I am writing this review so late because of the awesome interaction I had just a few days ago! We have always paid our unit on time, and this month, we didn't realize our payment didn't process. We had been waiting for a new debit card to come in the mail, and because of this, we incurred a late fee on our account because the payment was unable to process. I left the office a voicemail to ask if they could waive that late fee for me, and they did it, no questions asked! I didn't even have to speak with a live person/the manager. That's top tier customer service! The only downside to Extra Space Storage in general are the rates increasing every now and then, but I have no issue with that knowing my items are in a safe and secure facility. He was able to help get a unit that was the right size and climate controlled at his facility for me, and he helped get me a unit set up at the Wallace location as well. I don't see very much customer service anymore, but it was very refreshing to see that it isn't lost. He has the customer service that everyone needs to have at their business and get back to the old days when it was the right thing for all the customers. The company got 2 units sold to a customer and at 2 facilities. The company should be thankful for this employee he is making them money and I will be renting more in the future. Unfortunately, the package was never delivered due to an issue with the address formatting. I contacted the store for assistance and to request a refund or resolution, but I was informed that no refund would be provided, and I did not receive an apology or clear explanation. I paid for a service that did not occur, and the lack of customer support and accountability was disappointing. For a service that handles time-sensitive shipments, I expected more proactive communication, verification of address details before shipping, and a willingness to resolve the situation when the service failed. I hope Goin' Postal improves its address verification processes and customer service practices so that future customers do not have the same experience.
