I'm not sure. I was dumb and they were nice about it. They were helpful. There aren't a lot of options for fabric shopping compared to when we had a pro-business President but this is where we are, there are less stores with less stuff than 2016. I felt that was ridiculously high & expressed that opinion. Then not being up on my math skills I asked how much cording I'd need for a 14" round pillow on both sides. She cut me 28". I put in a $300 order on March 25th and didn't get an order confirmation email. However, the funds showed as pending on my credit card. I still hadn't heard anything on March 27th, so I reached out to Yellow Door Quilt Store on Facebook Messenger. Received a one word reply: Monday. Monday came and went, and I messaged Wednesday asking if they had shipped. Crickets. I messaged again at the end of Wednesday telling them if I didn't hear from them by end of day Thursday, I was filing a dispute with my credit card. Crickets. Thursday afternoon, today, I saw that they had seen my message in Messenger, and asked, No reply? They immediately responded saying they didn't have the inventory and had cancelled the transaction so no dispute was necessary. I looked at my CC and sure enough, it had been refunded the day previous. I asked why they had said they were shipping Monday, and they answered that they were going to CHECK on Monday, and apologized for not telling me Tuesday that they didn't have the inventory. When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend

But it seems near impossible to find that exact fabric except on Etsy were people were charging $20 for a half yard piece and I needed at least 2 yards continuous. I stumbled across this website in my searching and they had the exact fabrics that I needed for a totally reasonable price. I ordered it, And then found a second fabric I also wanted to order but the website wouldn't let me order the whole piece so I called first thing in the morning. The young man who answered the phone quickly found the exact fabric I wanted measured it for me, added it to the order I had placed the night before, which he had already packaged, and then even combined shipping for me! Shipping was fast and I am so in love with these lovely fabrics! I would love to be in the area to visit this fabric store!

While the store sold the most well known brands, there were also tread and floss brands I never heard of before. This would also be a great place to shop if you need gift ideas for your family members and friends who enjoy needle crafts. The staff person was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. She was fun to talk with and was able to answer all my questions. The store also sells different fabrics too for stitching on. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there was a little too much merchandise here. It was hard to look at everything in a short amount of time. However, this would be a great place to go if wanting to find your happy place and escape from the everyday for a while. Next time I shop here, I'll plan ahead so I can spend more time looking through different patterns.

Not only is the staff professional (and Starla is gorgeous to boot), but patient, and able to provide a quality end product. Not only was the lettering perfect, but they managed to duplicate my custom font ... I can't praise this company enough for their professionalism and quality workmanship.
