It was all cut and dry. Believe what you want, but you cant argue with documentation, facts and a settled case. STAY AWAY! Despite acting like they can accomplish large jobs, they have no experience or skill that enables them to. Made the mistake of paying for half of the 60k job up front with promises of having the job done in 6 months or less. 9 months later and they showed up for a total of 4 days. 3 of those 4 days were half days as well, so saying 4 days is generous. In those 4 days, the only thing they did was prep work. We swiftly fired them, and even though they completed nothing, they refused to return any of the funds (that they claimed were going to materials that they had never purchased). We hired a new contractor with ACTUAL experience who had the job done in less than 2 months. The only thing I would trust these guys to do is show up late and MAYBE fix a leaky faucet.... nothing else.

Based on my own personal experience with Hoosier Lawn Pride, I would not recommend them at all for these simple facts and believe the other negative reviews have some merit: 1.) Hoosier Lawn pride never provided an estimate as they indicated they would. 2.) Their mastery with being dishonest is unsettling. I asked the owner Patrick Morris of Hoosier Pride if he or his business has a 3B - Turf management license from Purdue and told me "Yes". When in fact he (Patrick Morris) does not and has never received this license. The actual license status for Hoosier Lawn Pride or it's agent(s) was provided and confirmed by an uninterested third party at the time this review. The lack of a license explains why he sub-contracts out traditional lawn services like applying fertilizer, which was different from the explanation he provided in a meeting on the topic. If this license information is incorrect then please list and provide your 3B - Turf Management license number, license issuance date, license expiration date, and or 3B - Turf Management certification number. 3.) Hoosier Lawn Pride sub-contracts a large percentage of their business to another company, which was not disclosed to me until the meeting. I do not believe in middle man operations and usually they do not favor the consumer in the event of an issue or seeking relief for an issue due to convoluted nature of the arrangement. Had this been disclosed or outlined on any listing that states his services offered. I would have never contacted him for an estimate. In closing, do your own research on Hoosier Lawn Pride, it's affiliates, agents, and or it's sub contractors to see if they are a good fit for your lawn prior to hiring them. I am glad that I did and wish that I did more research prior to arranging a meeting for a free estimate. However, you can only make an informed decision based on what is disclosed or what reviews are posted. In closing, based on my research, the other negative reviews for Hoosier Lawn Pride, failure to disclose information, and his (Patrick Morris) dishonesty it's a easy decision for me to avoid Hoosier Lawn Pride even without receiving an estimate.

She's rude, unhelpful, and has no customer empathy. We've been an Indy Irrigation customer for over 10 years, mainly because they installed our irrigation system. They're customer service has degraded year over year as their prices increased. This year we reached a breaking point. They were supposed to open our system as part of our maintenance contract. We were out of town when they arrived. They left with the water turned off at the street because one of the valves (for our garden) was stuck on. The technician didn't fix it, stating that he couldn't find the valve box. Indy Irrigation should know where it is -- they insstalled it and it's right next to the garden! We contacted them and they wanted to charge us for another trip to our house, and they couldn't guarantee when they would arrive. They were currently scheduling into July, but no guarantee. My wife told them that they were going to lose us as a customer and the woman at the office didn't budge. Ten plus years a customer, 10+ years paying annual maintenance contract. No more. Goodbye Indy Irrigation. We called another company and they are coming out at 6pm today. They recognized the urgency of the situation, and the opportunity to get a new client.

I'm knocking off two stars though because I had trouble communicating with them. Everybody on the staff speaks English as a second language. I had to communicate several things more than once because they either forgot or didn't fully understand what I said. One of the staff members who is either an owner or team leader was borderline rude at times when I communicated with her....and she did not communicate well. At one point, she got defensive when I brought up that she misunderstood what I said as if I was attacking her ability to speak English.
