I feel like because you're getting a discount for the service they give you the worst service imaginable . I came in today , and immediately the front desk was trying to have me purchase additional extractions or a different type of facial that is more expensive , she said " you have acne this facial isn't suited for you" I told her kindly I actually don't have acne , I have a dermatologist and yes I do have acne scars but I have not a single active pimple or skin that needed many extractions . She said they would only do extractions on my nose and lips and I said that was perfect for me . They take me to the room and leave the room so I can change out of my shirt . MIND YOU THIS IS A 60 MINUTE FACIAL . I paid for a 60 minute facial which means I expect 60 mins worth of service . It took her 5 minutes to come back to the room . There was no sink for her to wash her hands and I didn't see her put on hand sanitizer . She washed my face and then applied an exfoliator that felt like tree hut scrub . She then left the room for 10 more minutes at this point we have only gotten to exfoliation and she already hasn't been on the room for 15 minutes ..... she comes back and puts this ultrasonic device that is usually used for extractions , she put no pressure and no extractions nor dead skin was taken off . She then gives me the shittiest facial massage . No technique , no pressure , just slathering thick cream on my face this goes on for about 10 minutes and then she slathers a mask on me and leaves for the rest of the appointment . I laid there for 15-20 mins just wondering where she left . Usually during a mask , estheticians will find something to do like a scalp massage or anything really that is providing a service in that downtime . She comes back takes off the mask and this point I'm really upset . I try to walk out the door , and the front desk harassed me about a tip I told her it was the worse facial I have ever received I will definitely not be tipping . Not only am I going to dispute this with my bank but I am absolutely reporting this place to the board of Estheticians. There is no way this lady went though any formal training . You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for this SCAM . You should t have to scam people out of money . Definitely did not receive the service i paid for .

Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.

Shawny is AMAZING! I have some really bad dark scars. She is HIGHLY SKILLED unlike another review suggests. She was ALREADY highly skilled in camouflage tattoo...but broadened her skillset......Have you seen the famous guy from Brazil all over FB that does camouflage tattooing - well she decided to get additional training by him using his special technique in addition to her own techniques. You MUST have reasonable expectations. This is a process & takes time. Some people just do not get that. I admit knew nothing. I expected to get a flesh colored tattoo over my scar & be done. Shawny CAREFULLY explained why I was not an immediate candidate for camouflage tattoo and even this process is NOT a 1 session color & done. I needed to have scar "lightening" sessions first for success. Multiple sessions & gradual results... NOT instant changes as some are expecting. Some people just do not get that the skin must heal & will look worse before it gets better. Just like a nose job....when the Dr removes the bandage you do not have an immediate cute button nose. You have black eyes & a nose bigger than before with the swelling. Laser hair sessions will take a year bc they are spaced out 8-10 weeks between each session. Laser facials can make you think you need to go to a burn unit in the hospital before that dewy glow sets in. My scars were very dark from surgery. I do not heal well. The photos are a comparison over a span of 4 months of after scar lightening. Shawny is treating multiple areas. Some of my scars have gone completely WHITE and have faded and will NOT need any scar camouflage!! This photo is my worst scar & you can see a tremendous change already. After a few more sessions Shawny was ready to start the coloring camouflage phase. She treats cancer & mastectomy clients. She gives us women hope for "normalcy." She truly cares for her clients. I bought an infrared sauna package from Groupon & am So Happy I did! It is one of the best treatments for inflammation, joint pain & incredibly relaxing. The salon is really cute & the owner Shawny has relaxing spa music playing while you're in the sauna. There is a robe, water, cold wash clothes to wipe yourself...the service is top notch. It's located in downtown Redondo with a lot of cute shops around. Parking is free behind the building. This treatment is a Must for self-care and rejuvenatio!
