I was thinking about taking the state exam for life/health in person at a testing center since I've…read morehad all kinds of issues with the online proctored exam; however, from these reviews about the testing centers, I won't be doing that either. My review is about the online experience I've had. Between PSI not sending me the link to launch the exam (twice), to when I was finally able to launch the exam and it glitched so that I couldn't get back into the exam. I've had to reschedule 3 times now. Each time I paid $53. They gave me a ticket to get a refund for the most recent time, but now when I call them, they don't answer. There's no hierarchy or corporate number you can call that works. Every agent is outsourced and foreign. It's extremely disturbing that a national exam seems fraudulent. I highly advise that everyone on here reports them to their attorney general because PSI needs to be investigated. I plan on doing so. I filed reports through my credit cards as well.

This is a testing center for multiple different types of exams. My wife had a test scheduled today…read more(2/16/19) at 2:30pm and they said to come 30 minutes early. We got there at 2, the center was closed. About 30 people showed up and still, the room was dark. We called the company and it took a while for the woman (Teresa) to understand what was going on. She spent a while thinking we were the employee. Then once she realized what was going on, she said that we needed to give up to 30 minutes for the proctor to show up. She then spoke to her supervisor who said that we all had to reschedule the exam. They gave no particular reason why the proctor did not show up, and we had planned our President's Day weekend around this exam and had come from 2 hours away to the nearest testing center. The only silver lining is that the rescheduling would not involve an additional fee. There was no warning that the test would be cancelled today. The weather was terrific - sunny and not particularly cold. We called a few days ago to make sure it wasn't going to be cancelled and they said it was all going to be fine and we would be notified, at the latest, in the morning if it got cancelled. Even though this is a one star review, it's not like we have any other choice but to reschedule since this company holds a monopoly on this particular exam we need to take. People are visibly upset and crying in the hallways. Happy President's Day, PSI. Update: We went back to the center on 3/2/19 and there were no major issues. Showed up at 7:30am and they did not let us in the building until 7:35am so there was a minor panicky moment that the same thing would happen again. But it was fine and she passed the test.

I first worked with Dr. Lynn Levine in 2007. It was immediately preceding the start of the…read morerecession and I was considering a career change that involved a huge commitment of time and money to complete additional education. I was on the fence as to whether or not the resulting opportunities would be worth my investment and thought I could use some professional assistance. Dr. Levine helped me successfully navigate this process. Through testing, interviews, and a good bit of "soul searching," she helped me make a sound decision, identify alternate career paths, and find a graduate program that could help me pursue new opportunities. Over the years since, Dr. Levine has provided me with meaningful professional and personal coaching and support, through completing a master's degree program, negotiating raises and promotions, two job changes, and significant personal traumas. I am one of her unusual clients - someone who has chosen to continue to see her over a prolonged period for various reasons - but most of her clients are short-term and limit their work to specific goals. Dr. Levine's manner is direct, honest, and supportive. She is resourceful and pragmatic. Her advice is rooted in years of experience and expertise. It takes a lot of work to make major life changes. Dr. Levine has been provided me with exceptional support, guidance, and motivation to achieve success and even deal with the occasional defeat. I recommend Dr. Levine to anyone seeking assistance in a career or educational change.

She took the time and asked me about my problem areas, pressure sensitivity, offered extra blankets, and choice of lotion/oil. The process well explained before she started. Throughout the session she checked on the pressure, temperature of the room, and how I'm feeling. If you have any particular area of concern they will use deep tissue techniques in that area while providing Swedish massage. After the massage homecare instructions were given. I had shoulder/back pain (from strained muscle) and after a few days the pains almost gone. Before you leave, they give a feedback form to rate the experience and the masseuse/masseur. This helps the students learn and improve. Definitely a great place to get massages and help out the students at the same.

Apparently the message wasn't relayed, which was disappointing because they called me when I was frantically looking for parking and questioned me about the call when I came in , insisting that no one else was answering the phone. It was a bit off putting but also made me question if I had called the correct place. To add, if I was late, I wouldn't get the full massage time because the clock started ticking at my alloyed appointment time, so I really wasn't up for explaining myself and missing out on something I was paying for. My massage itself was great. Professional and well executed. The entire time I was getting my massage, all I could think about was if I had called the wrong place to say I was running late. When I went back to the lobby to pay, I was told that someone else had indeed answered the phone and hadn't relayed the message until I was already getting my massage. So disappointing. I guess it soured my experience because I haven't made a second appointment, even with a $40 price point. So disappointing.

Although I stayed in the back I eavesdropped often to see how my niece was doing. Jocelynn is amazing with her young students. She engages with them in a way that they all seem to really enjoy; she jokes, she tells stories, she listens to them. In the middle of class she gives them a small break and does an art history lesson. I think it's wonderful that students get to see works of great artists. They talk about and discuss the work of the artist being discussed while eating a snack. She sells art supplies in her studio at a fraction of the price you'd get at the store, and she didn't push me to buy. As a matter of fact I really wanted to buy supplies and she told me to hold off until my niece was sure she wanted to stick with it and was comfortable. My niece had a good experience. Although she's an amazing self-taught artist Jocelynn taught her the correct way to use pencils and how that she should draw what she sees not what's in her head. There was a little bit of a back and forth with my niece insisting that she was doing it the right way but I'm telling you Jocelynn has the patience of Job. And I'm sure she's used to dealing with artists who are stuck in their ways (even if they are only 9 years old). But all in all she enjoyed the class. Jocelynn gave her individual attention (I don't know how but all of the students received one on one time with her). Watching and listening to Jocelynn and my niece in class confirmed that getting her into an art class is the right decision because it has to be easier to develop good habits as an artist now than later.

I've had the privilege of studying with Jocelynn for 4 years and have learned a great deal from her. She is an experienced oil artist and sculptor and uses her many talents to instruct students in a variety of mediums in every class. I began instruction with Jocelynn as an adult learner, kids out of the house, and my only experience was drawing with a No. 2 pencil. Jocelynn has taught me how to see, how to draw, to work with values, with dark and light. She has taught me color theory, and how to use it in a composition. I have learned to work in charcoal and chalk, oils, and pastel pencils. Jocelynn is very reasonably priced, making classes very accessible and enabling me to afford to take two and sometimes three two-hour class per week. My Studio LLC has been a real find for me! Please treat yourself to a visit to Jocelynn's artist and school web pages. Jocelynn's work is available to view and student work is available on the school site.
