We had to use temporary storage (2 months), and I highly recommend Extra Space Storage on Bay Area Blvd. The manager, Kelly, was very nice and greeted us moving in and out with cold bottled water. The unit was clean and the inside temperature was good, and there is plenty of room to load/unload, even though RVs and boats line the perimeter. Kelly credited our account for the lock we didn't need because we already had one. I liked that there is only one exit gate near the office. The only odd thing is that the exit keypad is on Bldg. 5 as you exit, so you have to pay attention! Overall, I would highly recommend this property for storage. read more

I rented a space in late October, 2022, to store my boat trailer. Introductory rate was $50 / month. Things were good for 2 months. Then, in January, 2023, I received notice of the Tate doubling to $100/month. Although this is legal, per the contract, I think it is crappy business. If you plan on doubling the rate after 2 months, just come clean and tell us that the rate will likely double in 2 months. So, I moved my trailer to a place for $75 / month and the rate will be good for at least a year. I will not do business with Extra Spaces ever again. read more

I would have given it a 5 star but my unit leaked. Lucky for me I stopped by after a rain just to check out the unit. Staff was extremely friendly until I wanted the leak fixed so I could move stuff inside. I was told I would be able to move things in within a few days but then was contacted about leaving a key so the leak could be fixed. I questioned if it was just going to be taped or fixed from the top. I felt this conversation was a little on the rude side. But the leak was fixed and that is why I gave it 4 stars. I had a unit at this storage facility for four months when they then raised my rent significantly. I think they get you in only to raise the rent after you have moved your stuff in and have become used to it. read more
