I had an amazing experience getting the Pura Luxe treatment with Ofer. Initially I was really nervous because I have naturally curly hair and I love my curl pattern. I didn't want the treatment to affect my curl pattern or the health of my hair. My goal was to have less frizzy hair that would allow me to use less product when styling my curly hair, and cut the dying time in half. That was exactly the results I got! I am a licensed cosmetologist myself. This is an illegal establishment with unlicensed stylists. Every salon by law is supposedly to post their licenses and permits on the wall conspicuously, but upon asking about it to the stylist Rachel pulled it out from behind the counter. I asked her for a closer examination for the validity of the license she put it away and told me to get out. Bait and Switch: They advertise their service at $300, then tell you $480 once in person. I went back to fix the damage, and the pura lux treatment meant for managed hair made me lose so much hair that I was basically bald in the front. I asked for a refund and was only offered a portion of the price back. I realized afterwards that I'm not the only one who had damaged hair and lost hair from this "treatment." I had to see a doctor, go on medication, and take rogaine. I still can't blow dry my hair in fear that I will lose more. The quality of my hair didn't even resemble "back to normal" until after it all grew out. If you don't want to risk losing your hair, do not do this "treatment." read more

Definitely worth the price and amazing results!! I have gotten the brazillian blowout and keratin treatments in my curly hair about 15 times, and nothing works. My friend suggested I get Ofer's treatment and it is a miracle!!! My hair is perfectly straight right after the shower and I am in complete shock. I am so beyond happy and this was so worth it. Really recommend everyone to get this treatment. Also I left my computer at the salon and he called me right away to come pick it up. If you have fine hair, avoid this procedure. While everyone was really nice, this place touts itself as "all natural" but it's far from it. You can smell the formaldehyde a mile away and it fried my hair. I've gotten the Japanese straightening, keratin and Brazilian treatments and none of them fried my hair like this did. And my hair was virgin hair, without any color or process. Very disappointing. read more

Ofer has done a good job for me in the past but do not let Tomer touch your hair. I was lead to believe my appointment was with Ofer but Tomer was there instead. He told me he co-developed the product so I went along with him. He wanted to charge me double ($350 for hair at chin level) what I had previously paid and I stupidly agreed. He then did a TERRIBLE job. I had had the treatment before and was pleased with it. I knew what to expect. Tomer left my hair with variable degrees of straightening so some places were stick straight and some places were wavy. It looked terrible. And where it was straight, it stuck out rather than laid flat. Plus, the texture of my hair was very rough, not soft like when Ofer did it. It then took me forever to reach Ofer and when he saw my photo, agreed that it looked crappy and told me he would meet me to fix it. Again, Tomer was waiting for me. He had nothing to offer me and told me to give it a few weeks to relax....well that never happened. I looked awful and continued to look awful for months unless I had my hair blown out. It's been months now and the texture and curl are still uneven. It looks like I straightened it in some places and permed it in others. STAY AWAY FROM TOMER who did this treatment incompetently and expect poor customer service from Ofer. read more
