Jimmed my storage and several others and was not seen carrying all of our items out, no finger prints and no one was seen leaving. Palafox Self Storage has both of these and more. The price is the cheapest in the whole town and the manager Monkela truly cares about her facility and takes care of the premisies. I kept my stuff here for 5 months and it remained in tact and in good shape, the storage area was very clean and remained dry. The only thing I would warn against would be the area is a little tight, so make sure you have someone helping you with a large truck. Also these units are not climate controlled, but I did not need anything like that for what I was storing. Last thing is that the online bill pay did not work for me, so I had to go to the storage unit or call the manager on the phone. Luckily she is incredibly receptive, even on her days off and will take payment right over the phone and mail a receipt to you.

While packing up my old apartment, they broke the living room light fixture and did not fix it or take responsibility. When we arrived at my new place, I was suddenly told I would be charged $1,000 for only eight items. This was never clearly communicated beforehand. I felt like I had no choice but to pay because they were essentially holding my belongings hostage until payment was made. It only got worse from there. When unloading, they told me one of the dressers was "too heavy" and that I would need to unload it and bring everything inside myself because they weren't going to do it. I paid a moving company to move my belongings -- not to do the labor myself. Once everything was inside, I discovered: * My dining room chair was completely broken and unusable * My couch had two holes in it * One of my dressers had a front leg completely snapped off They didn't offer to pay for any of the damage just said they would contact the workers and get back with me. They claimed the dresser was already damaged when they arrived, which is absolutely untrue. I have pictures proving it was not damaged beforehand. I contacted their supervisor as instructed and sent photos. He was no help at all and simply responded with "sorry" while insisting I had been told the pricing -- which I was not. The entire interaction felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. This company was late, damaged my property, overcharged me without proper communication, and refused to take accountability. I am highly disappointed and extremely frustrated with how this company is managed. I strongly recommend choosing another moving company.
