It's a review of a gas station! Clearly, gas stations are on every Yelper's mind, right? I know, but I write this review for good reason. This gas station has something rarely seen at other stations and retail: employees who care. Employees who make me WANT to come back. I've been tanking up at this station a little over 5 years, and the employees have consistently impressed. They're polite, eager to help. If there's a sale going on the employees will try to alert you to it in effort to save you money. Not to be obnoxious, but to genuinely try to help you save a few bucks. I can't stand retail stores where the employees try to push you into buying products, but here they do it to save you money. And that? That I like. So yeah. I'm definitely a fan of this lil' station. They've saved me quite a bit of money over the years, gotten a lot of good deals and the employees are solely to thank. read more

I have been a loyal customer of this gas station for the past two years, regularly using it for car washes and occasionally for fuel. In nearly every visit, my experience at the store has been pleasant and the staff professional -- with the exception of two troubling encounters, both involving the same employee (a woman who wears glasses). The first incident occurred during a car wash purchase. I presented my rewards card at the time of purchase, but she failed to scan it. When I pointed this out, she told me I should have mentioned that I had a rewards card -- despite the fact that I had done exactly that. Rather than argue, I let it go and assumed it was a one-time lapse. The second incident, which prompted this complaint, was far more concerning. I went into the store to have a lottery ticket checked. As I was walking around trying to locate the ticket-scanning machine, I noticed her watching me. Unable to find it, I approached her and asked if she could scan the ticket for me. She took the ticket and walked to the machine located beside the cash counter, and I moved to the customer side of that same counter -- not behind it, not into any staff-only area -- simply to be able to see that she was scanning my actual ticket and not someone else's. At no point did I step into the area reserved for cashiers or staff. After scanning it, she informed me the ticket was not a winner, and then told me that next time I should not walk up to the side of the machine she was using. I explained, politely, that I had done so only to confirm she was scanning my ticket, since I don't personally know her. I also suggested that if the store didn't want customers standing near that area, they should consider putting up a sign to make that clear. Her response was to sarcastically claim that I would apparently follow her "to the back of the store" -- a clear exaggeration of what had actually happened. I calmly reiterated my reasoning once more, and she ended the exchange with a sarcastic "have a nice day." My brother-in-law was present for the entire interaction and witnessed her behavior firsthand. He, too, was confused as to why she responded so rudely when I had remained calm and courteous throughout. I have no doubt the store's CCTV footage would confirm that I never crossed into any staff-only area and that my conduct was reasonable and respectful from start to finish. This kind of treatment is disappointing and out of step with the otherwise excellent service I've received from the rest of the staff at this location. It's unfortunate that one employee's repeated rudeness can overshadow the genuine effort the rest of the team puts into providing good customer service. Given that there are several other gas stations in the area offering a more pleasant experience, I don't see a reason to continue coming back to this one. I'm writing this in the hope that the owner or management takes customer service concerns seriously and addresses this pattern of behavior -- though I admit I'm uncertain whether this feedback will lead to any real action. read more

I was told that in case I miss the expiration date on my car wash, I could get an extension for unused purchased car washes and it would be no problem. However, I missed my expiration date and went in to request an extension and was refused. When I asked to speak to the manager, the hispanic man said he was a manager and gave no name or card. I asked to speak to the owner and he gave me an extension code for a much lower level car wash than I paid for. I was cheated by this business by the employees who work for the business and shorted what I paid for after being promised that I would be able to use the service even if I was late. read more

I'm reviewing specifically the Exxon Car Wash, which isn't a wash at all. Unless, of course, you count the three buckets of dirty water that have brush sticks you can use to pre-scrub your car before using the kiosk or entering the tunnel. I do advise you use them, as disgusting as they are, because that will be the ONLY scrub your car receives in this car wash. The "car wash" tunnel merely sprays soap and foam and then rinses it off and blows it dry; there are no brushes that even touch your vehicle within the tunnel of this car wash. This is more of a car spritz, not a wash. Unless you just want to rinse off salt from ice-treated roads or rinse off the pollen in the spring, save your money and find another car wash location that will actually touch your car to brush off surface dirt. read more

This is place is getting worst!! They used to have kind friendly staffs but not anymore I don't know who they hire now. Carlos was extremely rude, harsh and seemed violent. He did something wrong but when he got called out he immediately told me to get lost and leave the store. Will definitely alert my neighbors not to go there because of this guy and another raggedy lady there who is extremely disgusting and disrespectful. She seemed to be there for the hour only and refuse to help customers. Nice job Exxon for hiring these type of employees. Already have problems there now you are adding more problem to your business. Be careful of using your debit card or credit card. There are so many charges on my card in the past but of course these crooks who did this will never admit it. The car wash is not great. Granted it's self service drive in but I still had soap on my car when I left. It didn't really get some dirt off the front of my car either. $15.00 wasn't worth it to me. Better off finding a slightly more expensive car wash that'll really get in there. read more

Car wash would not accept my Visa so I paid cash. After paying $20 for a $17 car wash, no change was dispensed. I asked inside after and was told it is "exact change only" and the machine says so - this is not on the machine. Seems like a scam to not accept credit cards and also not offer change. Car wash overall was low quality for the price, left dirt streaks down the side of my vehicle. Definitely won't be using this car wash again. read more

violating my 4th amendment by asking for my drivers license to buy 2 cartons of Marlboro. writing down my Pii information on the credit card receipt and promoting IDENTITY THEAFT. when asked to buy just one carton and buy one carton again as 2 separate purchases the manager was called and was extremely rude and refused to make my purchase. what policy trumps my rights? I came here plenty of times for the automatic car wash. I have no clue why because it sucks. I always come here and it seems that I always manage to have at least 1-2 people in front of me. This is the worst Exxon location; the manager Taj Ali is there whenever he wants to be and is never there when I'm there apparently. The staff cares less if you buy anything from them. Their 93 octane is usually out of stock and they basically force you to take your business somewhere else. 93 did not work on my pump and Doreen told me to go fly a kite.Never coming back here again, I'll push my car to the next station if I have to.
