Review is up I was…read morerecently scammed out of nearly three thousand dollars after entering a contract with SafeShip. I contracted them for a cross-country move because they quoted me an impressively low rate. I was wary that the price was too good to be true, but the sales rep assured me that my deposit would be fully refunded if I experienced any lack of support. After persistent follow-up and repeated reassurances from the sales rep, I decided to give them a chance. Once I paid the deposit and signed the contract, communication completely stopped. I could not reach my sales rep, or anyone else at the company, over the following weeks to answer basic questions, including confirming a date for my move, which was quickly approaching. Despite their failure to return my calls or contact me to confirm logistics, my credit card company was unable to reimburse me because the contract is written to protect their business and does not clearly address communication requirements. After weeks of no response from SafeShip, I was forced to book another moving company, and I am now pursuing recovery of my deposit through small claims court. When I investigated their business after the fact, I found a large number of similar complaints, including reports filed with the BBB. I strongly recommend reviewing customer feedback across platforms before considering SafeShip, as they have a well-documented history of scamming customers.

This wouldn't be terrible, as they were decently polite, but then I was charged a "taping fee" for putting 3 pieces of tape on the package I had all prepared. This is a ridiculous charge, and I was embarrassed for them. I will never go there again with so many better options around.

Hire this company at your own risk…read more Via recorded phone call, Williams and Co. claimed they were professional piano movers, with properly trained employees, the proper equipment, and an air-conditioned truck. They arrived with two crew members (the owner's father-in-law and husband), a regular Budget rental truck, and no equipment sufficient to move our baby grand piano. A job that should have taken less than 2 hours plus 3.5 hours of transport took 12 hours, resulted in damage to the piano, and was not even completed because the crew could not reassemble the piano. The ~800 lb piano was left precariously and dangerously unsecured on its side on a standard, small four wheel dolly that was bowing under the weight (because they did not have the expertise to assemble it and turn it right side up) after we told them to stop before they further damaged the piano. I had to hire a piano technician to come to the house (who came on an emergency basis on his way to leaving for vacation and who this company is now claiming caused the damage) to properly assemble the piano and ensure no one got hurt. He was horrified. Thank goodness for good people in the world like him! I instructed Williams and Co. that we would not pay them until the damages were assessed, at which time I would pay a fair price for the move. We did not sign anything at the time of delivery. They signed the invoice as the customer two days after delivery and charged my card before damages were assessed without my permission. I have now filed a claim with my bank and the Better Business Bureau to dispute the charge and resolve this while the company is threatening criminal charges against me for "theft of services" and claiming that *I* committed fraud. This was the owner's statement to me: "Regardless of the matter, the fraudulent activity is coming from your end. Which, I will escalate to a criminal matter for theft of services if I see it fits." If it weren't so tragic, and if this hadn't cost me nearly $1,000, not including repair costs to the piano, this would be laughable.

My main complaint was that they did not have a truck large enough for my load. In addition, they could not load the last 10 feet of the truck because they knew it would be too heavy. They could have told me ahead of time that everything would not fit. When I asked what would happen, they did not tell me it would be an extra charge of over $2000 and that I would have to wait until they had a load headed my direction. It was over two weeks before I had all my boxes and furniture. Overall, it was a frustrating expensive experience.

I called the office multiple times after that and got tge same answer. Now it has been over 1 month and now they do not even answer e mails or calls. Do not use Flagler Movers or Lanco Movers, there are better options in the areas. Horrible customer care. They dont care about customers all they care about is collecting their monies. Shame that now a days companies like them do not care about the customer or customer,s belongings.

We were attracted to iShipItRight because the price was right, and we were extremely nervous because we'd never shipped overseas before, and as the adage goes, "you get what you pay for." Bottom line, iShipItRight exceeded any expectations we had and we will gladly step up for them. iShipItRight undercut the next competitor by $200, and MANY of them quoted us nearly twice the amount iShipItRight did or more! Liezy in Sales guided us thru the process, made it super simple, and put our minds at ease. She spelled out precisely how much each step cost and pointed out what they couldn't cover and may be extra if Germany did not like x, y, or z. She also explained the insurance, and everything was crystal clear. Plus the down payment of only $500 to get things moving was an affordable bargain. As time got closer to the move. obstacles came up. Our stuff had to be picked up from two different locations, Germany was asking for an exhaustive inventory while the country was going back into lockdown, and we had to navigate the tricky holiday season when absolutely everything in Germany shuts down for days. Our nerves were shot. That's when we met Xiomara in iShipItRight's Operations and she understood our obstacles perfectly. She set up a plan that was exactly what we needed, and guided us thru writing the list. She even checked my work! The plan had a hundred moving parts. iShipItRight acts on your behalf and hires subcontractors to pick up your stuff, palettize it, transport it to port, store it as needed, ship it overseas, receive it overseas, get it thru Customs, and ship it to your door. It was maddening to imagine. Atop our personal move, our stress levels were thru the roof. A couple times, we did not hear back from them as quickly as we would have liked, needing confirmation to our confirmations of confirmations, so we really appreciated Hannah the team coordinator for excellence hands holding and babysitting. We realized our stress the toll the move was taking on us and how many things iShipItRight was managing on our behalf. Hannah became like a friend as she reassured you what was up and when, and it was the nicest part of the process. We looked them up out of paranoia that our stuff wouldn't vanish like Titanic and saw poor reviews from couples just like us because their shipment was held at the receiving port or foreign customs or damaged in transport, and we had the same worries, but still remembered these had been explained as possible risks by iShipItRIght. They're not lying. You're dealing with foreign governments and companies--some of them are not going to like your shipment, and charge extra just to look at it--that is not iShipItRight's fault. They are newcomer on the logistics scene, and family owned and operated. Given the complexity of what they do, we came to respect their work greatly, and are standing up for them. They stood up for us too. The receiving company in Germany came across like they weren't paying attention or didn't read our emails or didn't have time for us... and tried to DOUBLE CHARGE us for customs, storage, and delivery! One phone call to Hannah and she had them sorted out within a day. Everything arrived when they said it would arrive, and perfectly intact, even the most fragile things, dry and clean. Frankly it was freaking amazing. Yes, it is a funny feeling in a family business because there is a large cast of characters and a Wimbledon of call transfers. Some shipping companies bragged to us about their price, and others bragged about their experience, but mostly they gave us the creeps. Nobody felt as honest or right as Hannah, Xiomara, and Liezy. They were great! So fair is fair: iShipItRight is pretty awesome! They'll be who we use for our next overseas move.

Pick up was early December and delivery was targeted for the end of January. Managing clearing customs was included in contract and my payment. They lost track of my belongings in March, telling me they were in Amsterdam, but a shipper in Dublin was kind enough to tell me they were in Dublin. iShip it Right did not clear customs, meaning I had to scramble to find documents proving it was a transfer of residency for me and my family. Although I provided iShip it right everything they had asked for ahead of time. Then I had to arrange and pay again for delivery from Dublin to my home. I finally got my belongings in July of 2022, and that was only because the Irish company where they were stored helped me out. I do not recommend using iShip it Right in any way. DO NOT USE THEM. Poor communication, no updates, not answering calls or emails, lot's of excuses. I got my belongings 8 months after pick up. Save yourself a lot of stress, unexpected cost, and time by looking elsewhere!!
