We had my daughter's baby shower here. It was so welcoming, beautifully set room with tables ready to sit and enjoy our food and drink, the ladies working were top notch! The lavender earl grey tea was delicious, the strawberry lemonade was the best I've had, we had brownies and shrimp, spinach dip and all set in the sweetest setting. I truly loved every moment. Expressions Tea and Gifts is an unique gift shop and tea room located in Somerset Kentucky. It is operated by Oakwood, a training facility for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The gift shop features handmade crafts that are made by persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Kentucky Crafted foot stools and benches have been made at Oakwood since 1973. In addition, the gift shop carries Kentucky Proud items from small businesses across Kentucky. The tea room at Expressions Tea and Gifts is located inside our unique gift shops.We offer a prix fixe full tea service in a relaxing atmosphere where guests can casually enjoy a special meal. Each tea service offers six savory and sweet items plus two beverages. We also host a number of private tea parties throughout the year. For persons with special dietary needs we can accommodate most requests. We have a Registered Dietician on staff who will work with the Chef and his staff to prepare special meals for diabetic, gluten free, food allergies, etc. Feel free to let us know if you have special dietary needs.

Established in 2009.

Expressions Tea and Gifts has been in its current location since 2014. Expressions Tea and Gifts is a platform to showcase our products that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities make. We also have an elegant Tea Room. All of our products and the Tea Service are an avenue to employ men and ladies with intellectual and development disabilities, which is our primary focus. Making the products provides not only a skill set but also paid employment. Tea Service provides employment so that individuals have the opportunity to work in multiple settings from food preparation, delivery, serving guests and assisting with clean up. Thus, when they are ready for another avenue of employment they have foundational skills to use. Expressions Tea and Gifts aligns perfectly with mission to provide training opportunities in the natural rhythm of life. Working together and learning from each other is the ultimate goal.

It was definitely messy but absolutely worth it. So cheesy, flavorful and filling. Easily one of the best fast food style replica dishes I've had. No shade to Taco Bell but this version is on a whole different level with better tasting ingredients and way more flavor. Taco Bell should be getting their recipe for their Crunchwrap and make changes to their menu to match this one. So so damn good! All that and it's just under $8.
