He said roofs needed to be replaced as they were leaking beyond repair. After new roofs were installed by ABC Roofing, roofs continue to leak. There have been 4 damaging leaks in the first 2 years and I have just noticed a possible new one last week. ABC Roofing is very slow to respond to their warranty and Silviano has threatened to stop providing warranty as he doesn't like my property manager or our tenants. Silviano is rude to my tenants and manager and says we are to blame for the leaks. (Full disclosure, one additional leak was caused by a tenant smoking on their roof and that was not covered by warranty.) However, others are telling us the roof was improperly installed. Thus, it's possible ABC Roofing doesn't know how to properly install or repair their roofs. If I could do it all over again, I would not hire ABC Roofing. I'm 2 years into this and am having a major headache dealing with leaking roofs and am not getting satisfactory warranty service.

I hired Desert Sun Builders to refurbish my deck, including new deck boards and new railing. The…read morejob involved demolition, rough carpentry, and finish work. The quality of work varied from good, to acceptable, to not acceptable, to breathtakingly bad. I had to check the work at the end of every work day because the contractor never got around to checking what his crew did. And the more I found that needed repair, correction or completion, and there was a lot of that, the more surly the contractor got. When the work moved to the deck stairway, it quickly became apparent that his crew had no clue how to finish stair risers and treads, how to use a miter saw, how to make things level and square - it was unbelievable - and the contractor still could not be bothered to check their work and was quite hostile when I did. In their final day onsite, both the contractor and the crew got careless and damaged materials prior to and after installation. He ran out of materials and was not able to finish the job. He packed up and left, saying he'd be back with more materials. I never heard from him again, and that was kind of a blessing. I am still dealing with the aftermath.

The work is a disaster I've had my second bid to come and fix what they've done and it's almost the same amount as they charged me to do the initial project. I have reached out to them and haven't had a response. Are they still in business? Glue everywhere, holes in my stucco wall left, unfinished edges on the roof. So many patches! They had a whole huge role of material. They could've cut it out and installed it. Instead they pieced it together. I've reached out to them and asked for them to make this right. No portable restrooms were provided so the workers used our yard as a toilet. These guys clearly never installed metal roofing on a pitched roof before--they scratched the heck out of it during install and then applied touch up paint that has no UV coating so now there are blotches all over the roof. Workers didn't cover anything with tarps when taking old roof off, which destroyed many plants and bushes. They showed up whenever they wanted to, never on schedule, and the project took over 4 times their estimate to complete. Unbelievable.
