for a weekend getaway. read more

The Lake Arrowhead Village is only getting better lately since they have new owners who care a lot more about the property. The whole center of the village is now done with FIRE places so you can enjoy a fire while you sit down and it's just so much nicer than it used to be. Plus there's a lot of stores coming in and some of them are pretty remarkable. THEY STILL HAVE THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, BUT IT'S NOT ON THE STAGE THAT IT USED TO BE. Lake Arrowhead Village is a small quaint shopping plaza surrounded by restaurants, stores, gift shops, and small arcade located inside a pizza joint. Love how it doesn't get overly crowded. Very relaxing atmosphere overlooking Lake Arrowhead. You can enjoy peaceful setting dining at one of the restaurants soaking in the beautiful views. Everyone are so friendly welcoming guests into their establishments. My kids and I enjoyed feeding the ducks and fishes swimming in the lake. I have to add, it was nice to eat at McDonald's because it had the best view we encountered at a fast food chain. Lake Arrowhead Village is a quaint shopping district right near the main area of the lake. The village consists of various shops including cafés, retail stores, gifts & souvenirs, restaurants, and a market. In addition, there are weekly concerts held and performed by local musicians. There is plenty of parking and if you walk further in, you'll be able to get a beautiful view of the main lake and partake in a must-need photo opportunity. On our last day in Lake Arrowhead, my husband and I wanted to walk around and explore the village. The area is also pet-friendly, so we took the cat backpack with our cat inside. The most pathetic interpretation of luxurious, quirky or even decent. The restaurants are mid at best. Also, their norm is for last call at 8pm, if they're not closing even earlier at 5pm. The elevator to go up from shopping to the pizza place / CVS / stater is broken. Most of the retail storefronts are vacant. Embarrassing. The owners of this village do NOT care about it. Lake Arrowhead Village sits at the rim of the lake and that in itself provides a great view and ambiance any time of the year. This past trip, I was fortunate to be staying close by that I could walk over to the Village from my Inn. The cool weather and sunshine made my stroll simply PERFECT. The guy who acts as initial security for concert series is doing too much. Instead of checking bags for alcohol or any other substances he stopped a 4 year old & 6 year old to dump waters while adult guests entered without checking any bags. He didn't check my bag either!! Lake Arrowhead Village holds a special place in my heart since I grew up in the area. It has always been a charming place to walk around, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the lake views. Right now, it is under heavy construction, and while that makes it a little less enjoyable to visit, it looks like the upgrades will be worth the wait. I would probably stay away until the work is finished, but once everything is complete, I think it is going to look amazing. This is one of the main areas to hang out in Lake Arrowhead. You can walk around the lake, eat, and shop. I can't see myself getting actual shopping done here but it was nice to window shop and look at all of the knick knacks. Some of the stores have closed down over the years so they sit vacant. There is a parking lot and parking garage. We came on a Friday around noon and it was packed. We managed to find a spot in the garage after circling around for a bit. The spaces are very small. I wouldn't recommend bringing a big truck or SUV. *Also, multiple stores sell duck food for $1 to feed the ducks in the lake. read more

Sadly, this area has gone downhill. I used to love going to Lake Arrowhead and visiting the village with my family. However, it's a ghost town now. What used to be packed with people, is now empty. There used to be tons of stores and food options, but many have closed down. When you walk down the village, you will see where businesses used to be. They went out of business and closed. The best way I can describe the vibe now is "drought." The food quality in the village has declined as well. Overall, it's just not worth the time and money to come up the mountain anymore. The value just isn't there; prices are high, for mediocre food. The food selection and shopping are limited on the mountain. Service is hit or miss. read more

We love it here so much, we have been coming here since we were much younger than now lol. But we drove up and had friends following us and met friends later. But we spent the day here, wow what a beautifully, cold, super foggy, and rainy day! I loved it, I love the rain lol. It was much colder than we thought but thankfully we had a lot of layers to keep us warm. We walked around took some pictures. They have food and shops. I love this area, it's so cute and even more beautiful when it's gorgeous out! But really didn't mind the gorgeous rain and fog. More fog than we have ever seen here before and driving up was fun lol. Our kids had a great time, our friends two girls have never been to the mountains and since they are moving soon we want to spend as much time with them as possible before they leave. Plus we went up for the day to support our friend who played in a band later in the evening. It was still busy and there was a wedding even going on. I had to sit down cause my body was hurting but we found a cute and perfect spot with chairs and a tent and a stage maybe for the wedding? They even do boat tours when the weather is nice it's beautiful we did it once with family so much history and gorgeous homes and the beautiful lake. We saw some ducks and fish swimming. We had such a wonderful day out today, I can't wait to come back soon. If you never been here before I highly recommend coming here it's so amazing, nature and the lake surrounding you and the beautiful cold breeze and nice walk with cute shops and food. How can you go wrong? Such a nice place for family and friends to come visit. Love it here forever was so nice to finally come up here it's been a few years. Lake Arrowhead Village is the main thing to do here if you're not going to the lake for water activities (swimming, fishing, boating, etc). It's easily accessible from the state highway. There is plenty of parking. They opened up a structure that has four levels. They have so many shops, eateries, offices, etc. They offer access routes to the water even. At the top of the fourth floor where Stater Bros is located, you can get a nice overview of the lake on a clear day. On Saturday nights, they have live concerts with a stage and plenty of seating. read more

For the village itself, I'd agree it sits around a 3 but the lake is a nice view if you come during fall and I'm giving a 4 for the Arrowhead Queen Boat Tour. Captain Jack was awesome at explaining everything and there wasn't a dull moment for a full hour tour. You get a lot of interesting history out of the tour and learn quite a bit on all the famous people who have property in the area. Note I also came during Oktoberfest but the leaves haven't all changed colors so try more in early November if that's what you're here for. The actual festival wasn't that impressive in my opinion so I think skippable. read more

3.4 stars I enjoyed lunching and window-shopping at this Village. However, there were quite a few empty shops and felt it might not be the best for any actual shopping. I did see a Couch Outlet, Pendleton, and Slater Bros. There are a few locals that opened shop selling clothes, fishing/outdoor gear, and other knick knacks. Views can't be beat! I'd recommend coming for the views and a relaxing lunch. Sales tax here is 7.78%, which makes me wish they had more outlet stores like Disney, Kate Spade, REI, Colombia, and etc. read more

The cutest shopping village in Lake Arrowhead. This center is hidden in the trees and its adorable architecture gives off all the German vibes. There's a mix of over 50 shops, including sit down restaurants, a cafe, fast-casual dining concepts, and even some designer stores. You'll also find a grocery store in walking distance! I particularly love the Lakefront Tap House & Kitchen for dining. Their menu is expansive and they offer an ever changing menu of seasonal cocktails. I will forever have heart eyes for their pumpkin spice espresso martini! The entire center sits on the stunning lake, making it the ideal location for any photo opp. I decided to dock a star because a few of the storefronts seemed have very limited hours. Besides this it's an absolute must for a day trip in Southern California! read more

A nice little place to walk around, take pics and admire the view. Some restaurants, ice cream shops, toy stores, a stater bros on the upper side, pizza joint n arcade. Parking seems like a big lot but not enough as I saw many people circling for a spot in the afternoon. There are lots of restrooms and if you go into McDonald, there is a paper with directions listed to the other bathrooms if the line is too long there. Right now there are lots of snow, but please pick up after your dogs ! It's not fun for other people to walk in the white snow and suddenly step into your dogs business that was hidden in it. My most favorite thing about this village was this model train exhibit. If you have 10 minutes to kill, please go to the inland empire model train exhibit! The trains do move, and the miniatures of houses and some famous landmarks/characters are there. It's right across from McDonald's. read more

Lake Arrowhead Village has this really calm but exciting feeling at the same time, and when I visited with someone it surprised me how playful the whole place felt in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot. The mix of the lake right next to the shops, the open walkways, and all the little things to look at made it feel lively without ever feeling overwhelming. I noticed a lot of teenagers hanging out around the center area, taking pictures by the water, walking around with snacks, and just enjoying the atmosphere, and it made perfect sense because the whole village feels like the kind of place where teenagers can relax, explore, and feel creative without spending a lot of money. I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy there until I walked around and saw how many different spots were perfect for photos, especially with the lake and the mountains in the background, and it made the whole experience feel really refreshing. I appreciated how easy it was to take my time there without feeling rushed, and the peacefulness of the lake mixed with the energy of the people around me made it one of the most enjoyable places I've been to in a while. I only visited Lake Arrowhead Village one time in my life before making this review, but it left such a positive impression on me that I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to have fun, take pictures feel connected to a playful environment. read more

Looking for some grubb'n spots and shops? Lake Arrowhead Village is a cute little area full of small shops and eateries ranging from ice cream, waffles, coffee, seafood and much more! It's a good spot to check out for a day trip. You can spend the afternoon here and walk around to check out the area. There's also a boat ferry that will take passengers around the lake as mentioned in other reviews. (Check the website for times). The area is also pet friendly! You'll see many furr babies here (please pick up after your pet too). There's not a whole lot to do here besides eat and shop, but Lake Gregory is minutes away from this area (just to give you an idea if your bored here). This place has a bit of everything, either you want to just stretch out your legs and walk around to take in the beautiful scenery, or really make it into a destination for the day, it's completely up to you. The village has some lake activities you can do in the summer, plenty of restaurants to grab something to eat or drink (with a lake view), outlet stores and even some unique shops. There are a lot of store vacancies right now, I assume due to the pandemic, but there are still plenty of people walking around, enjoying the village. There used to be a small theme park for kids but is no longer there, and the playground is still closed due to Covid. There are also plenty of public restrooms located throughout the village with diaper changing stations. I also have to mention that a lot of the restaurants and shops close early. read more
