Please save your money and your patience and look else where. Back in March/April 2022 we reached out to Chris on Yelp based on the great reviews and had him install a side gate in our back yard. On yelp he replied fairly quickly, however, once we started to text him schedule the install, he took a while to respond, and once he came to install it, he came much later then the time we agreed to, and he was welding the fence at 9pm. Thankfully our neighbors did not complain. Fast forward to August 2022 ( only 4 months from when he installed the fence) my husband reached out to him to let him know that the locking piece was coming loose, and requested that he come and fix it. As you can see in the pictures of the text exchanges, it took him a month to respond. He said he would come, and would never show. Not even the gesture of calling or texting to let us know you are not coming. By December 2022, the locking piece finally detached, and we are having to use zip ties to hold it in place. My husband again reached out to him, he replied he was going to come and never showed up. We have not heard from him since then. We wanted to give him every opportunity to make this right before we wrote this review. But we need to share our experience so that someone can save themselves from wasting their money and getting poor work in exchange. read more

Chris is a extremely professional expert, made an appointment with him, he showed up on time. Came in did his diagnostics of potential problems, researched the manufacture and told me he would be back the next day. Came back did his adjustments of several things, cleaned everything that was a potential problem, adjusted the flame, position. Everything was adjusted, cleaned, and it started up as it should and I am a happy camper! Very reasonable priced, I was happy to pay him.... no more fireplace problems!!! Performed the needed repairs and more. I called about preventing birds from entering house through chimney. He put a mesh at the chimney top under the decorative cover to prevent birds from entering house. I asked if he could also check a skylight for leaks. He caulked the entire perimeter of the skylight to prevent future issues. Highly recommend. read more

Chris is a master craftsman and skilled installer. I had two gates to replace. I initially contacted him through a website called Thumbtack (something like Home Advisor & Angie's List). They sent me the names and phone numbers of 3 or 4 contractors who specialized in wrought iron structures. I emailed one after another until Chris replied with a reasonable and straight forward offer. We scheduled a meeting and he came out and analyzed the job. I accepted his cost to complete the task and in a few days he returned and finished the job. He wasted no time and got right to work. The old gates were detached and hauled away. The new gates were installed and the work areas were cleaned and neat. My wife and I couldn't be happier. Chris is personable, reasonable, and efficient. If I could give no stars I would. I hired Chris to install a new fireplace because he had great reviews. It was a rocky start and I should have stopped there after rescheduling 3 times just for an estimate. There was always a decent reason so I let it go. Once he finally gave me a quote I hired him.he wanted me to order the fireplace replacement (almost 2 grand) and provide a minimal deposit for misc materials he would need so I did. The fireplace had a 2-3 week window so we scheduled for a specific day which was my daughter and her husband's day off. When the fireplace arrived I confirmed the instal date and sent the deposit thru a cash ap he requested. The date came he didn't show. He texted 3 or 4 hours after he was supposed to be here to say he broke down but he would be there. I would have been OK rescheduling but he kept saying he was coming. At 7 that night I told him forget it. He said he'd come the next day but I had plans so we agreed on 1030 on that Sunday. At 1150 he texted new eta was 130. I told him forget it send me my deposit back. After a couple days I still hadn't gotten it he said Thursday. Still don't have it so he's not only unreliable but a thief too. read more
