Our move is not a cheap one, and when turning over all of your earthly possessions and a chunk of your savings, you have no choice but to err on the side of caution. That being said, Jamel was an absolute delight to deal with. He spent 2 days corresponding with me about our move, the inventory, and explaining every single penny we would be charged. I cant say enough positive things about his professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately for PMS, I am not much of a gambler. They had a four person crew, carts, packing supplies, and a huge truck. They were also fast once on location. What I really appreciated, though, is that they were all very friendly and polite. On moving day, the guy in charge informed me it's additional for boxes and tape and they changed the price. $5 per ONE OF TAPE. $4 FOR ONE BOX. Then he asked if that was ok. By that time, it was too late to argue with them and change. Time management: not the best time efficient. They were extremely slow. Took them 3 hours to move 2 beds, and sectional with a few other small things. Organization: typically one guy should be taking things apart and wrapping and taping while the other two move and load. However, on multiple occasions, all the guys would be away from the apartment. Definitely lacking organization and efficiency. (Un)Cleanliness: they placed couch cushions on the bottom of the truck apparently without any covers. By the time they moved it to new place, all cushions had debris. I spent an extra hour cleaning the crap off. And of course no apology from them. Upon arrival to the new place, I told them no shoes inside the house and offered them shoe covers to use when inside the house. And what do they do? They put shoe covers on, walked outside while wearing them and then walked back inside the house. I had to tell them on multiple occasions, shoe covers are FOR INSIDE OF THE HOUSE ONLY. They did not grasp the idea. Preparedness: they only brought couple of blankets and three appliance dollies. If I didn't have dollies form to stack boxes on, it would've taken them an extra 2 to 3 hours. Overall, poor experience. I wouldn't recommend them. Even though the value appeared tempting but with the speed they move, the value is overrated.
