I finally had my first experience with Buc-cee's and I could see what all the hype is about. I was blown away when we were just approaching the area! The many cars coming and going! I was blown away again when I entered the building. It was like going to a pro game or concert, so many people! But this crowd had a different vibe. It was like a frantic vibe. Like wanting to get in or out of the building or to make sure they were not missing out in getting the popular fried chicken or something else. When I mentioned to my hubby I was going to a Bucc-ee's he asked me to try the Brisket sandwich. Brisket is always last on my list of food to try. But, I will because my hubby asked me to. He's always trying things I ask him to. Well, I am glad that I did because that sandwich was very good. The meat was not dry and it had just the right amount of bbq sauce in it. I just added chopped onions that they already had in little containers to take. Together it made it a perfect meal. They did have an option of sliced or chopped tri-tip. My friend was trying to get an order of the chicken strips but every time it came out fresh people swarmed and immediately grabbed them. She decided not to be part of that swarm. I bought a handful of snacks to try on our road trip to NC and I wanted gift to my dad (an assortment of nuts) with a fave snack of his. They have a good amount of parking available and many entrances to the gas station, I would proceed with caution as some people fly into the parking lot.
