My regular go to a lot for travel has always been Smartpark. For the longest time, they used smaller, older vans, and they have no loyalty program, but it was far less expensive than the other lots. When they upgraded vans, it was an improvement so I stayed with them. Lately, everyone's prices have gone up and Smartpark was no exception. Also, getting picked up in a lot and waiting for rides tended to be a poor experience relative to the larger carriers with their more frequent shuttles. Smartpark was no longer as good a value. So I decided to try Expresspark. The experience was largely similar, but it was over $1 cheaper per day. This makes sense since Expresspark is further from the airport (Ibelieve both Smartpark and Expresspark are commonly owned but I'm not certain). The next trip my partner went back to Smartpark. Departure experience less than optimal and we almost walked all the way out before the driver decided to come around. Then he got the location wrong. Minor annoyances but I'd rather save the money. So pricing Expresspark will continue. read more

We are a frequent customer of Expresspark South lot and have always had great service. This past Monday the airport was extremely busy and the Expresspark vans were having trouble keeping up with the number of passengers waiting at the airport for pickup. It is at times like this that an employee doing an excellent job really stands out. On Monday we were picked up by a driver named Stefan. He was amazing. Not only did he pick us up, but made sure he stopped at each of the other pickup spots to make sure he got everyone!!! Recently flew out of Philly and had a very positive experience parking at the Express Park South lot. I had some questions before we arrived and I was able to place a phone call and actually speak to someone. That is a rarity these days. The person was incredibly helpful and friendly, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, we buzzed right through and were led to our parking spot by a shuttle van. The driver helped us load our bags and then took us to the airport. He was a safe and conscientious driver and very friendly. The Van was clean, and there were seatbelts for everyone, which the driver made sure everyone had on before he departed. Our driver gave us the information we would need when we arrived back in Philly and made sure we had a card with the phone number and directions on where to meet the shuttle van. When we returned from our trip we did not wait more than seven minutes before the shuttle arrived to take us back to the parking lot. Everything was smooth and easy and we felt the price we paid was quite comparable with other lots in the area. I would absolutely recommend parking here and we will do so the next time we fly out of Philadelphia. read more

This was my second time using this lot. The price is reasonable compared to other lots in the area. A colleague paid double for the same amount of time at another lot. The staff are very friendly. The first time I parked here I had a flat and a gentleman put air in my tire so I didn't have to wait on a tow truck. I was super grateful. The drivers are very friendly and professional. Angel dropped us off at our car and put the luggage in the trunk. My only feedback would be if they let you know the number of the van picking you up because when the airport is crowded it can be a bit confusing. read more

ExpressPark South is our go-to airport parking for all of our trips out of Philly. It's conveniently located a short distance off of the Essington exit off 95. You can reserve your spot online in advance with just a 10% deposit of the parking fee. There is a discount for parking with a reservation, but I admittedly have never parked without a reservation so I'm not sure of the details. Of note, there is a Yelp check-in coupon, but it cannot be combined with the reservation discount. When you pull into the lot, you scan your reservation or take a ticket and drive through to an open spot. Typically, their airport shuttle van follows closely behind you and stops directly behind your car to load your luggage. They give you a card with the row number you are parked in. Sometimes, you hang out for a few minutes to collect other customers, but drivers have always been mindful and confirmed that I was not running late for a flight before they have stopped. The shuttles were recently replaced and are clean and comfortable. Upon arriving back, you call their number and let them know your location, and within 10 minutes there is typically a van to pick you up and drop you directly behind your car again. You stop at the booth to pay on your way out, and they typically offer you mints, which are always appreciated after a long flight. The staff has always been friendly and conversational. I anticipate parking at ExpressPark for any and all future trips out of PHL. read more

We are return customers and never had any issues. The staff is very cordial and helpful and the service to the airport and for pickup is quick. We just purchased a new vehicle recently and not use to keyless start. In our rush to get in the shuttle, my husband did not shut off the car before getting the luggage out. So, the car was running from 730am to 1100pm, when the staff noticed it was running. They called the police to come and shut it off. We had the key in Jamaica. Not sure how the police shut it off, but they did. Maybe a master key? The staff left us a note on our windshield informing us, what had happened. They went over and beyond. So glad they caught it so our car wasn't running for 8 days and completely out of gas. Thank you Expresspark. read more

Absolutely horrible. Do not recommended this to anyone. Just came back from a trip after a few days parked here like normal but instead of honoring our online reservation they will not let our cars out of the gate. I got in so obviously someone let me in through the gate, but this one woman is having a very hard time working a computer or common sense! I've parked here several times already and never had any issue. I tend to park here when I go on vacation and need greater than 7 days of parking. (it saves me maybe $1/day as compared to extended parking at PHL). For that, I will go through the hassle of parking here and taking the shuttle to get to PHL. They allow online payment and a small deposit to reserve your spot before you go there. You pay the rest of the balance after you leave. There is a QR code they let you scan before entrance as well. I tend to depart and return in the early mornings, evenings, or late evenings. So I never had a problem with delayed pick up or drop off. After drop off, it's always been less than 15 minutes to the terminal in their shuttle. Drivers always safe. They seem like they have really good communication between their dispatcher, the drivers in the lot and at the terminals, which I really appreciate. On the way back, my wait would normally be no more than 15 minutes. Upon return, my car has been safe every time. I appreciate this business' effort in ensuring satisfied customers. Expresspark is a sister concern of Smartpark. In the past I've used Smartpark and was very pleased with the experience. This time when I was flying out of Philly airport, I decided to use Expresspark to park my car. They have online reservations, so a spot is reserved for you for a small fee. I recommend making a reservation if you are not local. The location is easy to find. It's not a very big lot and only handful spots were available when I reached there. It was middle of the week. The shuttle reached my car within 2 minutes of me parking the car. Airport is about 10 minutes from the lot. Driver provided baggage assistance. Shuttle was clean and seemed well maintained. Driver handed over a card with a phone number to call on return and the location where car was parked on the lot. On my return, I called the phone number given on the card. The dispatcher asked me to go to Shuttle pick up area. I waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle. It had no other passengers to pick up. I appreciate that they still sent the shuttle right away after my call. I won't hesitate to use Expresspark again. read more

The driver who picked me and my colleague up from PHL on April 23rd seemed very drunk to me. The van reeked of alcohol. His face was beet red and eyes were glassy. He seem to mumble when he spoke and the van feared a little too close to the shoulder for my comfort. I want to acknowledge fully that I have no proof that he had been drinking. Found accidentally- gps led me to Expresspark South instead of the lot next door which I had prepaid. Upon return almost a week later, I realized at checkout, it was the "wrong" lot. The booth lady was sympathetic to the error, kindly comped a day, and I left knowing I had definitely parked at the "RIGHT" lot! I have used other large chain airport parking lots at various airports and was surprised that Philly doesnt have more to offer in that respect, but this lot worked out ok. This parking lot was a lot further from the airport than I was expecting, and coming from the north on I-95 It made me nervous to pass the airport on the way there. It all turned out to be an easy find, just give yourself time to get there and make mistakes. The google maps gps has no trouble navigating me to the right place. I called them the morning of to make sure there were some spaces available. There were, so I drove in and parked where I was directed. Within minutes I was greeted by the shuttle (more like a van) which was to take us to the airport. Since we were the first on the van, we had to wait 5-10 more minutes till more cars pulled in so that we were taking a full load to the airport. The drive to the airport took about 5-8 mins. Upon returning to philly, they give you a number to call to get picked up. We had no problems with this end of the service. There is a online coupon you can use (6.95 per day), but even with that- total our 4 day stay was ~$35. There is no wow factor for this lot, but I would use it again bc there arent too many other options and it was a good experience overall. read more

Staff are polite, courteous, and well-informed but there are times it takes up to 20 minutes to get out of the lot early in the morning on the shuttle. That's not ok and if I wanted really slow service would park at the Long Term Parking lot at the airport. read more

I recently parked at the express park south lot. My flight was very early in the morning so I was at the lot at 3:30 AM. I was a little concerned as a petite female being in the lot at that hour. However when I got to the lot I was extremely impressed with how lit up it was. You would've thought it was 3:30 in the afternoon. No issues at all. great place to park. After having a bad experience at a near by competing parking place we used Expresspark South and have never had a bad experience. Notably on this last trip on our return we were picked up by Tony. He was more than pleasant, he was VERY personable and seemed to enjoy his job. He opened a conversation about where we had traveled from and if we enjoyed it, then provided us with some local sports and other news. The conversation was what I would have expected if a friend had picked me up, not just an employee. He seems the truly enjoy his job and it showed. He made the ride back to our car a pleasure, even if it was the end of our vacation. He is a great employee and ambassador for the service. read more

Shortly after my last review, Expresspark contacted me directly to offer apologies and to remedy the situation. Based on this interaction, and the interactions I had with every employee at Expresspark besides the cashier, I've decided to update my review to 4 stars. Ultimately, based on my overall experience, the issue I had with the cashier appears to be a case of an argumentative employee as opposed to a bad company culture. Besides the experience with the cashier, I was impressed with this lot: friendly service upon entering the lot, prompt pick up at my car and professional service in the shuttle, and immediate pickup at my terminal upon my return. Ultimately, the positives outweigh the (very real) negative experience with the cashier here, and I am willing to give this parking lot another chance in the future. read more
