We once again ordered a custom arrangement with a bit of a Hawaiian touch for a friend who was born and raised in Hawaii. Many of the flowers of Hawaii that could have been used were simply not available in Oregon during our timeframe. Another supply chain issue of covid. Happy with the results our friend had received last time, we knew Expressions in Bloom would do the best they could, with what they were able to get, as a fitting tropical tribute to our friend's service. They were quite clear as to what flowers would be available and we were happy they were still able to add a Hawaiian touch to our request. They basically had a week to work with as timing was important for our unexpected event. We received a pic of the arrangement and are happy with the final product. Pre-covid, current covid conditions, Expressions came through again. Expressions in Bloom will continue to be our "go to" florist in the Corvallis, Oregon area. Bought two wrist corsages for Mother's Day this past weekend for my wife and mom and they use a cord that has no elasticity that you are supposed to twist or tighten somehow to get them to stay in place. Neither was able to get them to stay on and were not able to use them. The owner called and implied that they work very well and it was simple to tighten them and we should have figured out how to use them or called for guidance. They did not try them on until they received them minutes before we left for church. I have bought one every year for some 44 years now and this is the first experience like this as I did not like the quality nor the owner's implications and lack of concern. I was visiting Corvallis, so this is not a florist I would use nor recommend to anyone. read more

These reviews gotta be fake. After I placed an order I called to make sure they could deliver to a place of business and what time the recipient would be at work. The person I talked to was obviously overseas had no clue about anything. I called again the day of delivery because it was 2pm and she hadn't gotten them yet, she leaves at 3:30pm. Again overseas customer service, made me tell her every single piece of information I already filled out on the website. Had to spell out every single bit multiple times over because she barely spoke English. Finally get the flowers and they are like $25 Walmart flowers. Check the pics!!! What a joke of a company. I particularly like the option of the sunny yellow pitcher instead of the traditional vase. The flowers were beautiful and delivered promptly. I also appreciate the personalized service. I received emails confirming the order, then emails with photos of the arrangements, then emails confirming the deliveries, and an email and phone call acknowledging my note of thanks. There are two major parts to this review, just a heads up as you read. I was in the market to have some flowers sent in January while I was away at a business trip in Texas. I thought it would be a nice way to let the woman I was seeing know that I was thinking about her while I was away. I stopped in the shop two weeks in advance and spoke to the woman that worked there. I looked at the glass case and told her what I liked about one of the arrangements and which vase I liked and that I would like a couple roses added to what was already created and that would be great. She got all of my information and where the flowers needed to be delivered and I was on my way. Those flowers were delivered in the middle of the day and the recipient was delighted! I got an e-mailed picture of the flowers just before they were delivered so I got to see what she received in advance. The flowers looked fantastic and they lasted about a week and half. I thought the delivery fee of $10 was a little high, but overall I was very pleased with how they looked, the value, the delivery, and the professionalism. The woman I was seeing would never have guessed I would give flowers again on Valentine's Day (since it is so close to the date I had the first batch sent), so I thought I would surprise her again. This didn't end nearly as well. I placed the order on Tuesday the 6th. Jonathan called me late that night because he couldn't remember if I wanted them delivered tomorrow (the 7th) or on V-Day. My date overheard the message he left and it ruined the surprise and she knew to expect flowers. The next day I got another picture of the new flowers sent to me and I had to call to cancel and remind them that they were for the following week. Sadly, Valentine's Day came and no flowers were delivered. I called the next day and was told my order was on hold. The woman I spoke to apologized several times and offered to send them right away and beef them up substantially to make up for it and I declined. I told her to just cancel the order. The following week I got another call from Jonathan that my order was still on hold and that I had been charged for the flowers and he wanted to know what I wanted to do about it. We spoke the following day and I explained how this order had been @#$%ed up from the beginning and I wasn't happy I was even charged for flowers that clearly weren't delivered and were goofed up from the get-go. Jonathan was very apologetic and offered to refund my entire amount AND send out complimentary flowers. I declined the latter and just took the refund. However, I thought of someone else in the Eugene area that I needed some flowers for and I called Jonathan back. I asked if they had a sister store in Eugene and he told me no, but they have a company they contract with. I explained that I had an occasion for flowers in Eugene and Jonathan was ready and willing to take care of it for me. They coordinated the flowers being sent and the recipient was very pleased with the arrangement. It absolutely made her day! The first order was fantastic and the 2nd was a disaster, however, Jonathan pulled through and did everything that he could do afterwards to rectify the situation. My personal recommendation is to offer your order about 6 days in advance, especially for popular occasions (like V-Day or Mother's Day) so there is no confusion on the dates and then you can confidently know that you will be taken care of. The next time I need flowers in the Corvallis area, I will be using Expressions in Bloom. read more

I love this florist! From the minute I called them, they were very patient and accomodating! They helped create exactly what I asked for my daughter's 18th birthday! The owner also called me that evening to make sure that the order was correctly taken. Second order in 15 days: It was late Sunday afternoon in Hawaii, and we decided to place an order last minute. I called their 24/7 service, and amazing, they were able to get a beautiful birthday floral arrangement in a coffee mug ready the next day for my daughter's roommate. We chose a mug since it would be smaller and perfect for a dorm! Jonathan, the store owner, called me on Monday morning to let me know what mugs he had and to make sure what I had selected with the 24/7 operator was correct. Bouquet was not of flowers shown! Even the bow was cheap. It was the same as buying supermarket flowers and dumping into a vase without any sort of thought towards arrangement. It was embarrassing for the cost after seeing it at the recipient's residence. Won't order from here again. read more

I am updating this review. The person receiving these flowers thought they were beautiful and was very happy to receive them and that's what mattered most to me. They accommodated a special request. They delivered same day. They were very interested in making me happy and even made some changes for me. I probably shouldn't have asked for too many changes because they did a beautiful job and know what they are doing without my help . Very personable and customer service oriented. We used this florist twice and both times it was a disappointing experience. $80 will get you a bouquet of carnations, mums, sunflowers and things you order will not look like the photos. If you leave a bad review, they hound you until you change it. read more

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Picked an arrangement from their website and paid a little extra to upgrade it. When I received the photo of what went out it was not at all close to what was offered. Considering the amount of money I spent the arrangement didn't meet my expectations. It looked like something I could have picked up at Costco for 1/4 of the cost. Lost my business for sure. I gave two stars strictly due to the customer service. The first time I was in the market for a florist I found Expressions in Bloom. Their service was so amazing, I am happy to say they are the only florist I have ever used. When I was trying to buy my wife a very specific flower bouquet, they spent days searching to find exactly what I was looking for. On the flip side, there have been times when I had no idea what I wanted. I gave them a broad starting point and they have put together masterpieces that far exceeded my expectations. They make it incredibly easy for a person like me that doesn't know much about flowers. And that is the thing I think I appreciate most. I know that I am in good hands when I come in. Another thing worth mentioning. My wife recently graduated college my siblings and I all bought her flowers. The flowers I got her from Expressions lasted several days longer than the flowers my siblings got from the grocery store. And they were about the same price. Just something to think about. I initially found this florist from Yelp, and the good reviews are all correct! I send my parents flowers a few times a year (I am in Los Angeles) and the staff is always so sweet and helpful. They make beautiful arrangements for all occasions and for decent prices. Their delivery staff is also very nice. They will sometimes call me and ask if I would like to send another arrangement for Mother's Day etc, in which of course I do! I received a confirmation right away to my email... then I realized that I had put my state and my zip code rather than my sister's in Corvallis. I never put up reviews though the customer service was so awesome I just have to tell everyone. I ordered an arrangement online for my daughter on Valentine's Day. I received a picture of the arrangement after it was delivered and it was not what I had chosen. It was a dozen red roses and she does not like red roses. I called the store, and even though it was Valentine's Day they created a beautiful bouquet in variations of pink which is her favorite color. They then redelivered and picked up the other bouquet...all on one of the busiest days of the year for a florist. They've been solid in Corvallis for decades in the past. They are stable. Prices have increased, while the quality is roughly the same. The look of arrangements is dated these days, and seems out of sync with more modern design. Think kitsch. There are options in Corvallis, where you get twice the arrangement, for less price. They say they focus on customer service, yet there's less warmth these days. If design and budget are stronger needs than nostalgia, you may have better options. Excellent! I needed to order flowers for a funeral mass. I called Expressions InBloom, not even realizing that it was Valentines Day. In spite of it probably being one of their busiest days, the staff was graciously able to help me. I ordered a "designers choice" arrangement. Truly incredible service and flowers were stunning. My father-in-law landed in the hospital and I called right at closing time. The gentleman who helped me was professional, caring and clearly knew his business well. He helped me to quickly adjust an arrangement to get the color my FIL loves and remove the stargazers that I didn't realize the hospital wouldn't allow. He proacitvely offered and then personally delivered it to the hospital on the way home for the day. When the flowers arrived I was beyond delighted. The arrangement was the caliber that I get in major cities that we have lived in across the globe. My husband and I both commented that we didn't expect to get the art of the arrangement, quality of the flowers and a very unique flower from Hawaii which was gorgeous. I have ordered flowers from both here and Penguin flowers. I will be using expressions in bloom from now on. The arrangement was 5/5. The place gets 4/5 from me because: I requested an 11am delivery, and the flowers were delivered ~1pm, and when I called to check on them the lady/girl on the phone sounded annoyed. I am of the opinion that market value on delivered flowers is way too high, and this florist is no exception.
