I specifically asked for a balayage, and the stylist said she understood. About 20 minutes in, I started noticing that she wasn't doing anything close to the balayage technique I've had done many times before. Everything was going way too fast, so I mentioned my concern. Long story short, I ended up with highlights, not a balayage. The service itself was also extremely messy. She got product on my jeans and even managed to get dye inside my ear. What upset me even more was that the bleach was left on my hair for way too long, which ended up damaging my hair and causing breakage. So not only did I leave without the balayage I asked for, I left with damaged hair. I spoke with Andrew afterward and explained how disappointed I was. He told me to call back if I wanted them to fix it. I did exactly that and left a message. I was told he would call me back, but I never heard from him. Very disappointing experience from beginning to end. If you're going here for a balayage, I would seriously reconsider. There is a big difference between balayage and highlights, and unfortunately, that difference didn't seem to be understood here. Now I'm left dealing with damaged, broken hair on top of paying for a service I didn't ask for. I definitely won't be returning.

I always get a partial highlight, and she blends it so well that it grows out beautifully...I only need to get my hair done once every eight or nine months! It always looks so natural, beautifully blended and fresh. I've even moved out of the area, but I still make the drive to see her because she's completely worth it. Not only is Nina a talented colorist, but she's also quick, efficient, and her prices are very fair for the quality of work she does. I always leave feeling confident and happy with my hair. After 5.5 hours and $350 + tip, my gray hairs in the front were still completely visible--the main reason I came in. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.

Called first, asked if it's walk in or appointment only - they accept walk ins. Perfect. Walked in. 4 ahead of me. One receptionist, 2 hair stylists. I had the pleasure to get my hair cut by Pamela. I asked for a mid-taper on the sides, size half, and a slight trim on top. Told her I'm going for a pompadour look with a little bit of a combover. She NAILED it perfectly. Educated me on correct technique when applying pomade from fingers to the roots of the hair (I used my palms) and showed me how my hair could lay better when pushed forward rather than back. Something barbers don't take into consideration whatsoever. Ended the experience with a hair wash, blended/faded the rest and trimmed the top. Simply amazing. Accepts debit card. I would come back next time I'm in the valley and in need of a haircut. Highly recommended!
