I have had a few issues with this dry cleaners/tailors. I had a dress for my son's wedding hemmed for $48 and the underlining was 6 inches shorter than the overlay! They had to sew the cut material back and there was a seam on the underlining. It wasn't horribly noticeable but I was charged the entire price even though I had to return 3 times to the store. Then I left a spotted evening gown there and I was charged $24 to dry clean it. It came back with the same stain. I took the same dress to a dry cleaners in Plainview and it came back perfect. The chest was stuffed and it was hung beautifully. So in essence it cost me $50 to dry clean. Yesterday, I picked up a pair of pants that were burnt from a pressing after they were altered. I took them there in February to have them altered. I didn't try them on afterwards. (My bad) and it turned out they were never altered! So I returned last week. Now I spent 18.75x 2 for both visits for the same pants. The pants were $49 at Marshall's. I spent almost as much altering them and now they are burnt and not wearable. I'm done with these dry cleaners. Every time I go, they raise their prices. read more

This is the only dry cleaner in a 10 mile radius around Levittown/massapequa that has excellent review and lives up to it! The kind gentlemen in this shop is fantastic and so attentive. My clothes come in perfect ironed shape and the service is just 10/10. I highly recommend him to all - his prices are much lower than queen's prices. Im so delighted! read more

Came here to hem my two pairs of pants and dress! I paid $84 altogether, ($18 for each pair of pants and I believe $48 for the dress) the staff was very friendly, and she did a great job!!! I didn't have my shoes on me but she still managed to tailor it 3 inches from the bottom. I would certainly return. read more

I have a personalized work jacket that I unfortunately spilt oil and vinegar on probably a year ago. Later that day I was exposed to a dusty construction site and the black dust stuck to the embedded oil in my jacket and the stain looked terrible. I tried what I could to get it out including using some Palmolive with a laundry brush and also some Borax that someone else recommended. I was frustrated and gave up. That was until I walked into Exquisite and was greeted by Douglas. He told me he could do the best he could to get it out. I came back on the day they said it would be ready and I was absolutely amazed on how clean they got it. You would have no idea the stain was even there. Unbelievable.. I WAS (emphasis on Was) a customer of Exquisite since I moved here in 1994 and thought they were kind and service was great, however, I went in yesterday 9/9/2021, and needed to have a pair of slacks hemmed for my son who was starting school today and needed his uniform pants shortened. Yes, it was last minute, but being that I have been a customer for over 20 years I thought maybe they would accommodate hemming one pair over the course of an 8 hour day. Instead, I was met with a mean face that simply said "No, I am busy" and she repeated herself firmly. I have a large family and this I promise...my business walked out for good and I found a lovely person who was more than willing to hem my son's pants and as a matter of fact, hemmed all three pairs in less than 2 hours with no attitude. This will be my new dry cleaning place and alterations. Royal Dry cleaners are a little further down but I am switching for good! Thank you Exquisite for Opening my eyes and letting me see that there are nice people that provide better service. You can now remove my phone number from your customer list for good. read more

I've been coming here for at least 15 years and Sandra will always remember your name if you are a regular and there's something to be said about that (to me). Never had a problem with my dry cleaning and any hemming, etc. I can't tell you about pricing because I've never had a need to go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.
