I needed a storage unit for a few months for some garage kept items, like a snowblower, a pair of…read moretires, a few empty coolers etc. I got a mailer at home with all the wonderful features included: a reasonable monthly fee, no long term contract, video surveillance, free move-in truck, month to month. The place is spotless and new. Front desk personal were helpful, gave me the tour and quoted me a monthly price. As I'm about to sign, they tell me that my first payment is due now and its about 3 times the monthly price. SCREECH to a halt. Pro-rated rest of this month, second month, service fee. What about the free-month? That's the third month. What? Where does it say that? Nowhere exactly, but that's included deep in the "some restrictions may apply" language around page 17 on the the little credit card pad. I say, "Never Mind". They say, "What?" Yup, cancel it. Call it off. They offer to give me second month free. I repeat, they offer it. I agree, so now we're down to pro-rated one month and next month free, plus service fee. I put my stuff on a cart, take it up the elevator, load. Low and behold, I get an e-mail survey and respond that I think their "one month free" deal is deceptive. I get a personal call from a director level person who advises me that I'm not welcome. After my "free month", come get your stuff. I call to come get my stuff and they inform me that access by drive-in is limited to certain hours on Saturday and that elevator is not useable. (This is a brand new facility) They don't actually say this, they say something like, "Foot Traffic Only", which I asked them to clarify. So, I said, I have to bring my snowblower down three flights of stairs? They got mad when I said I'd put it on one of their carts and push it down the three flights unattended. It will be much easier to roll the tires down. I hung up on them. Going to get my stuff a week early. I can safely say that their biggest selling point is "We won't raise your prices every 3 months like Public Storage". PS: I wonder how many patrons fell down on their super slick drive-in coating. Maybe that's what they're repairing. I don't know.

They did have a note explaining the system issues but the numbers that were available to try to help you just gave you the same gate code that you had and did not help and also told you to reference people in the office, but there was never anyone in the office even though I stopped by several times during that day now June 28 I've moved out of two storage units I had and now I'm just trying to find somebody to hand turn the keys into hopefully I won't be billed for July and hopefully this gets resolved

On the way back to return it, the other cashier apparently threatens me and sprays everything I touch with chemicals and started pointing her bottle of chemicals threatening to spray me with them and then goes ahead and continues to as I take pictures of the keys I dropped off. I pushed the bottle away for me and her hand and she tells me that I hit her while on the phone to the cops when I never did. She actually committed assault by spraying me with caustic chemicals that she would not disclose and I plan to file criminal charges against her. Keep in mind it is not illegal to not wear a mask in this area especially if you have medical issues which I do. However, caustic chemicals when you have issues are another story. Needless to say, the truck was fine but the rental experience in using the app to not be in contact with anyone is severely flawed.

On Easter Sunday, he lost control of the truck, smashing into our camper. Our camper was totaled and other campers were damaged. Jen didn't notify us until the next day at approx 9am. Don called my husband that Friday to sell us a camper for $16k, that had duct tape on it and needed new tires. They had it listed on FB marketplace for $15, 500. per the adult female passenger, "he's usually a better driver". This wasn't the first time the kid was driving in the lot, just the first time something happened. I missed our Mother's Day camping trip and our Memorial Day weekend trip. We had to dip into our savings to get another camper, to bridge the gap from insurance. At no point during this process did Jen or her father ever try to make things right, they only made attempts to benefit and shield themselves.

Today,as I was leaving my unit after picking up supplies for a job, I saw a homeless person climb out of a boat inside the unused 2nd gate. Further, there was a homeless person sleeping in a car inside the storage unit gates. This is not the first time I've been there early in the morning and been surprised to see homeless individuals skulking out of the buildings. The gates are wide open most mornings when I arrive. Not 'open' as in someone just drove through and they haven't closed yet. No, they are wide open and remain so for extended periods. This activity renders the business unsafe. I plan to engage my City Council member to ask Code Enforcement to start surprise inspections for code violations: use of storage units as 'housing', health code violations, and drug use.

When we arrived at the new home we did the same and walked through the new home and designated what items go to which room. It was a long day but the movers made it a all the better.
