While i do agree that the quality of hair has one downhill some, I have ordered from other places as well, and extensions plus hair is still always better than anywhere else. I have found their customer service to be great. I think it helps to build a relationship with an individual person from the department you are ordering from. I don't order from the Extensions-Plus website often but when I do I always have issues with placing an order. The site always moves extremely slow, every time I try to view my previous order it errors out, when viewing the selections online and I want to go to the next page, the site freezes and I get an error message. All I need to do is replace a previous order that was made and it is taking me more time than I would normal expect to place an online order. I had a great experience at Extensions Plus, and it was all because of Latrice. A good friend directed me to ask specifically for her to help get me set up with a custom fall, after she experienced issues with some of the other employees. Extremely satisfied is a major understatement!!! I FINALLY was able to get my hands on the Relaxed Texture extensions from Extensions Plus!!!! A few days before Thanksgiving, I called and spoke with a representative and she pleasantly answered all of my questions with ease regarding the hair and current sales. The staff is very patient with 1st time buyers as I had so many questions! After multiple calls and conversations I was able to place my order. I felt very comfortable with my choice and hung up happy! Fast forward....my hair arrived the next day! In my package was a thank you note, 3 bundles and a closure. The order was exactly what we discussed! The hair was packaged very neatly with tissue paper and gold pouches. The hair is super luscious, soft/light and smelled GREAT! It is everything and more than I thought it would be. I ran my fingers through the hair and experienced no shedding. I flat iron and curled a small piece of 1 of the bundles and it straightened and curled PERFECTLY! THIS HAIR IS THE BOMB!!!!!! The wefts are neat and the closure has to be 1 of the best I have ever seen. This hair is a direct match to my natural hair!!! Extensions Plus is by far one of the best places to purchase quality hair for a reasonable price. I have hair that I've used for over a year that is still good enough to use again. They are what I call a "Family" style business. My husband and I have worked with the original staff for over 10 years and have purchased hair for our former salon, movie sets and high profile clients who have been extremely happy with the quality and longevity of their hair. Because of their quality and the demand, I've seen their business grow over the years which has caused some growing pains for some of the "spoiled" customers. Even though I've had to leave a message, I always receive a return call within 24 hours and the same customer service that I received years ago. Also, a great vehicle is email which is very effective. I understand that with the growing demands of their business, they are updating their systems to service clients all over the world more effectively and effi As a business owner myself, I understand that businesses have to change process at times which may cause a slight inconvenience to the customer but as long as the original quality and service is still there, the customers should understand. Hands down one of the best hair extensions I ever worn. This hair was recommended to me for years but the price always hindered me from buying but I finally gave in and made a purchase in December. Extensions Plus (EP) has no regard for customer satisfaction. I purchased hair a year prior that lasted well through several cleaning and styling cycles. When I purchased a replacement of the same variety, the hair was nappy and frizzy and did not last 1 week. I immediately reported the issue to EP and my concern fell on deaf ears. As I had an important media event (which I told them about), I had to get everything re-done with another company's hair product. My hair stylist who initially recommended EP says that based on this encounter, she will also advise clients against purchasing from EP. I will NEVER EVER use this company again. The simple act of replacing the defective product for 1 previously satisfied client should have been easily done instead of ignoring my issue and assuming that it was a frivolous claim. By doing so, EP has lost not only me as a customer, but many more from the Bay Area. read more

Extensions Plus has a poor operating model, lacks integrity and has no professionalism. I was interested in purchasing a quality wig. I read the Yelp reads and was skeptical but I hoped that I would have a different experience. I stopped by on a Saturday but the wig department was closed however, one of the representatives Brittney in the hair extensions department measured my head and forwarded the measurements to Kimberly who heads the wig department. Brittney noted the type of hair I was interested in (silky relaxed), the length of hair, the requirements for un-ventilation, etc and she indicated she would forward the details to Kimberly. I spoke to Kimberly via phone. Kimberly confirmed that she received the measurement and wig details from Brittney and Kimberly indicated that a silky relaxed wig is about $1,300.00. However, Kimberly informed me that the wig department must take their own measurements to ensure accuracy and their first available appointment was in 5 weeks. I waited 5 weeks. Took time from my job since the wig department at Extension Plus does not make appointments on Saturday's. Kimberly measured my head and we discussed wig options. The next day Kimberly sends me a quote for $1,850.00 and I received a disclaimer form that had no details about the wig i.e. no measurements - no description - nothing. Yet, Extension Plus was expecting me to sign a legal disclaimer document prior to Extensions Plus ordering the wig. My wig requirements did not change based on my in person consultation visit with Kimberly. So why the $550 increase in price? When I expressed concerns about the quote, Kimberly indicated via email that silky relaxed wigs "start" at $1,500.00 and it goes up depending on what is required but it was made clear to Kimberly in advance prior to my in-person appointment what the requirements were. Secondly, Kimberly indicated that the measurements of the wig are not given to the customer and that was the reason why the disclaimer form did not include measurements. Kimberly stated the measurements are kept on file. That does not make any sense at all and it is inappropriate to ask a customer to pay for a product and sign a disclaimer if the customer does not receive any details regarding the order. It is clear that I was mislead when Kimberly told me that the wig would cost about $1,300 when the wigs start at $1,500 and who in their right mind would sign a disclaimer to purchase a product where there is no description of the product in the disclaimer so that the customer is assured of what they are purchasing. The experience at Extensions Plus was disappointing and their operating model is not professional and it lacks customer focus. Essentially I did not receive truthful information regarding the price of the wig and the 5-week wait along with time away from my job was not time well spent. I started buying hand-tied custom weft extensions (24" Italian, 3 shades of blonde woven in) way back in 1986. Yes, the prices were awesome...and the quality of the long blonde hair was consistently beautiful. All of us who modeled swimwear at the beach, bought tons of wefts from EP. The quality of the blonde wefts didn't start to go downhill until around 2004. We all noticed the changing texture of the hair...not silky and soft like my own long blonde hair. Instead, it was courser hair that matted, tangled, and had a very short life span because of the excessive breakage and shedding. Additionally, the low lights that were in the wefts totally faded back to brassy blonde. My colorist was unable to re-weave low lights into the wefts because EP does not use traditional hair color...they use fabric dye. I've continued trying to buy custom blended 18-20 inch blonde wefts from EP over the ensuing years (up to 2016) but have never gotten the beautiful hair that I bought for well over 20 years from them. The problem is apparently because now the "original hair" is Indian hair, which has to be wayyyyyyyyy over-processed to achieve the blonde shades...but is still Indian hair! The hair is thick, course, and not naturally silky like Caucasian light brown or blonde hair. My long blonde hair will absolutely NOT blend in with this Indian hair. Most of my latest weft purchases have ended up being donated to cancer patients who need temporary hair. I noticed that almost all of the EP hair reviews are NOT from blondes!!! Extensions Heaven :). I was a long time user of Velvet Remi beauty supply hair, and recently decided to upgrade from that garbage and the upgrade was long overdue. I have had the zig zag Indian curly hair installed for about 3 weeks now and its flawless. I have alternated to the curly look to straight a few times and it transitions between these looks beautifully.It looks incredibly natural and I have received so many compliments on my hair, even men have complimented on how nice my hair looks. But really this hair was one of the best investments I have made. My days of having a brush filled with hair, purse filled with hair from the brush, hair stuck in my vacuum cleaner -are over!!!! This hair has very very minimal shedding,and absolutely no tangling!!! Cons of this hair- it looks a bit dry, and it takes a significant amount of time to straighten it after you wear it in the curly/ wavy pattern, so you must have a good flat iron and some time on your hands, its just like flat ironing naturally curly hair. I am sticking to buying from EP from now on, they may be pricey but you truly get what you pay for, and their customer service is impeccable. I am a very picky person and I change my mind with the drop of a dime especially with hair- they were patient and exchanged lengths and colors for my bundles with no problems or attitudes whatsoever. I've ordered from this business before and am a repeat customer because I have always received a quality product. My last interaction was very disappointing. I ordered on a Thursday well before 3 p.m. so that I could get it shipped out the same day, as was advertised. I ordered at 12 West Coast time, which was 3 p.m. East Coast time. The next day, I noticed I did not receive an email saying my order had been shipped, so I called and spoke to a very nonchalant young man who sounded like he was watching TV. He informed me that my order had not yet been sent out. I explained to him that it was time sensitive, given that I had a hair appointment that was hard to get in the first place. He simply asked me, if I wanted to cancel. I said, "no, I want to know when the order is going out and why it did not go out yesterday, as promised?". He said, maybe I ordered after 3.p.m. I assured him that I did not, and that I made sure to order well before 3p.m. on West Coast time. He got confused about the East Coast Vs. West Coast and continued to suggest that I ordered too late, even though I had a email purchase receipt proving otherwise. He could not tell me when the hair would go out or when I would receive it. I asked if the shipping could be changed and he simply stated, "no, it was too late". How??: If the hair is still with you and you did not ship the day before as promised, why is it too late? I was told that the label was probably put on already but also asked again f I wanted to cancel? I called back and asked for a manager and was transferred to someone's voice mail. I left a detailed message but have yet to receive a call back. Still no email saying the order was shipped. This product is very expensive and should be accompanied with great customer service. Ok what in the world happened? I purchased to different types of hair, back in 2011. I ordered zigzag then Bollywood I bleached it treated and shampoo conditioned it! Last up to 4 1/2 years and still have it beautiful hair weft is thinner, but that's understandable. I thought I'll treat myself to some new hair right, I bought just the Bollywood supposedly it's a little thicker at the weft. Well I'm in for a great surprise!!! I do what I normally do clean my hair of course then install my Bollywood. The VERY NEXT DAY!!!! IT MATTED UP LIKE A KNITTED CAP ON THE BACK OF MY HEAD .While I walk around the store or wherever I'm at and subconsciously think my hair because people are staring so I go look in the mirror and I can't even take my fingers through it. I spend less this time because they have gone up on the price, so I only purchased two and told the lady I'll come back next week for another bundle, EP I will not spend another penny with you. I'm so disappointed. People do not have money to throw away! I think EP SHOULD DO A 30days guarantee . I'm a professional licensed hair stylist and I know good quality hair I even had to cut it and still the same texture is just awful, you ask me I believe it's mixed with some type of fiber it's very wirey, thank God I decided to not color it this time it might of been a lot worse.
