They offer both open bed and enclosed trailers for rent. They normally have available the smaller 10ft box truck and the large 24 ft box truck. Open and enclosed trailers are hit or miss from this location. The fees to rent are normally $19.95 for the 10ft plus 79 cents per mile, or $39.99 plus 79 cents per mile for the 24 ft box truck. They offer one way or round trip options, either you your proof of insurance, or purchase additional insurance for a few dollars more. They have 24 hr drop off if you return after hours with the U-Haul, just drop the keys thru the slot in the building. It takes about 20 minutes or more to go thru the paperwork, get your driver's license and check the truck out before leaving the facility. U-Haul can also install a hitch on your vehicle for about $150 if it needs one. They sell packing supplies, boxes of various sizes, packing tape, and more. You can rent a dolly for about $7 extra if needed for moving heavy items.

About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

The team was young, inexperienced, and untrained. They didn't label most of what they packed and what they did was mislabeled: a bread machine marked as a deep fryer; an air compressor labeled as a spray painter. Our fine art--an irreplaceable piece with sentimental and monetary value--was carried by the hanging string and placed on the truck unprotected. TVs and computers were loaded upside down. Sharp kitchen tools like a mandolin were packed alongside flip-flops. Castor oil, cooking oil, liquid hand soap and mouthwash were dumped into boxes/spilled b/c of the lack of care. Furniture and lamps were cracked.
