I was combining households with another family member so we were working with having to fit my furniture into her existing home and they were able to make it work which I thought was going to be impossible! We also had some items that needed to be hauled away and when I asked if they had a referral for me, Jonathan (the owner) offered to give us a quote on those items so we could have them removed that day as well. In addition to all of the amazing service that we received, they were by far the best value without all of the crazy tacked on fees that so many movers put on a move. I cannot begin to recommend Harder's Movers enough and will continue to do so and will defintely use them in the future for moves or when we need larger items to be hauled away. They don't charge by the hour, and honored the quote they gave me even though once we got to the apartment building, it ended up being kind of a hassle to get in and out of with large furniture. They also made sure that all boxes were left in the proper room and all furniture was exactly where I wanted it. They made several phone calls to let me know their arrival status and was available at last minute (since I was in a pinch from the previous moving company). They gave me an estimated time of arrival and as time went on they gave me updates and ended up being early. When they showed up they were personable and friendly. I only needed loading help and we discussed the best way to load everything and making sure nothing got damaged during the move to San Diego. They packed everything in like an intricate puzzle and took very good care of my property. One of my fears with unknown labor is how they will handle your stuff. No worries with these guys. They display the upmost care and professionalism. I'm only giving 4 stars because they are quite a bit more expensive than other companies I found online which I mentioned to them. They advised me to be wary of other companies with lower rates as they have several hidden charges that their other clients had advised them (like charge per item loaded, per step, etc.) Overall, I was very pleased with their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
