A very clean truck that ran great and even had a liftgate on it that made moving our appliances and heavy furniture a snap. Loved it. Beats the heck out of those guys with the old orange trucks. LOL Customer service was top notch. Mike took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed and was very professional. If we ever need storage we will go there!!!

My issue is with the fact that, since Public Storage took over this facility, my unit has doubled in price...two rate hikes IN A YEAR'S TIME! Since it's no longer affordable, I have to make some really hard decisions and either relocate or dump my memories.

On December 29, 2025, I called to cancel the reservation and request a refund since my plans had changed well in advance. I was informed that I would only receive a refund for the lock cylinder/merchandise, but not the $30 administrative fee. When I asked what the $30 admin fee covered or what service had already been performed, the representative could not provide a clear explanation. Given that my move-in date was still weeks away and the reservation was made only a week prior, this policy feels unreasonable. I also asked if the $30 could be applied or credited toward a future rental (as I may need storage in February), but customer service said no. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with could not transfer me to a supervisor or anyone higher to help resolve the issue amicably. This has been a very disappointing experience for a first-time customer. Based on this interaction alone, I will not be using Public Storage in the future and would not recommend it to others. Look for other storage options. Not recommended.

They charge a $20.00 convenience fee just to talk to a person other than the property manager. Ridiculous! I also got charged for inadvertently leaving two 5 gallon water bottles on the curb while I was helping my daughter remove some of her items. When I realized it and returned the bottles were gone and I was charged $25.00. Then they said that they could not return the bottles because they destroyed them. I just wonder what they would do if a really valuable item was inadvertently left behind? Would they destroy it also just to collect a$25.00 fee? I was told by the property manager that this charge was non-negotiable. I had previously rented a unit at another less convenient location for years. I have been renting from Public Storage for a total of 11 years (all on Auto-Pay) and this is the kind of friviolous action they choose to use for a long term renter. Although it is a major inconvenience to move to another storage company, I am moving out by the end of the month and will never rent from them again, nor will I recommend them to any one else.
