I called in to get an update after that month passed all to be told it had a dead battery and they wouldn't be able to do anything until I bought a new battery. And now after 6 months after picking my car up they're refusing to give me my keys back. No response to my emails or voicemails. I initially just dropped by to discuss my needs and made an initial appointment for an annual vehicle inspection. Upon my return visit following their initial inspection I was informed of necessary repairs and estimated cost were discussed. I was offered an appointment a few days later to drop my vehicle off in the evening and the Service advisor called me early the next afternoon reporting repairs were all completed as well as an oil change I requested. When I picked up the car I was informed of an ongoing issue that needs to be paid attention to at this time and told this will require future repair but isn't absolutely necessary at this time. I felt my bill was very reasonable, service was very prompt and my overall experience with this shop was great. I hope to be a regular customer for all my automobile needs and recommend them highly. On 11/20/24, the "AAlways Hookin Towing and Tire" proved me wrong. In the late afternoon of the 20th, I found myself with a flat tire and no spare. Prior to its failure, I was aware that it had to be replaced and had purchased a used tire. Two tire places in Powhatan had already turned me down flat, and actually seemed annoyed that I was bringing my own tire. So at 4:30pm, in a last ditch effort to get back on the road, I called AAhookin' Cindy answered the phone and patiently listened as I told my sad tale. She asked what time I could be there and said even though closed, she would have someone come over and help me. I thought "Im sorry, what?" thinking I had heard her wrong. I had not. Justin arrived just as I did and immediately started to work. He came back out a few minutes later with the sad news that the tire I had purchased was defective and could not be used. They had no other suitable tire in the Powhatan Store, but He was certain there was one in the Gum Springs Location. So I entrusted my rim to him and went home. The next morning I call to see if Justin had found time to look for a used tire for me. He had looked, retrieved, mounted and balanced the thing and it was ready to go. I thanked Cindy and explained I would have to find a ride to get the tire and would call her back with a pickup time. WITHOUT A PAUSE SHE ASKED "WHERE DO YOU LIVE?" followed by "YOU DONT NEED TO FIND A RIDE WE WILL JUST DELIVER IT YOU". And that is exactly what they did. 1: OPENED A CLOSED SHOP AND HAD JUSTIN DRIVE OVER FROM GUM SPRINGS . 2. WHEN THAT TIRE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, JUSTIN FOUND A TIRE AND GOT IT READY BY 830AM. 3.WHEN SHE LEARNED I WAS IN NEED OF A RIDE, CINDY HAD JUSTIN CLOSE THE SHOP IN GUM SPRINGS AND HAND DELIVER THAT TIRE TO ME. HE EVEN PUT IT ON.I know this is long winded, but honestly have never, ever had this level of customer service.It was amazing and I cant thank Cindy and Justin enough. I can think of a dozen businesses that should send their staff to this lady so she can shoiw them what true customer service should look like. And after asking around about here, I understand she is without a doubt one of the most skilled and proficient Tow Drivers in our area. If you have read this and dont use them, you NUTS.

I came into Meek a sad, irritable mess. Rude, even. Matthew, Davin, Tracy, and everyone at Meek were the opposite. They have been sweet and helpful. I was never pressured. I was given helpful honest advice. Meek even held a car for me, briefly, while I went to check out another one--how many dealers would do a thing like that?
