Been bringing my cars to them for 10+ years. Initially been pleased with their service. Not sure if it has anything to do with recent management/branding changes but my last two cars serviced by them was less than satisfactory plus costs increase. Two days ago, I picked up my SUV after a full detail. Carpeted floor mats were not vacuumed, as requested, so I asked them to do them again. I picked up the car after hours to find that the floor mats looked the same as before. Note: these were like new floor mats still in the plastic bag. I said they don't need a deep cleaning, just a vacuum. I said they could either leave them in the back or replace the WeatherTech mats and put them in the back. They choose to leave the WeatherTech mats in place and put the carpet floor mats in the back. When I opened the driver door, the first thing I noticed was gum stuck on the WeatherTech label (which was definitely not there when I dropped off the car). I scraped it off with my fingernail. I also noticed a stain on my rear passenger seat that I wiped off with a rag and water. I called the next morning to speak to Michelle about my disappointment. She called back a day later and said, "There's no way one of my guys would have left gum on the floor mats." She also said she vacuumed the carpet floor mats personally and regarding the stain that I removed with a damp cloth, she said she knows nothing about that. Translation: I'm a liar. Outcome: I'll be taking my business elsewhere. For $370, I expect and deserve way better. read more

Extremely unhappy. I ordered a bed mat for pickup truck to be shipped to the store in 2 business days (even states such in paperwork). I call 4 days later and it still has not been shipped from the store in CA. Next time I will not give my business locally but will give it to Amazon where I know I will receive my purchase in a timely manner!!! read more

This group was awesome on time. I let them know I had an important appt at 3 p.m. that I didn't know about when I made the appt. with them. I told them I was willing to take a taxi but that if they got the car done early, that would be awesome. The scheduled end time was going to be four-ish but they said they'd do their best (which is understandable). They called me at noon to say the car was done. I was incredibly grateful. This was my first experience getting my car detailed and I've gotta say my car looked spotless when I got in. I didn't know it could look that good again. If you get your car done here...plz don't let them drive your vehicle. They are taking cars of customers and when pulling the car into their business they are making an illegal left turn from capital road heading north, into their driveway, claiming that it is a mixed turn lane. It is not. It is a double yellow turn only lane to turn onto trosper road. Nearly twice this week I've almost rear ended 2 different customer cars. The management was rude, unprofessional, not apologetic at all. These guys poop in their own neighborhood. Bad. Bad. Bad. The proper way to enter is eastbound off of trosper before capital Blvd. read more

Went to get an estimate for a detail that i was willing to pay for,then asked the girl about warranty repair for the linex in my truck bed that i had done in Tacoma about 10 years ago her whole attitude changed! If linex offers the warranty and you sell linex products why was it such a big deal? She just didn't want to deal with it at that point. So one other time in the past i visited kinda get the feeling this company has a very poor attitude towards customer service!!! Will not spend a dime in their place. ): read more

My vehicle was damaged (the heads up display became pixelated) after I took my car to be detailed. Extreme Auto was very difficult to work with. Both the manager and owner were very defensive and unprofessional. When I was on the phone with the owner to try to explain what happened I could barely get a word in because he interrupted and talked over me the entire conversation. Though its not as bad, my car still smells like fish (from a spilled cooler of crab). They offered to ozone for me again but I don't trust them anymore since they don't take responsibility for their actions. I would not recommend this company. read more

I brought my wife's car here to be detailed. Her car was a total mess before I brought it in. A dump almost. These guys made her car look and smell like new. We were completely impressed. Easy to set up an appt with them. They had her car completed quickly. I think the price was appropriate as well! read more

I've used them several times, and although they are very expensive, I have been satisfied. But my latest experience was less than stellar. First, there was confusion about my appointment date, said it was for a week later than what I understood when I booked my visit by phone. They were not very sympathetic, and would not give an inch or make any accommodation to get me in earlier. I had purchased their top package for my car (actually a gift from my wife) which I believe was around $250. That's quite a bit to spend for a tiny sub-compact, and it took them only short time to complete the detail job as would be expected for such a small vehicle. Then when I came in to pick up the vehicle, they dinged me another $40 for "pet hair" found in an area of the carpet. I do have a dog, and he has been in the vehicle exactly once for a very short trip. I suppose there might have been a tiny bit of pet hair, but not enough for another $40 charge in my opinion (maybe 5-10 minutes of extra vacuum time). $40 penalty seems quite excessive. Overall they do a good job, but are a VERY EXPENSIVE place to do business and not customer-oriented. read more

We have used Extreme twice. The first time was in 2013 for inside car detailing and although the car was clean inside the floor mats were ruined. They were brand new mats from the car dealership and they said the dye in the mat bled through when they power washed them. Now we decided to use them again as my husband wanted to have my car detailed and the outside waxed for my birthday. When we went to pick up our car they said they could not do anything with the outside. There technician said, "We tried and tried but the paint was too faded." This is not possible and unacceptable. There were swirl marks on the hood and burn areas throughout where they must have put some kind of acid wash solution because it took the clear coat off.. The finish on the car was ruined. We took the car back to talk to them and they were not very sympathetic at all and would not make any accommodation for our car. They said they did nothing to the outside of the car but wash it. We also had to pay for their top package of detailing. We are a retired 75 year old couple on a fixed income and we cannot afford such mistakes. We have had to take our car to the dealership and have the whole outside redone professionally and that wasn't cheap. If you value your car don't take it to Extreme in Tumwater. read more
