I would not recommend. Of the 3 movers, 2 seemed very good. The third didn't seem to pay as much attention, and banged into things. When I phoned about the damage several times I was told that the Company would take care of it. It has been 2 months now, and I haven't heard from them. I am going to go ahead and pay to get the repairs done. The movers left a furniture pad in my back yard. I phoned several times to ask them to come remove it, but they never did. On the last call I was told to put it in the trash. It was soaking wet and weighed a lot, probably 50 pounds. I am elderly. I finally managed to get it into the trash bin. I am lucky I didn't injure my back again, but I should have used a different moving company. read more

Lock up your valuables if you hire these guys . I will NEVER hire, or recommend two men and a truck. Movers are 95% felons, the company makes the workers sacrifice their body, take all the profits then put it on YOU as the customer to tip / pay them properly. expect to fork over an extra 100$ bucks as a standard on top of what they quote you or you will get massive attitude and stink eye from the movers. there is no actual "schedule" (unless you're the first house of the day) and they just take any job they can and overload everything instead of actually having a nice fresh crew show up on time. You will get burnt out guys 1-2 hours late ready to fall over on their 3rd move of the DAY. This is the SHOPS problem, transferred again to the customer I would never hire 2 men and a truck after what I've seen at this location. Just know when you hire 2 men and a truck, you are getting the bottom of the barrel. read more

Need assistance!! My boyfriend and I had this Two Men and a Truck move some of our belongings on Feb 25th. It was a good experience until my boyfriend started getting horrible bites all over his body from the full size mattress your team moved for us. We realized they were bed bugs a day after, as he couldn't figure out why he was getting bit up all of a sudden. He was borderline anemic from the bites!! We have been to and stayed plenty of times at our new home, plus have never had bed bugs from our furniture at our former apartment either. This was clearly due to lack of cleaning the moving truck in between other customer moves. Mind you, we are in Olmsted falls, a very clean and safe area, not a run down area where bed bugs are common. This came from the truck where they go to all places around Cleveland. When I reached out to customer care, someone got back to me and tried saying it was our fault basically and that we were the only job that day and that they train their guys to check for bed bugs. That's total bull ****. You know you have multiple jobs a day and even if your guys check the truck, the bugs lay eggs that are not super visible to the eye. This compromises us, our whole house and our cat!! We are getting Terminix to come out on March 9th to spray all over our house. Terminix did an inspection and report and definitely thinks it's due to the movers, as this is extremely common and base on the timeline of events I told him. It's not a coincidence that the day we get movers, we get bit my bed bugs and they start showing up. Please rectify this issue asap as I deserve a full refund AND full coverage on the bill for Terminix. This is risking my cat's health and ours, and our entire house. I will get a lawyer involved if this is not handled. Really disgusted with this treatment. I need a response back asap, this needs to be treated with urgency. read more

Leaving from a not-so-great situation, these guys were SO professional and AMAZING!!! They were CRAZY professional and just worked their butts off, even in masks in this time! I don't know if y'all will ever fully appreciate how much you saved me yesterday with that fast, efficient move! they wrapped all my furniture well (I have a few antiques and mid century pieces and some odd shapes) and they took great care of everything! Thank you again!!! A little lore cost went a LONG WAY in care, time and professionalism! I can't say it enough! Thank you!!! Will definitely recommend and use y'all anytime I need moved again! If I could write a 0 I would. I made calls to the location in Streetsboro where I set the move up from. I called to ask if they had found a large bag with all of my sweaters, pants and jeans still on one of the moving trucks. The individual whom answered (CHRISTINA) informed me that someone from AKRON would return my call. Joe called and informed me that he would ask the guys who worked on the trucks if they saw anything left but the trucks were cleaned in the morning after my move and nothing was found. Joe never returned a call to me. I called again, left a message for Joe. Joe did not return my call. I called again, spoke with Christina, informed her that I was not happy leaving yet another message for Joe, is there anyone else to speak with. She informed me that the Streetsboro office cannot help me only AKRON. I informed her that i was not going to accept that my bags was not on the truck and I needed to know what the next steps were. my move was Dec 22, and I have no pants other than sweats. Joe called me and told me the most they could do for me was offer me $100 for my clothing. Approx 12 sweaters, 5 pr of pants and 5 jeans. $100!! Allow me to also tell you that we signed a contract for full replacement value of items and paid a deductible for this! Do not do this... its not right. . so, after informing Joe that there is no way that 100 is enough to cover even my pants, he said ok 200. really? replacing jeans for 200 right now is impossible! I am trying to understand why people treat people so crappy. I said no. He said I need to speak with my boss and call you back. Joe called back and I missed the call. When I was able to reach him he said he can go as high as $250. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with and he said no. so, I let him know I would be going to the BBB and spreading the word that they are unfair to deal with. My clothes were lost. approx 1K in value in a large bag and they should be paying for this. I asked for 500. find a common ground DONT insult me. especially after I paid over 300 for a deductible. ! Took advantage of my two best friends.. they moved a one bed room ranch to a small apartment 8 minutes away and it took them over 9 hours!! It is also called "two men and a truck" and they still sent THREE people and still took them double the time! My friends did all the moving! And they also ruined their home they just sold with all the mud from their shoes!!! No plastic anywhere.. scratched the walls and their things! their were no appliances that needed to be moved or any heavy furniture as they just bought this all brand new! It was all easy things in boxes... I would never recommend this company to anyone. Way over priced for very little help read more

Scam. Beware. Hired them to move a few pieces of furniture. We then decided to rent a truck and do it ourselves instead. There is no set fee for cancellation. I understand $50 or something like tgWe tried to cancel and they said they were keeping our entire deposit ($230) to not show up. Instead, I had them go ahead and come move 1 cabinet and the charge was $170. We actually paid less, to have them move something. We waived the damage insurance which was the difference in the money we got back. They were even going to pocket our damage insurance for not coming at all. SCAM. Good thing our deposit wasn't $500 or they would have kept the whole thing. Watch out, they will nickel and dime you. Update: there is no reason to review the cancellation fee now bc we actually had to use the service to get part of our money back. Everybody beware!!! read more

The men who did the actual moving were terrific. But they did not put the sleep number bed together properly. I have called the office on e market st akron ohio 4 times to nicely ask them to fix our bed. I never got a call back. I will not use them again because they dont follow up on requests. read more

LOVE this company!! I have use them for two moves, one for myself and one for my 89-year-old aunt. They are so conscientious and kind. For my move, it was due to a divorce. They agreed to stop at my ex-husband's parents house to pick up items that he was going to be taking, bring them to the house that he and I lived in, unload, and then take my items to my New house. I just recently moved my aunt from home that she shared with her sister for almost 50 years, into a senior apartment. It was a very bittersweet day, and the guys were just amazing. They were so sweet to my aunt and took such good care of everything. I would never use any other company other than 2 men and a truck. All these good reviews and I'm the one that gets screwed over. I spoke to Charles last week, set it all up and was told the guys would be there between 9 & 10 this morning. I even called this morning, spoke to Charles again to let him my know my building number. I feel like he must have just blown me off because no one showed and no one called. When I called to find out why, RaeAnn (I think) said there was a scheduling screw up and said she'd send the first available crew out, but that won't be until about 2 - 4 this afternoon! She promised a 10% discount, but that doesn't get my washer and dryer here! Or my bed.... Hopefully, I can say something nice about the movers, but as of right now I'm very disappointed. *edit* The movers showed up by 2:30, which was nice. I didn't have to wait until later in the afternoon. They were very nice and fast. I was nice, but pretty unhappy and they maintained a friendly, professional attitude. Kudos to Jacob and DiAngelo. Good young men. However, I was unable to utilize them to the fullest because I was in a hurry to get to my evening job and couldn't reschedule because I had already taken off my day job that day. So we had to put our bed together and move the smaller bed into the spare bedroom, which is something I would have used the movers for. This is not the movers fault. This was due to the scheduling error. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this company. I think maybe they've gotten too big and need to get better in-office help. Rae Ann was helpful, but she wasn't who I spoke to most of the time. I'm giving the company three stars because if it had not been for the scheduling, I would have been happy. I can't recommend this company because the scheduling error had a major effect on how the move happened. read more

Absolutely terrible service both during and after my move. We hired them mainly to move my large corner desk that I repainted myself because it's fairly bulky and we were afraid of damaging the work I had put into it. When the movers arrived, rather than use the ramp on their truck they tried to just lift the desk directly in and ended up arguing with each other and dropping it, which ended up damaging it quite a bit. When we filed a damage report they refunded us the absolute minimal amount because we only paid for minimal coverage. We thought we were hiring professionals so we did not think we needed anything beyond minimal coverage. Maybe next time they should be smart enough to use the ramp on their truck rather than try to lift a large and heavy item into the back, and also be professional enough to not argue with each other about if they can lift it or not. read more

Used this company to move my mother out of state. We had everything packed, and ready to go. They guys were there on time, courteous, quick, and professional. They made it to my mothers new place on time, everything was in tact, unloaded the truck, placed things where asked, and put her bed back together. Could not of asked for a more professional company. I hired two men and a truck for my move of a 2 bedroom house. I was quoted 5-7 hours for the move and it ended up taking 11 hours. It was quite obvious I was sent a crew with multiple guys that didn't know the first thing about moving. My inventory did not change between when their guy came out to get a full inventory and give me my quote, and the day of the actual move. It was not a crew that was prepared to move items, or disassemble items that needed to be taken apart. Additionally some items were not moved because they either wouldn't fit on the truck or they couldn't determine how to move the items out of the house. At the end of the move they attempted to charge me an additional $1000.00 because the move took so much longer, which I refused to pay. They also just left a bunch of items in my garage as the job took to long and they were done for the day, so I ended up having to have additional help to move the items into my house. They stacked my personal items on top of their moving pads and left them in my house. I mentioned that in the survey I completed that ranked everything incredibly low and the person that called me about the survey was only interested in getting their pads back. I was very shocked at how horrible this move went when I paid over $2000 for professionals. I chose Two men and a truck because of reputation, but they certainly did not live up to that, not even close. If you are looking for a professional moving company that will complete the job well look somewhere else, as the crew they send out might just be 2 boys in a truck instead of men. read more

I moved from one 2 bed apt to another 2 bed apt only a cpl miles away. Scheduled move on sat. Six men show up in 2 big trucks. I had everything marked which room to put it in at new apt. All boxes were taped & marked. The crew leader walked around checking everything off his list. Then said "this is a lot of stuff. I don't know if we have time to move all this." I asked "what do you mean? There's 6 men & 2 big trucks!" He said " you shouldn't have scheduled this on a sat because were only working half a day." I said I didn't know that no one told me that when I scheduled it. (I found out later that was not true.) They proceeded to take everything out & lined it up in the hallway of apt bldg & picked out what they wanted to take & what was left he said they weren't takIng. I said I'm paying you to move everything and the trucks are only half full! He started to walk away & I said you can't leave this stuff out in the hallway! He sent the other men back in & they returned a whole carload of stuff that I had to move later myself. They charged me $900 and refused to take everything even tho their trucks were only half full. Moving is a nightmare, we all get that. Please do not add to your nightmare by hiring this company to move your stuff. Whilst the staff is courteous enough, they could all use some training in how to pack a truck. Or pick up a box or a chair or a couch for that matter as very little was picked up at all by these yahoos.The first two guys spent most of their time in the back of the truck while my sister and I boxed up the stuff they should have been packing. We knew right out of the gate we made a big mistake. While they were dilly dallying around we had packed up our jeep and they had moved four things. I ended up telling them forget the boxes just get the big stuff as the "no hitch in the giddy up" stance the men had taken did not bode well. As it turns out, they sent two more men out to unload a half full truck that would have taken a gang of toddlers two hours. Turns out the whole endeavour ended up taking six hours, they quoted me four and I paid nearly seven hundred dollars.... My advice to you, kind reader, is this... Go to campus and get four college guys and pay them a benny each.... Hell, go get two methheads from the corner, chances are they will end up doing a better job than these sods did. All in all, a not so epic event that I will not repeat with two men and a truck. Caveat Emptor. read more

I hired this company to move a small amount of furniture from my apartment to the house that I moved into. They were very efficient and took good care of my belongings. The final bill came out to be well under the estimate that I was given over the phone. They also showed up on time! Right at the one hour window that I was given.
