On the day we had to move, she went out of her way to be helpful and kind to my husband (who was driving the uhaul) when we ran late and had other things come up. On a stressful, emotional day, she took care of us. And when we moved OUT of storage a month later when my mom went into Assisted Living, she replied with, "I'm always happy when tenants' plans are proceeding as hoped. I feel better about our business here when I know we're helping people move forward!" How nice is that? The facility is super clean, easy to get into, bright, our heated unit was in excellent condition, and I felt the fee was reasonable. But it was the PERSONAL TOUCH that made the experience worth it. I called to cancel the next day & the manager was rude & essentially said, "too bad, you paid for immediate move-in, we consider you moved in, no refund." That being said, it's important to recognize the resolution was that we were given a final decision and told by the GM no additional consideration would be given despite our concerns. When my husband entered the building the front secretary was not the friendliest. She said they were all booked. We went back to our car to double check the online platform.
