I've been going here for about 3 years and I always go to Susan. She does an amazing job at eye lashes and eyebrows. To me she's the best one there. I never had any problems. It's a very nice and clean facility. I really enjoy the music and the window views. It would be nice to have some kind of refreshments while the customers waits but beside that, this is the best place in Columbus to go for an R&R. Its like an eyebrow factory, the process is always the same Checkin (no appointment needed) Sit on the chair they tell you to and she asks 'what would you like' you answer 'eyebrows' 5mins later... They give you a mirror 'you like it?' you say 'Yep' You pay & walk out Done! Its a fast & easy service but the results are such a hit or miss. I don't even see the same ladies in the shop every time so its tough to rely on if you have a special event etc. I have been going here if I am in Easton and in a hurry to get a bit of a clean up in eyebrows. The extra $1 for a CC and usage, and necessary email, is for the Square app. Easy enough and completely trustworthy. Located upstairs, it's situated in a spot that is unobtrusive enough to not make you feel like everyone is staring at you (a-hem, Tuttle and Polaris threading locations). Threading is a great thing for my super sensitive skin, even on my super thin blonde-brows. An edit to clarify the process: yes, you do have to hold your skin taught. That's how they get at your brow hair! Two hands to work the threading process, and you pull taught so they can get to the root. It's NOT a relaxing process, and isn't meant to be. Is waxing a relaxing process?? Not really. Yes, it still hurts. Your threshold for pain is just as influential as it would be in waxing and plucking. It IS more thorough than wax. Wax will never get the fine baby hairs, and usually they end up plucking for clean up. For me, it doesn't hurt as much as the full "rip" of the wax and doesn't take my first layer of skin with it. read more

I've been here for eyebrow threading and body waxing a few times. They are okay at the services they provide, and I mostly chose them because they are closest to home. However, recently they have increased the prices for their services all of a sudden. I thought they were over-priced as is prior to the additional increase. I did not receive an email about the price change, neither was I updated as I entered the salon. After my service, when I asked why the price is different all of a sudden, I was told "it increased." I have been going here for a few months now but I can only speak for one employee, Ferdos, who knows exactly how to clean up the brows without taking away the natural shape which is a common issue when it comes to threading or waxing. My first time there she was able to help me and I've stuck with her ever since! I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes, these ladies are super quick and professional! The salon is always spotless and the costumer service is great. I also love that they have a loyalty program which allows you to get a free eyebrow threading after so many visits and on your birthday as well! I've been here several times. The threading is good. I've had threading done many times in other places & what baffles me here is that they want you to hold your eyebrow & eyelids. That's something that no other place does & the result is the same. This leads me to believe they are not well trained. I got my underarms waxed today. I won't EVER get that done here anymore. The woman who did the waxing obviously didn't know what she was doing. She broke up the underarm in four places. Anyone who does waxing knows that it already hurts so you want to get everything with the least amount of pulls at a time. I went in for lash extensions to try this salon out and I am very regretful of this decision. The amount of glue on my lashes is beyond excessive. I can barely hold my eyes up and it is itchy and miserable. Not to mention they don't have long lashes so they don't even look good. They are just super thick and short. The glue is so noticeable and looks disgusting. They were very busy and even though I made an appointment well in advance, my service was rushed through and my tech was very rough on my eyes. I don't have enough good things to say about this place! When I moved to Columbus from Cincinnati I didn't think of all the little things that may be difficult like finding your favorite nail technician and someone to clean up your eyebrows just the way you like them. Luckily I stumbled upon this place pretty quickly, and I haven't gone anywhere else since! While getting my eyebrows threaded is not the most enjoyable, the staff is so great and makes the experience quick, easy and relatively painless. I was really nervous to get my eyebrows threaded and to get them done by someone new but every time I leave the establishment I am so pleased with the results! My eyebrows are always cleaned up so nicely while still having a natural shape and size. I will be stopping in soon for another appointment! read more

I came in today around 3:45. There were two people working with 2 clients. One of the clients had a child. The nearest women to the front desk did not greet me or acknowledge me but she looked at me. I tried to sign in and I said do you sign in? The closes worker looked at me and said nothing and I sat down. The worker ask her client in her chair if she wanted some water and she asked the child if she needed water while continuing to ignore me. She got them water while still ignoring me. She did not ask if I wanted water. When she was almost complete with her customer, she asked what I wanted. I told her then and she said you need to sign in. What? I said I already asked you if I should sign in. I sign in but i decided to just leave. I did not want this rude woman to touch me. I know the prices are cheap but maybe if your customer service was better you would have more than 2 people in your place. Been going here for over 2 years now and always have a good threading experience. To start off, threading may not be for everyone. I've been threading for almost 10 years and still experience ALOT of pain every single time! I'm really sensitive but after 10 years with the same experience, I know it's pain I just have to deal with. So this is a very cute , dimly lit 'salon' for threading and waxing of facial and body hair. They also do henna. There is barely any wait time even on busy days. Everything is done in such a timely manner! On a normal day, there should be 5-8 ladies most originally from countries were threading is as normal as washing your hair (Lebanon, India etc). I've sat with a few different ladies and honestly they are all really good!! Some ladies will chat with you, some with their coworkers or no conversation as they have to keep a piece of thread in their mouth at times. I'm just trying to keep my cool and not scare the other customers off with me yelling! I do advise them that I'm extremely sensitive and they do sympathize and are really patient with me when I need to pause for a breather. Also, (this goes for all salons) I do my best to explain exactly what I want before they get started and I'm always extremely happy with the shape and thickness. $11 for eyebrows is a steal considering this is at Easton mall. There's also enough parking right in front! I definitely recommend giving here a try if you haven't! read more

This place has actually moved to 4034 Morse Crossing near the Chase bank and Jimmy John's in the Easton Town Center area. Price for eyebrow threading is $11 cash and $12 credit card. There is a Chase bank literally steps away so if you bank with them, go there first. The interior of the establishment is clean and trendy appearing. I went on a Sunday afternoon one hour before closing and there was no line. The receptionist was friendly and stood up when I entered and greeted me with a smile. Sad how that kind of greeting is rare these days. I appreciated it. Because it was a slow rainy afternoon, I immediately got in a chair. The lady who threaded my eyebrows did a great job. She was an older Indian woman who really knew what she was doing. I think some of the poor reviews given are due to people's lack of experience with threading. No hair removal process that I know of that removes the root of a hair from your body is painless. And to the person who complained about holding the skin taut during the threading process...uh....yea....whine much??? How do you give an establishment one star based on that? "Boo" to you many times over. That's part of threading. Not just here but everywhere. I have lived in NYC and several other East Coast cities, never paid more than $8 for threading, but I do realize they have to pay that Easton rent so I'll let that slide. I really like this location... they began in Polaris (I believe they still have a location there, but under a different name?), then moved inside of Easton mall, and now in a more convenient location outside of the mall with a shared lot with other businesses in the 'strip mall' location. I am happy with this move.... this is a new build, so it's very clean, and well kept - inside and out. I have always been greeted with a warm hello and smile, and asked what services I would like followed by if I would like anything to drink if there is a wait.... there is almost always a wait. As previously reviewed, they offer a loyalty card which they actually honor. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free threading my last visit. On to the process... it IS more painful compared to wax, but you get used to it the longer you go. Why would you want to 'get used to it".. because many people are allergic to wax, or medically unable to get waxed. You DO have to be a part of the process by holding your skin taut... you have to do this in even higher end salons. Your eyes may water... that's ok! Some may get freaked out because the threader holds the thread in their mouth.... you NEVER come in contact with the 'contaminated' portion of the thread. It is $1 cheaper if you pay in cash. It's near Easton but not IN the mall, which is convenient for when I'm running errands, and no parking hassle on weekend evenings. They're open until 9pm most days. I went here for the first time today and definitely had a good experience. I called ahead of time to ask how long eyebrow threading would take as it was my first experience with threading. The guy who answered the phone was very helpful, answering my questions and making sure I knew exactly where they were located. When I got there, the receptionist stood up and greeted me, and sent me immediately to a chair where I was met by the woman who did my eyebrows. She asked me how I was, but didn't really talk to me beyond that. She was friendly though and worked quickly. Besides, it's not her job to entertain me... I'd rather she paid attention and not yank out a part of my eyebrow I'd rather be intact! It was a little painful, but my eyebrows stopped smarting before I even walked out the door. Once she was done, she made sure I was happy with the results (which I was!), and told me to have a good evening. Definite bonus: no hot wax or individually tweezing hairs! I went back to the front desk to pay and the receptionist asked if I had had a good experience, then she gave me a loyalty card (7th threading free). I paid with a credit card because I didn't have cash, so it ended up being $12. If you're unfamiliar with Square, it's an attachment for iPhone/iPad/Android to take card payments. You complete the entire transaction on their iPad, including leaving a tip. Super convenient. All-in-all, it was a clean place, relaxing environment (which is nice when they're ripping out hair!), very friendly staff, and I'll be going back again. read more

I was visiting Cbus for a friend's wedding. My brows were in need of some help, so I stopped by Exquisite Threading to have my brows touched up before seeing all my college friends at the wedding. It was a Friday afternoon around 5pm. I had to wait about 5 minutes before I sat down to have my brows done. The girl did a great job. My friends kept on telling me throughout the weekend that my brows look good. I read the previous reviews that said you save a $1 if you pay with cash. I paid with cash but was still charged $12 plus a tip which was diappointing. Also, the price seems a little steap especially for Cbus. I mean I can get my brows threaded for $8 at a nice place in Chicago. Why more expensive in Cbus? read more

Once located on the interior of Easton, it has since moved to the outlying areas surrounding it between Jimmy John's and T-Mobile. I know this because I have religiously gone there every 2 weeks since moving to Columbus back in January. The experience alone in this establishment is enough to make me come back. I go to the same girl every time (albeit I can't remember her name). She is quiet, pretty, with the perfect, full eyebrows that are desired and envied, much like my own. :) There tends to be a wait sometimes between the 5-7pm hours, so be aware. Beyond that you can usually pop in and be taken care of right away. I have always had clean, consistent service and having been a "threader" for 5 years now, I'm pretty picky. Cost is in the range of $11 I believe? I get a discount because of my loyalty, you might too if you get on good terms! p.s. I have had to go to other girls who work there for a thread job, and never had any complaints, I just prefer the one I go to to build rapport and feel that it makes the threader better at their job to see the same face, much like a makeup artist. read more
