Call box claims sent me an email three months ago approving my claim and asking for my address and I sent it to them and they never sent me my refund of the $216.50 that they promised me I have been emailing them for a total of five months for my refund they are very unprofessional they're very disrespectful to their customers and they are the worst furniture storage company I've ever seen and I would never use them again!!!!! I used Callbox Storage for storing my seasonal items (holiday decorations, camping gear, and wardrobe). Callbox made the hassle of moving and storing a breeze! The entire team was professional and kind- I knew I was in great hands. Once you create your account, a scheduling coordinator will call you to confirm the size plan that best fits your needs and pick up date. The day of pick up was so easy- their moving professionals did all the heavy lifting and moving- which was a huge time saver! Using a photo inventory system, they itemized all my "stuff" before it's stored in their temperature-controlled facility. When I'm ready to bring back my items, I just have to go online, select, and they deliver them back to me! Such an innovative company with superb customer service- 10/10 highly recommend! read more

I had used Callbox Storage for over a year. Scheduling pickups/deliveries wasn't always convenient, as their schedule seemed do be booked several days in advance. The main reason for this 1-start review is based on their claims process. In May 2020, I received a delivery of my $600 exercise bike, which has major damage. I went through their standard claim process, which took longer than expected, but they require every claimant to sign a release, before receiving reimbursement. In the release, they have the following wording, "Customer further agrees she will not make any...disparaging, negative or critical comments regarding CALLBOX made on any customer review on any internet website, blog, or social media site." I feel this is underhanded business practice, and I am unwilling to agree to their terms. Nothing in the original storage contract eluded to this regarding claims. I do not recommend Callbox Storage to anyone based on my experience. I would happily remove this review, if they change their claim process to exclude this statement in their claims release. read more

Callbox was just as easy as pie when I was starting my account; quick response, and very pleasant. They were extremely pleasant when they came to our house and picked up all the boxes that we had boxed (tagged with a barcode, photographed and put on a spreadsheet). They were VERY pleasant and respectful that day. I was a little worried though, and should have listened to my gut, as I saw them pack up their truck, tossing our boxes in, dragging a few large items to the truck, and packing boxes on top of boxes labeled (FRAGILE, and DO NOT STACK ANYTHING ON TOP, etc.) Then we scheduled out return of items, (we only needed Callbox for a couple of months while we were under construction, so they did not have our stuff that long.) When they arrived they were very nice, respectful, and asked where each box should go. (Most companies put boxes where ever they can) - but as the boxes were coming in, I noticed a lot(!) were pretty "crushed" or not in the shape that they left this house in! But, we got it all home...we thought. Then we started noticing that a few things were missing, and even my great-grandmother's needlepointed rocking chair! How can you lose a rocking chair?! I contacted Callbox and they were not very helpful. They even put us in another(smaller) "locker" for our items that were left at their warehouse, and were charging us for it! We were never contacted about this. We called them when we saw the charge on our card! And, regarding the missing items, as of this date (almost 3 months since delivery) they still have not located any of our boxes, they said "the coded tag(s) must have come off and they would look for them!" hahaha They did, however find my great grandmother's rocking chair a month and a half later, but it is pretty damaged! I'm now going to have to find an antique dealer who fixes old things! I have ed-mailed "claims" twice, since that is what they told me to do, and as of this writing... NOTHING! Therefore, use them at your own risk! Their customer service is AWFUL! Their response is AWFUL, as well. You just have to keep calling if you really want to speak with someone. If you don't have to use them... then don't! read more

I had previously written a one-star, based on my initial experience, which i am assuming prompted a follow up from the company. Their method of pricing was preferred to other options, so I went ahead and scheduled pick up. They were right on time, were cheerful, friendly, and worked efficiently to load my possessions. I am now a strong advocate of Callbox Storage, and would recommend you consider them for your next move, particularly if you need to move heavy, bulky items and need them to store for a period of time, as I did. read more

Callbox Storage lost a significant amount of items that I had stored with them. They do not create clear records of ongoing inventory, instead implementing sloppy bookkeeping and when they sell a location to a larger company, which they do often, your items are forever lost--because there is no complete inventory list--- and they insist you take the matter up with the new company--which is irresponsible and dodgy because Callbox knows the new company will not have been given complete records of your inventory because Callbox's records are only of your initial inventory and may not include anything added over time. For all I know they sold my items on the side before selling their location. I would 100% avoid this company and anyone named Rodney in their Claims department because they seem well practiced in dodging responsibility for their not doing the one thing clients sign up for--protecting belongings. Very poor business and even poorer customer service including no moral compass or accountability. Other reviews have claimed fraud, from my experience with Callbox Storage, fraud is a spot-on description of their business plan. read more

If you believe that good people make a successful business, then Jabob, Jason and their helper Kevin, represent an amazingly customer-centric company. These gentelmen went above and beyond my expectations. Due to budget constraints for possible multi-year storage, I had to stick to Callbox 5X5 space restriction. When I incorrectly estimated how many boxes would fit in that space, these sweet, patient guys helped me choose those boxes that would have to come off the truck. They even carried them to my car. The Callbox barcoding system made that process possible. I will be recommending Callbox to clients based not only on for the tremendous convenious of pickup and delivery of stored goods, but for their absolutely stellar customer service. Callbox was a perfect solution for me. I was not in a position to pack up my home and then make several trips to a self storage. I didnt even have the help of someone getting me to a self storage let alone carrying all that. Now there was a small fiasco in the beginning whereby I was quoted the wrong size storage for what I actually needed and therefore after their 2 hrs were up they wernt able to get all my things and had to come back the next day and initially charged me for tht 2nd trip which I objected to and after a cpl calls they indeed reimbursed my $40 for tht 2nd trip for which I appreciated. This company is a great concept for someone like me and I did my research prior to using them and had called them at least 3 to 4 times asking questions. The biggest selling point for me was tht they picked up your items for free and as long as you paid and/or kept your items with them for a minimum of 3 mos, then the delivery of your items would be free as well. So here I thought wow, they pick up for free, I pay for the storage for as long as they have it, (min 3 mos) and then when you're ready, they deliver your items back to you for free. Well I am now learning that is not the case. After having them deliver my items by the 28th of the month, I am advised now that I am still responsible to pay another whole month of storage for January, even tho I will have my items before the end of December. I dont think that is fair. This is not what I was told when I hired them back in July '18 soon after getting their bussiness started here in Phoenix. I can understand some sort of fee for delivery I guess but surely not a whole month of storage when they no longer will even have my stuff. I notice now as I re-review them as if I were to be a new client and to see if I misunderstood them, and I can now see how alot of their verbiage has changed now that they are a little more established here in Phoenix. So other than them having great professional movers and are friendly over the phone, they are subject to changing their policy at their whim and not much you can do about it when they have your belongings. I could have at least budgeted for this as opposed to being excited that I was gna knock out a monthly bill that I could surely do without. So, buyer Beware to the next new client. read more
